I agree that some players that are in Italian clubs at present are different from what it used to be those days, but in the UEFA champions League, Realmadrid and inter Milan have the experience, athough Madrid has always been at top of events if we are to compare both teams, inter might face a defeat today because Mourinho will try to win his first match in the UEFA champions League this season considering the level of gold players in his side.

Confidence is build gradually, they have played few matches, we expecting them to improve, if you are betting on BTTS, it means you picked the same bet option as I did.

Yes some players currently in Italian league are different from the players that was in Italian league when Italian teams were dominanting the champions league. However, in the Real Madrid and Inter Milan game, i will go with Real Madrid to win since they are playing at home against Inter Milan but they need to defend well, because Inter Milan started well this season by winning 3 games they played

The previous UEFA Champions League thread for the 2025/2026 season was started by Babo, meaning this could be the Champions League thread for discussion. Until anyone says otherwise, this is where I will be dropping my predictions and match reviews.

I guess this is the same thread and OP just changed the title. We can still share predictions and discuss in this thread, but stay as constructive as before. There are several matches going on right now and one of them is Real Madrid vs Inter. So far Real Madrid are leading 2-0 over Inter and the possibility will still increase given the bad performance of Inter's defense in the first half. Inter started the match well, but the pressure given by Real Madrid really made the Inter defense make mistakes that led to 2 goals.

We don't have to be relying on this past records. It doesn't use to work out for us anymore, because things are really changing in the football industry. Real Madrid just proved us wrong last week and made things difficult for bettors, so we shouldn't get carried away with their past records. Inter Milan is not an easy opponent for them, and even though it's in the Champions League, I think it's necessary for us to watch how they would start the journey.

Very clinical, this is what I'm talking about, you don't need to create too many chances to win a match, if you can convert the few you make and defend well, you will definitely win matches without dropping points. Yes is the official thread but it seems op updated the name that's why it looks different. Today is the starting day of the UEFA Champions League and is good some important clubs are playing, meanwhile Aston Villa have set different beginning for themselves by winning Club Brugge 3:2 unlike the losing starts they had on there league. I was expecting tough encounter with Real Madrid and Inter Milan but they have already conquered Inter Milan with with 2:0 first half. There would be more wining on this first day considering the two that has finished and the ones currently winning aside from Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund who have not scored there opponent.

Aston Villa beat Club Brugge 3-2! The Villans have their first win of the new season. Emery's side made a great start to the Champions League. After picking up just one point in their first three Premier League games, the Birmingham side have finally found their rhythm. The Belgians launched a late assault, but the English side held on! Overall, though, Villa had to work extremely hard to secure all three points.

The last time Aston Villa had a win drought like this was last season and what happened after was they went on 4-game unbeaten run afterwards and then crowned their season with the UEL title despite the slow start. Maybe we would see something similar this season, maybe not. Btw that Inter keeper just did a superb double save just before half time so he's not all useless.

Real Madrid do not need to doubt, when there is a chance Mbappe will never fail to do it, this is indeed the fault of the back line from the Inter Milan side who made a blunder that led to a goal and the last goal was the goalkeeper's own fault.

In the second half should Inter Milan can score even though in the end will not win, but I see in terms of the chances they create too much, it is unfortunate if there is no goal from Inter because I expect BTTS for bets in pairs.

It’s a little surprising how Real Madrid already went 2 goals ahead without Inter Milan having to respond already. I expected this to be a highly contested game and it isn’t far from it though but in scoring, Inter Milan needs to get the goals coming already. Not like they would get anything out of this match because, I don’t see how they would beat Real Madrid at home. The least they can do is to get goals at the group stage to reduce the goal difference.

I'd say that the goal Madrid scored because of Inter's goalkeeper is just one of those things that happen. Sometimes even the smallest lapse in concentration ends up being punished like that. It's tough, but the game is still wide open. The fact that they have a two-goal lead doesn't mean they have an unbeatable advantage over Inter.

Let's remember that Inter is a lion in the Champions League. This means they'll likely come out in the second half with everything they've got. Now more than ever, Madrid needs to look for more goals and not just sit back like this, even though Bellingham almost scored another one in the last minute.

Mistakes are bound to happen and that doesn't mean that the person that made such mistake isn't good or useless if not Inter wouldn't use as their goalie in a big match like this. I believe that he has learnt in a hard way.

Inter is just embarrassing making mistakes left right and center, how do you make such errors playing against predators like Madrid who have a Kylian Mbappe. Inter if they try harder can still have something before the final whistle.

I fully agree that this match looks like anything but a home match for Real Madrid. They haven't been the high possession team for a while now, but this is very passive by them, yet they got the quality to score whenever there is an opportunity. What is so hard for Inter Milan now is the counter attack abilities Real Madrid has. If they open up because they need to, the chance to concede the third goal is very high. That's what Mbappe is good for, he is forcing the defense to keep their position most of the time, it is tough to move up all lines when you are behind against Madrid as that's the invitation Mbappe is waiting for.

I don't even understand Inter Milan in this match, instead of them to fight to score they are possessing the ball instead. Did they came to Santiago Bernabéu to get ball possession or they came to win. Inter should better attack more in the second half so that they can score and have chances of equalizing the score if not Real Madrid might score a third goal and probably score more goals. However, i like the performance of Real Madrid because all their attention is on how to score goals and not to win in ball possession.

Mourinho style of play isn't really about possessive football but rather their fast counter attacking ability and it has worked for them so well even as they don't have the ball that much. Real Madrid already being two goals ahead is a major decider of who probably winning the match already because I don't see Inter Milan coming back to score two goals or even one with the way they are playing now.
