Despite having 2 best forward like Mbappé and Vinícius their chemistry on pitch isn't clicking. Even with strong squad Real Madrid hasn't won trophy for quite some time. If they finish this season empty handed as well, it is certain that Pérez will be desperate to overhaul the squad.
You know, they had even made massive €150 million offer to bring Álvarez over from Atlético. It wouldn't be surprising if they pursued the signing of Dembélé for upcoming season.
Both strikers have been together at Real Madrid for more than two seasons, yet they have not built the right partnership. More concerning is Mbappé's selfishness in some games. From my observation, Barcelona has the best attacking force in La Liga. I can attest to it by the number of goals they have scored this season. José Mourinho would have to figure out a way to build chemistry between his strikers.

Arsenal and Barcelona are looking like the favorite currently because of their performance so far, Bayern Munich is not really stable, same thing with Paris Saint Germain but the game can still turn around later because anything is very possible. Manchester city and Real Madrid is somehow struggling but they are still in the picture though I am not saying Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain are not in the picture of course they are but they are not showing it
I agree when you said Barcelona with the big change in their tactics and grinta of players, watching most of their matches, I must say they have achieved a great result with a lower cost team. But, when you mentioned Arsenal I feel a bit hesitant about it, we can agree that Premier League is different, especially few first matches will never give you the same picture as when we arrive to the mid season matches and standings, I have said the same thing about giving Arsenal much gratitude and at the end they just failed in everything. Real Madrid is being the same team we have watched and enjoyed following with so many surprises even in their worst moments, they are just so unpredictable, so let’s see what and how they perform next.

Even me, i don’t see Madrid as part of the champions league finalists, they weren’t so stable last season and even this season they are still struggling to understand themselves especially with their new coach Jose Mourinho, so i still see the finals between either PSG vs Arsenal or Arsenal vs Barcelona, this 3 teams are in good form and one of them might be the favorite to win the champions league this season.
What if none of these teams that you mentioned above makes it to the finals. The Champions League will be very tough this season and we got the heat from the opening games. I feel that Bayern Munich might find themselves in the finals this season because they have really tried hard in previous season but couldn't make it to the finals. It is impossible for the above listed teams not to get to the finals, football is predicted using statistics and statistics is a test of consistency over time, judging from the current world football statistics i feel Arsenal, PSG and Barcelona remains the favorite, the only team that can sprout a surprise is Real Madrid because champions league seems to be Madrids birthright and they have won it back to back even when they weren’t in good form but as for other teams that wasn’t listed above, they will need extra work to be able to pull to the final, had it been Chelsea was even playing this particular Champions league i would have even seen them amongst the list because Chelsea is another team that is good with champions league, i don’t see Bayern as a threat either they will be knocked out at quarter or semi finals as usual, it was back then when Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery where still playing for Bayern that they use to be very dangerous in Champions league, not now.

Whenever players only focus on his individual performance rather than team then definitely his end result will be nothing except distraction. We all know that Kilyan Mbappe is selfish players and all the time he only focused on his individual performance. Even when Messi move to PSG everyone was expecting that PSG will win UEFA champions league title but unfortunately they couldn't make it because of Kilyan Mbappe ego. Messi and Neymar was try to play for Tena despite Kilyan was only emphasizing on individual....... So similarly at Real Madrid he also have the same behavior like in previous season I saw Kilyan Mbappe only aim to his individual and because of this he didn't won any trophy for team. On the other hand if we look at the Barcelona they all are playing for team and that's why they have great season and maybe Lamine Jamal would also won a Balloon d'Or.

One of the mistakes I think most clubs make is thinking more attackers would solve their problem. Should Real Madrid be entertaining the same narrative, it would be a huge mistake as well. They’ve got some of the best team in the world and clearly some very good attackers but somehow, they still believe it’s not enough. The team doesn’t need Alvarez, when they’ve got the likes of Mbappe still giving the team his best and helping them to win games. They would just end up with another player that would prioritize his personal glory over team brilliance once more.

I really don't see the selfishness in this two attackers, both of them have been incredible in supporting the team, now Jose Mourinho have even gotten some much younger guys that are helping to improve the teams performance, if for any reason, what your saying is true, Jose Mourinho wouldn't even keep them in a guy for more than five minutes of play. The season has just started, Real Madrid are still building capacity, they haven't reached their full potentials yet, especially with the kind of players they have, they have been winning, so let's still watch and see if they will maintain such momentum. Barcelona are the defending champions, they should be more coordinated, so I'm not surprised with the result they have now.

If we look at Mbappe's past club performances, we can see that he has done the same thing in his past clubs. We saw it last season and we can see the same thing this season. I thought Mourinho would take the first step towards building a good relationship with the club since he joined, but so far we haven't seen any big steps and if this continues, we won't see anything good from Real Madrid. I hope Mourinho takes steps in this regard as soon as possible.

I definitely agree with you in terms of La Liga: Barça's attack is better, with more fluidity and creativity than Real's, as I see them as pure talent and not so much teamwork. This year, El Clásico will be the same as the last few years—Barça will dominate and win games with ease. On the other hand, I think Barça will not have much success in the UCL again this season; defense is a terrible problem for them, as they make many errors and better teams than Levante will capitalize on all of them.

Well you're right Barcelona has a much better attack, teamwork, creativity and fluidity and they are overall the better team and has higher chances but there is something about Mourinho that makes me believe it won't be easy for Barca this season. Although Real Madrid are far from being at the same level as Barcelona but Mourinho being a dirty coach might pull a surprising stunt but still I think Barcelona is the favorite. I also don't think they can have success in the Champions League because of the weak defense. With that defense they can't face top teams with so much attacking threat. They concede easily to even small teams so that's a major set back for them in the champions league.

Speaking of Real Madrid, I don't think they have the potential to last long in this competition. Basically, no matter what, their performance hasn't changed significantly. So, this will certainly be a huge obstacle for them to go far. Mourinho's arrival also doesn't seem to have immediately made Real Madrid a great team.
So,, with that in mind, I don't think Real Madrid will be too hopeful of winning the Champions League.
Well, you are free to believe what ever you want but never write off Real Madrid in the champions league. There have been seasons when Madrid was not doing so well in their domestic leagues but they still ended up winning the champions league. Even during their last champions league triumph in 2024, they were not performing so well during the group stage. They ended finishing 11th in the group stage but the rest is history. To put it simple, never underrate Madrid in the champions league, even in their lowest because they always know how to get the job done in the champions league. Don't also forget they have an experienced coach, you can say all you want but never count them out because you may be left in shock.

Currently, the top of the Champions League standings is once again filled by PSG, Munich, and Barcelona. So, it seems the flow is very clear again this season, where PSG is likely to go far again in this competition. Moreover, as far as I know, PSG is also very ambitious to be the winner again this season, so they can have a record of three consecutive wins.
So, this will clearly motivate the players to be even more enthusiastic, because basically, it is already clear that PSG players are performing even more brilliantly. Then, Barcelona and munich is also playing well at this time, because they also managed to defeat their opponents in the first match with the same score as well. So,, this will be a very exciting competition between these three top teams. So, in your opinion, will these three teams continue to be in the top three or not? I think it is possible,, because in all aspects, these teams are indeed better than the other teams.

Polymarket prices odds of Arsenal winning higher than PSG's at the moment. 15% against 13% respectively. Also PSG odds are on par with Real Madrid.

Have you heard of any players disrespecting each other's since Joss Mourinho started coaching them?, so actually he has a very good relationship with the team and they respect him a lot so his relationship with players doesn't have anything to do with the lack of full strength we had imagine they would have, the only thing he wasn't able to achieve was making the brilliant squad of Real Madrid to perform like one. Even if I usually get disappointed on Mbappe during some match but his importance doesn't change, so actually Jose Mourinho needs to show them what to do as there chances are still there.

Forget about the names Real Madrid have on the back line, Madrid is lacking quality communication on the back side between the defenders. Three positions aside from the left back, most importantly the right back position. Dumfries is not Real Madrid's standard if they want to compete in the Champions League, the defender will be tortured by many wingers. Already in the domestic league, Dumfries cannot hold his position, even when supporting the attack, he's currently the lowest-ranked left back, i'm judging him because i don't think he is capable unless he improves.

Yes, they made this bid to sign Alvarez but for some reasons I believe the bid was just submitted without expecting any positive feedback. Real Madrid knew Atletico Madrid were never going to sell them Alvarez and that bid was made to fulfill the pre election promise Perez camp made to bid for a mystery €150 million striker. The bid was exact, it didn't add or remove any figure from the pre election promise bid. They knew it was never going to work that's why they withdrew as soon as it was rejected.

This two players wants to be the head of the team, they’re both feeling big and wants to be the best the team always rely on when it comes to goals. When you have players like this in your team, it is usually hard for you to actually see them produce the best results. They began to become even more selfish with one another which I don’t think could be the case of this two. The problem here is them not yet understanding each other, they need to build a very strong chemistry between themselves, because that’s the only way they can build the team and themselves. Real Madrid is a big club and having those two players in your team is already an edge for you. I hope they both get to understand this early and not allow selfish interest stop them from both growing and the team also. This was the same reason rumours had it that Vinicius Junior will not renew his contract and leave, but he later renewed and he’s still with them playing.

I think Dembele is more interested in PSG winning the champions League in a row which would be a historic record for his career. And real madrid with the current conditions it is difficult it seems, seeing so solid their competitors, obviously hope is very small for Real Madrid who have not changed much in this season.

PSG tops the standings after defeating Slovan Bratislava 6-1. Bayern Munich defeated Bodo/Glimt 5-0. Barcelona defeated Feyenoord 5-1. Manchester United defeated Sabah FK 4-0. Teams ranked 1 through 4 in the Champions League standings all defeated relatively weak opponents and all played at home. For me, this isn’t a huge surprise, and this is just the beginning of the challenges—PSG will be put to the test by Manchester City at Etihad Stadium, and Manchester United will face a test against Atlético Madrid. Now, these are the matches that will truly put them to the test.
