Como is a team on the rise and the fact they didn’t sell off their key players from last season to make profits shows they mean business and have something to say. I’ll also have to credit Cesc Fabregas for not leaving, instead chose to stay back and build with this team, it’s incredible work he’s doing and success will not be far from him.
With the way they’re playing they will definitely be in the teams to make the playoffs or qualifier rounds, where it’ll be shocking is if they make it into the top 8 teams.

Lamine Yamal is especially popular with the audience and the media. Everyone likes him because he has the potential to become a superstar, which is why Raphinha is not get that importance. I don't believe that will happen. Como are playing at home, while Leipzig have always struggled when playing away. I don't consider this first win enough to convince me that Como can continue to move forward. Just wait and see how Como perform against an EPL team or another popular club. If Como can remain consistent against Man United, PSG, and Barcelona, that's when I'll gladly admit that Como are a great team.

Had the match be played in AS Roma home ground nothing would have stopped AS Roma from beating Fenerbahçe. This is just the first round of this year Champions League so all the teams that lose or draw their match in the first round can still qualify to the round of 16 if they can win more of their remaining matches.

The funniest thing about this goal isn’t just the slide and the cutting but those guys were still sliding till the ball entered the net.., that was a long way to go. Since the big teams in the Serie A are not representing the Italian league very well, Como can show them how to do it by qualifying for the next stages. Inter Milan and Napoli who have been strong rivals in the Serie A lost their matches, even AS Roma also lost but these teams has made it to the Champions League many times but a new Italian team in the Serie A which is Como did what the big teams could not do by winning their opponent Leipzig with even a high score margin, it shows bravery from the Cesc Fàbregas led team who have been fearless from last season until now.

How is it that we have more confidence in Como than the other Italian teams in the UCL. It's a big shame because even if Napoli and Inter Milan couldn't win their matches which is understandable that they met bigger teams, what happened to Roma who met a Turkish team Fenerbahçe. I hope fatigue don't slow Como's performance in the UCL because that will be their only major challenge since they don’t have squad depth.
