When it comes to starting a game Jose Mourinho has a crazy mentality to be very offensive and that is what Real Madrid did from the beginning of this game, before inter Milan could understand the game Real Madrid have already made them off balance, the offensive attack with the likes of Vinicius, mbappé and Jude Bellingham usually create serious unrest in the defence line of most of their opponents, Mourinho understand this strength and is using it to his own advantage but what I think Madrid don't have for now is the ability to maintain a certain structure, you will see that when the game advances to a certain extent, they will start having some redundancy, so it's part of the reason why I believe Mourinho is still building his first 11.

On my end, Mourinho's mentality of being offensive as you said doesn't matter or count as this match is concern, Madrid were just fortunate to have won the match but didn't play to expectations.

The defence was penetrable, so Thibaut Courtois had to make some saves that would have upset the home side. What matters most is the result. Sometimes you don't have to play beautiful football  to win the game. Arsenal played all sorts of ugly football in some matches and ended up in the finals. However, how unlucky they are because they lost the momentum because Curtois blocked many of their chances. The amount of attempts created is the evidence.

It was a good result indeed, considering that this was a side that lost to Real Betis over the weekend in the Laliga. One would think they reserved their energy in that game and played it safe for this particular champions league fixture.
