If Barcelona signed Osimhen they would certainly make a nice advanced unit, he would be a nuisance both in the league and in the Champions League.
It is not easy to sign Osimhen also due to his very high salary, but he would be a striker worth taking. We will try to strengthen the attack to be competitive in the UCL too, we'll see what happens.

Osimhen is a good player, and I'm confident he will perform well wherever he goes, given his form in Saudi Arabia. As you mentioned, it's difficult to sign Osimhen, and many clubs have been trying to secure his services because he has a lot of potential and is the best option in attack. For now, I doubt that anything like that will happen, and we are hoping for things to happen differently if Osimhen is in the game because it will make even the Champions League super interesting, and the young player has made a name for himself to the extent that almost every club wants him.

Indeed, if Barcelona can bring in Osimhen, it will certainly have the potential to make Barcelona perform well in the Champions League and La Liga because Barcelona currently seems to be in need of a great player like Osimhen. However, until now I haven't found any good news whether Osimhen will be bought by Barcelona or not. What I know now is that Barcelona doesn't seem to want to buy Osimhen because Osimhen's salary is very high and Osimhen is said to be less compatible with Hansi Flick's coaching style. But well, we'll see what happens later. Yes, hopefully Barcelona quickly finds a good player and finally Barcelona has a stronger squad than currently.

Indeed, if Barcelona plays without a great striker, it will certainly have the potential to lose to Real Madrid in the competition and will certainly be difficult to compete with UCL teams like PSG, Arsenal and others. However, I think Barcelona will definitely try to get a new, very great striker, and I think there is great potential for Barcelona to get a new, great striker. Well, we'll see what happens later.

If Barcelona signed Osimhen they would certainly make a nice advanced unit, he would be a nuisance both in the league and in the Champions League.

The chances of getting Osimhen are very low and some sources are saying that he will not be included. There could be many reasons behind not getting Osimhen and the reason you mentioned could be one of them. If we look at Barcelona's game, we can see that Barcelona does not rely on just one player to attack, but they keep the ball in the box and play small passes between themselves. But if we look at Osimhen, we can see that he is very good at attacking quickly, but when we consider keeping the ball in the box or playing passes, then maybe there is someone better than Osimhen. But yes, Osimhen is a very good player, if Osimhen joins Barcelona, then we can hope to see something good.

I saw that Arsenal are interested in Osimhen and that supposedly active negotiations are taking place. But at the same time, Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek stated that Osimhen will not be sold this summer. There were also rumours that Al-Hilal are interested in Osimhen, but I think that is very unlikely. I doubt Osimhen is ready to move to Saudi Arabia. I think he is still young and wants to play in Europe for a while longer. As for a possible move to Barcelona, I couldn’t find anything about it.

Finally it's matchday in the playoff stage of the qualification!

My heart will be beating with Fenerbahçe today. We have a really difficult match to play and bookies also think the same as far as I can see. The odds look really juicy though.  Grin  I would probably bet on my team to make it more entertaining.

I guess Dinamo wouldn't fail too as they are at home. They should be through league phase against Viking. However I can't say much about the remaining match today. It makes me feel like a boring draw match between Levski Sofia and AEK...

Do you think Manchester United is among the teams with a complete squad in the Champions League? I don’t think Manchester United has the complete squad to compete for the Champions League. Manchester United will need to make more signings before the end of the transfer window. Other teams are busy signing 4 to 5 players during the transfer market, and Manchester United only signed two midfielders, thinking they can beat every opponent they face this season.

However, Michael Carrick is trying to convert Dorgu from left back to left forward, so I expect the team to sign another left back as a backup for Shaw. Luke Shaw is an injury player, we are not confident enough that he will be fit throughout this season. Manchester United also needs more attacking players to compete with Rashford because he is not at his best level anymore.
Manchester united have the same backline from the 2022 they didn't even change the backline Dalot , Shaw., Martinez, Maguire. So you think this back line can complete in UCL Haha I don't think so they can complete in Europe right now with this backline. They need some changes to compete in european competition. Manchester United need transfer not to change any player position they just sign 2 midfielder in this transfer window and not focus on defence line. I thought Araujo can loan out to Manchester United because he is following Gerad pique roadmap but they ended loan out to Liverpool. Because Manchester United have no interest to strengthen their defence line.

I don't know how carrick can carry this Manchester United team next season because they don't have any good defender they just focus on midfielder and I think if your defence is weak you can't win the league. Also they don't have any trusted forward as well Rashford is back to Man United squad but they are not consistent performance players. So Manchester United need some good transfer to strengthen their squad first they need a good defender to pair up with Maguire and then they need a good winger as well as a good Attacking midfielder as well.
Manchester United might not really look as if they are planning on their defense line but we don't know what plans they have for it, because without being told, they should know that they are not going to do well in the champions league without a better defence line. Regardless Manchester United will need to strengthen their entire squad and probably have backups for each strategic position to avoid reduction in consistency whenever a player is not on form or when a player is injured to maintain their consistency because this coming season is going to be long for the team and they will need a lot of physicalities to maintain their consistency in the leagues.

He will, he has to. The way the players of Madrid behave has become too much of a problem that their previous coaches find it hard to actually do their jobs as coaches and when the club underperforms people end up blaming themselves coaches when in truth if the players had simply listened then maybe their performance would have been better.
What's the point in a club having a manager if the players are not even going to listen to him but instead are just going to do whatever comes to mind?

The stories might be more on the Madrid team but Barcelona has egoistic players as well, People don't talk about Yamal as much but that because his is different from Mbappe's but that doesn't mean it's not there.

Real madrid has been a team that is always filled with players with big ego's, so you can't bring a nobody to coach such players, and one thing the club do that I don't like is that they tend to give the players too much power, because they would rather sack the coach that is having problems with the players, than caution the players that is doing whatsoever they like.
Mourinho is definitely not a nobody, his experience as a coach speaks for itself and this also won't be his first time in Madrid so he is not going there as someone who's going to a new club but as someone who's returning to a club he already has previous experience coaching, the players might not be the same but that won't matter much.
Real Madrid has also had bigger players in the past than they have today and those players were calm, the likes of Ronaldo.

After their league match at the weekend, Fenerbahçe will now face Lyon tonight as they look to continue their European campaign.

They need to beat Lyon tonight to make up for the disappointing result they suffered in the league. Being the home side gives them an advantage and I believe they will get the win tonight.

Fenerbahçe have been unable to qualify for the Champions League for a long time, and I believe they can finally end that drought this season.

Maybe that is the exact reason that they had a disappointing result in the league because their full focus is in Champions tonight. It is an encounter we have seen in previous seasons in group stages and not preliminary qualifiers like this time. For this home match I am confident that Fenerbahce will have a win tonight despite being a very difficult game on paper. Lyon is also missing from some time in Champions so this encounter is also of high importance to them too. Difficult but for tonight my bet is Fenerbahce to win or at least draw no bet.

Barcelona have spent a lot of money already in this transfer market, they can’t afford to pay for Osimhen again after signing Rodri because Galatasaray will never sell him cheap. It will look similar to that of Julian Alvarez, the team don’t want to sell him, and I don’t also think Osimhen is willing to listen to any offer from Spain because his targeted destination was the premier league before he moved out of Napoli, and now that he has improved in his performance and helped Galatasaray win trophies, I don’t think he will leave now.

If Victor Osimhen will have to leave, it should be to the premier league club, but he don’t look like a player that is willing to leave, and Galatasaray are also not willing to sell because he is their best player as we speak.

Even when I saw this news, i know it is not going to be possible because Galatasaray are enjoying him very well and they will not let him go this summer, Osimhen is a very good player that every club will want because of how he is performing and also scoring. I don't think Barcelona are seriously ready for him again, their interest is not that serious but as for Arsenal they are they really want him, but I doubt it is not going to happen this time around. Osimhen is not ready to go to Saudi Arabia because he believe if he go there definitely is name will be erased, because no one will go for him again since that place is not that competitive as the European Nations.

I don't know why some media are still pushing this Osimhen to Barcelona at front page even though Barcelona has made it clear that he's not part of their priority for now. His playing style doesn't align with Barcelona pattern of playing. If Barcelona eventually signed him, it'll take a couple of time before he adapt to their system. Besides, Barcelona at their current financial situation can not afford to keep him. Alvarez is linked to Barcelona but I'm not sure if they will get him easily. He's compatible with Barcelona pattern and would be a great addition for them if they succeed to pull up the deal.

First of all Barcelona are not prioritizing the signing of Osimhen, it has been so long that they actually haven’t been looking at him and now due to the players wages and the amount of fee that will be charged by Galatasaray I don’t see Barcelona actually bin able to afford this deal. If they have the money they would have definitely completed the signing of Alvarez by now. But that aside I don’t understand why you think Osimhen isn’t fit for Barcelona. The hold up play and linking of attack you are actually talking about was what Osimhen does so well even in his Napoli days with Kvicha Kvaratskhelia as a partner.

For me the deal will be difficult for both Barcelona or Arsenal but getting osimhen will be a great addition to their squad because he will add more as a center striker for any team most especially with his great aerial ability and the strength to go against any defender

Victor Osimhen is a top class Nigerian striker but you should know that this player did not play in the Saudi league but is in great form for a Turkish lig club. As we have seen, this player's performance in the 2025/26 season for Galatasaray was of a high standard as he scored 22 goals in the Turkish Super lig and seven goals in the UEFA Champions League, as you said it is difficult to sign this player as many clubs are trying to add him to the team due to his experience.

At the moment it seems that Arsenal are interested in this player and there are active talks between them but the Turkish league club may keep this Nigerian striker to compete against other teams in the upcoming season as some legendary players have joined the Turkish league club as Lukaku and Salah have joined, so it is clear that the Turkish league will be very competitive in the upcoming season.

I'm eagerly awaiting the match so that Fenerbahçe wins and then I can be overjoyed, it would be good if we don't get caught off guard.
It's essential to field the right squad, hopefully the mistake made in the league will benefit us in tonight's Lyon match. Because there's no going back from the elimination round. Mistakes can be made in the league, lessons are learned from those mistakes, but in the Champions League at this stage, there's no forgiveness for mistakes. Although it will be more difficult than the Sturm Graz match, with the right moves, the match can be easy.

That is 1 surprising fact from a big team from a league that is considered competitive, last time Fenerbahçe competed in the Champions League was during the 2008/2009 season. In my opinion, even though they have the advantage in today's match, they will find it difficult to win because they are up against a strong team from Ligue 1.

In terms of probability, I think Fenerbahçe has a higher chance of winning the home game. I personally wouldn't say it's going to be an easy game for Fenerbahçe, of course it's because Lyon are a team that also has good quality. Lyon also have plans to qualify for the Champions League this season, but the home advantage will also play an important role in the early assessment of who is most likely to win. For this game, I support Fenerbahçe to win narrowly, like 1-0 or 2-1.

Yes, that's right. I sometimes also wonder why so many people doubt a coach like Mourinho even though he has a lot of experience and has proven he can manage egoistic players. This has been proven when Mourinho coached Madrid in the first period, even though at that time there were many star players, so don't think Mourinho is like Alonso or Albeola who failed to coach Madrid.

Besides that when Madrid recruited Mourinho they had already thought carefully about someone who could handle Madrid current problems, and that person was Mourinho and Klopp, only that Klopp wasn't interested at that time, which is why the choice fell on Mourinho. Madrid play under Mourinho so far has shown a lot of development during the preseason, especially with the arrival of Silva in midfield, making Madrid game feel much more dangerous than in previous seasons. Madrid should be watched out for next season both in La Liga and the UCL, because after a disappointing season of course Madrid will come back stronger next season.

The rumours of Arsenal connection with Victor Osimhen move has really lingered for too long and am beginning to think that Arsenal are only wooing the strikers and not strong with their interest in the Nigerian striker, even the transfer fee on Osimhen and his wage is something that many clubs may want to think about before making a strong desire on him. Though he's worth the amount and will deliver to expectation in any league and that's why I think that any club buying him from Galatasaray would never regret spending such funds.

Fenerbahçe has a very strong defensive line; the chemistry between Skriniar and Aké is excellent.
The midfield partnership between Guendouzi and Kanté is also fantastic. Talisca will have a lot of work to do today; he needs to step up and deliver even more than he has in previous matches. Vedat isn't ready yet.
Fenerbahçe needs to play patiently. They were too hasty in the match against Gençlerbirliği over the weekend and lost 2–1 due to two individual errors.
There is a chance to make up for a league defeat, but recovering from a loss against Lyon would be far from easy.
I expect Fenerbahçe to win by a two-goal margin today.

The home advantage is actually what Fenerbahce depends on. I am not sure whether they have a chance when they play in France. usually the Turkish teams are pushed to the maximum when they play in front of their home audience. But it will be a close game either way.

From all the games I think this is the toughest pairing or at least the one with the highest quality.
