In my opinion, Manchester United's squad isn't strong enough for the Champions League. Tielemans stands out as the most notable name among their signings.
Rashford has returned after completing his loan spell. It remains to be seen how Andrey Santos—signed from Chelsea—will perform; although he is a young player, I am unsure what kind of contribution he can make for Manchester United in the Champions League.

Carrick did a fantastic job last year. He might achieve good league results again this season, but the Champions League is a completely different level.

Actually, even though they were playing on the road in Lyon, they failed to capitalize on many scoring opportunities, and we saw that Lyon also couldn’t take advantage of the chances they had. They might be able to do so at home, but it’s worth noting that Fenerbahçe’s defense has been solid.

Fenerbahçe needs to apply pressure from the very first minute as if they were playing at home; otherwise, if they let Lyon take control, I think they’ll have no choice but to lose this match.

Due to Bodo Glimt's champions league performance last season, they should go back to the Champions League again next season because they were very good and pulled up an amazing performance in the Champions league last season.

Bodø/Glimt is certainly the favorite and most suitable team, also considering the result. Not due to the demerit of the NEC, but thanks to the Norwegian club itself, which also demonstrated last year with teams like Inter and Manchester City that it is not a team that should absolutely be underestimated, but rather should be respected to the fullest.

The table has already been turned around in favour of bodo/glimt as they are winning with 3 goals to one, from beginning many doubted bodo's consistency and believed the game will end in probability but here we go its a grand winning in flying colours we are about to witness at the end of the game.
I will say if  bodo could maintain in such momentum it will be a good season for them and may even exceed the position they ended last season in the champions league tournament.

Nene should have started instead of Kerem. We saw just how creative he was after coming off the bench. Guendouzi has been making major mistakes for two matches now due to a lack of communication within the defense. Fenerbahçe has no player who can replace him, so they don't have the luxury of resting him.

Fenerbahce has a good squad and many good players, of course it will always be difficult to win against Lyon even if they are in difficulty. i would have made Asensio play straight away, i don't know why i didn't make him the starter. Manchester United is working to sign new left back before the transfer market close because they know well that they need a better defense of the want to win any trophy this season. Manchester United is considering to sign the Racing Satander’s Salinas and if they can get the deal done then it will help them in that position this season.

Even if they later make the signings, Manchester United is not going to be considered part of the favorites to win the Champions League this season, they are part of the favorite for the Premier League title though since Carrick was able to perform wonderful last season but the Champions League is different.

Unfortunately i can't see United as one of my favorite teams. Honest i think he had a great end to the season with Carrick, but i don't see a ready and well-defined team yet. The start of the season will certainly be like the end of the last one, but i still can't see Manchester United as a rival so important as to be able to win the Premier League.

It won't be a surprise if Bodø/Glimt end up beating NEC home and away to qualify for the champions League, if you have been following their recent form since last season you will notice what at first they will not react like a team that can take you by surprise because they will not dominate the game but the moment you think you can risk from attacking them then you will see them launching an attack and scoring beautiful goals. Bodø/Glimt was underrated in the last season champions League but they shocked so many big teams by defeating them but this time they will no longer be looked as a small club but you will still see them getting some unexpected results.

I am a Manchester United fan and I can not deny the fact that Manchester United is still not ready to win any trophy cause if they are by now they would have signed a good left back to replace luck Shaw who's old and weak at the moment, a good defender to start ahead of Maguire. The team has a good coach but after the defeat against AC Milan you would see the loopholes in the team and they need to make the signing to strengthen the team. Micheal Carrick will be able to handle all the competition that United will pay but he needs the squad and the management needs to sign the players or they will still underperform.

Since Michael Carrick helped Manchester United secure champions league football i was thinking Manchester United management was going to change the way they do their transfer business and sign players that can help Michael Carrick make Manchester United become league title contenders but with the few players Manchester United signed which i am not sure they would perform well i completely agree that Manchester United is still not ready to win any trophy. Bodo/Glimt will certainly manage to qualify for the Champions League without too many difficulties. They have already demonstrated last year that they are a team that can easily compete at every level by demonstrating very strategic football, with very fast possession, aimed at attacking, with which they have put several teams in difficulty.

When people were telling that the way they're doing business is bad, the fans thought people were hating on them. They were busy signing every available player with the hopes of selling to make profit. They forgot that it would make the quality of the team drop because the players they were signing are players with potential, but they are not that good. When you look at Chelsea's squad, you won't believe it's the squad of a team that spent a billion pounds in just two years. The team was still filled with average players. I hope Alonso can take them back to the UCL and help them compete for trophies, but they need a squad overhaul.
