I watched that game to the end, so I guess what you said is true. Inter played very well in the second half and they were really able to change the pattern of Real Madrid's game to last until the game was over. Inter were unlucky with some of their best goal chances, but it was also Thibaut Courtois who made some great saves. Real Madrid were very pressured in the second half, even if every now and then they were capable of quick counterattacks. This victory is certainly great and deserves to be celebrated, this is an important victory to start their journey in the Champions League.

In the other match, Manchester City also won 0-2 from Porto. The game didn't look difficult, but Manchester City had to be very patient to score. Haaland scored 2 goals in this match, still enough to help his team to win.

When it comes to starting a game Jose Mourinho has a crazy mentality to be very offensive and that is what Real Madrid did from the beginning of this game, before inter Milan could understand the game Real Madrid have already made them off balance, the offensive attack with the likes of Vinicius, mbappé and Jude Bellingham usually create serious unrest in the defence line of most of their opponents, Mourinho understand this strength and is using it to his own advantage but what I think Madrid don't have for now is the ability to maintain a certain structure, you will see that when the game advances to a certain extent, they will start having some redundancy, so it's part of the reason why I believe Mourinho is still building his first 11.

I am very confident you didn’t watch any minute of this game, the two early goals that Real Madrid scored were errors but even at that anyone that watched that game will tell you that this game can be won by just any team. For a very long time in the game Courtios was Real Madrid best player and arguably the man of the match and this tells you the story of the game.

Regardless of that this game was definitely a champions league classical it was befitting for a knockout stage game. An end to end game which I think by the end of the season will be right up there with the best games for the season

A lot have changed in the squad but with what I can say is that they need replacement or change of location. Congratulation to Real Madrid for winning the first match of the champions League, a lot of people were saying that Real Madrid are only focusing on the Champions League, which I disagree with them because even in the La Liga they are not performing as good as we expected, real Madrid have interest in all the competition because due to lack of sufficient performance in last two seasons that stop them in winning trophies.

The match ended 2-1 as expected; Real Madrid won as expected, they have started their Champions League campaign with a solid win against Inter Milan. Damn, I regret not betting on Man City. The odds were quite good. I was thinking of doing that but got busy with other things and never got a chance of getting to it. Oh well.
I thought it would be more of an even game, but Man City clearly dominated. Porto also had their chances, but mostly resulting from defensive mistakes by City. According to the stats, Porto didn't have a single shot on target.

Real also delivered, but Inter seems to have put up a good fight. I haven't seen the game; I'll wait a bit for good highlights, but looking at the game stats, Inter did put some pressure on Real, as they dominated in posession and shots on goal. It only works so often. I don't like it when a team slows down despite having momentum. If you think about it, when Real Madrid had those two goals and were then to step up their game and push Inter Milan even harder, would Inter have a chance at all to get back into the match? Real Madrid actually did well, I was not actually expecting them to win the match, I was thinking that the match will end in draw.
The second goal that Real Madrid scored was a mistake by inter goalkeeper I believe if not for that goal the match would have ended in draw.
The match ended in 2:1 and that’s a good win for Real Madrid, I believe this win is going to give them the hope and confidence of doing more better.
But to be honest Real Madrid needs to do more better if they really want to win the champions league title this season.

This game came with an unexpected start, with Real Madrid leading 2-0 at halftime, Mbappe having the best moment with the first goal for Madrid in the Champions league. The two early goals gave Madrid a good headstart against Inter Milan till the end of the match. Both teams played beautifully throughout the match and it wasn't a one sided game.

I could sense how intense this Champions league will be, the big teams are back to winning ways and goals pouring nonstop, that's what every football lover wants to see.
