Chelsea will not be playing the Champions League this season but Shakhtar will be playing all their home games at the Bridge, honestly this is a shame. The fans should be furious at this idea, is business but yet again is some how.

When people were telling that the way they're doing business is bad, the fans thought people were hating on them. They were busy signing every available player with the hopes of selling to make profit. They forgot that it would make the quality of the team drop because the players they were signing are players with potential, but they are not that good. When you look at Chelsea's squad, you won't believe it's the squad of a team that spent a billion pounds in just two years. The team was still filled with average players. I hope Alonso can take them back to the UCL and help them compete for trophies, but they need a squad overhaul.

The fans look comfortable with how things are done at the club, they are not questioning the way they operate when it comes to getting players and things that would give them what they need. From all I have seen, Chelsea are not good at killing the talents they bought, many of the players are happy to join the great Blues but after seeing the weakness of the club especially on the field of play should be a reason to discourage players that are putting their efforts to get a win.
I'm just scared for Alonso because if he doesn't give them what they need he might end up getting himself sacked from a club that only wants to make money than changing the structure of the club. Now we have them sitting at home watching their stadium being used by club that fought to be in the UCL and they're happy, I honestly want to see how the fans would feel on that day their stadium will be used for CL game.

Unfortunately i can't see United as one of my favorite teams. Honest i think he had a great end to the season with Carrick, but i don't see a ready and well-defined team yet. I don't think the fans can do anything about it. They can only complain. And then again, fans are not known to be logical. They always make choices based on emotions. They are attached to their teams, so they will support the club in almost whatever they do. There are certain players that Chelsea signed that they shouldn't have signed. When the club wanted to sign Osimhen, a lot of the fans were against it. I couldn't understand it. They preferred Delap simply because he is "Premier League tested". And they keep giving players long term contracts. They feel it's a good strategy but a player who would settle on a small salary just to secure his long term position should raise some skepticism.

I'm just scared for Alonso because if he doesn't give them what they need he might end up getting himself sacked from a club that only wants to make money than changing the structure of the club.

As long as his team plays well, he doesn't have a problem. If he gets sacked, he would just move on to another team. He doesn't have the team to win the League, but he has a team to compete for the other trophies and make the top 5. I believe with Alonso, they have a chance of returning to the Champions League.

I am a Manchester United fan and I can not deny the fact that Manchester United is still not ready to win any trophy cause if they are by now they would have signed a good left back to replace luck Shaw who's old and weak at the moment, a good defender to start ahead of Maguire. The team has a good coach but after the defeat against AC Milan you would see the loopholes in the team and they need to make the signing to strengthen the team. Micheal Carrick will be able to handle all the competition that United will pay but he needs the squad and the management needs to sign the players or they will still underperform.

The fans will definitely support the club but they should voice out because the more they stay calm the more things will continue to go bad, imagine Chelsea not in the champions league, they love winning more than anything in this World and that is why whenever they win any title they keep it on their tongue for a very long time even when the banter is against them they use something like the champions of the world. What I'm saying is that, with the way they have kept themselves the fans would have complained on some players that are not doing well and the management too are messing everything the former owner have built, now Chelsea will have to watch their stadium being used for CL games while they sit at home, too bad.

For me Alonso is not really the problem, like I mentioned earlier that the board, the management are one of the problems Chelsea are facing because they are not that good at doing business that will favor the club, signing players that the manager doesn't want (it could be). For tomorrow's matches, I can say Celtic and Bodø/Glimt have already secured their ticket for league phase. Hapoel aren't still safe as it's only 2-1. Be aware that Sabah are favoured to win at home now.

As for the remaining matches on Wednesday, I say Dinamo and AEK will progress first. Celje - Slovan is so hard to predict! But I say Slovan due to their effort in the 1st leg.


Lastly Fenerbahçe which is my team... I really hope us to advance. Lyon aren't in their golden era. It's in France this time but still not a mission impossible for us. We just need a certain game plan this time!

This is another opportunity for Hull City to play in the Premier League, i see them as a club that will not be returning to the Championship by the end of this season, i think they will preserve a spot out of the 17 clubs that will remain after the 3 relegated teams.

All I am saying is we are ready to watch Hull City do their thing, their performance was peak, and with consistency, they can end the season within the top 10 in their first return to the Premier League after so many years, the kind of toughness we want to see in the league.

In my opinion, it is too soon for you to judge Man United's style of play based on just one match. The newly signed players also need time to adapt to Carrick's system, wait for 8–10 matches to see the pattern of play.
Throughout the history of the EPL, many big teams have started poorly but finished in the top four; Arsenal, for instance, lost three consecutive matches in the 2021/22 season yet still managed to contend for a top-four spot.

I can understand your disappointment, but don't be pessimistic just yet, because there are still 37 matches left in the EPL. Besides, Carrick won't let his team keep performing like this, as they will be competing against other elite clubs in the UCL.

It’s almost certain that Bodo Glimt will make it to the Champions League again this season, they are already leading by 2-0, and their opponent NVAV NEC is one mad down, so it’s easier for Bodo Glimt to win the second leg again because they are already leading 5-1 on aggregate.
