My focus is one Atletico Madrid vs Manchester United, many people are rating Manchester united very low in this match based on their recent league performance,  couple with the fact that Atletico Madrid is playing at home,  there will be a surprise result in this game,  Manchester United will score and might likely win. I think it's too confident to say that Man United will win. I think it's not that easy the Champions League is always difficult to predict based on domestic league performance. If Man United wins, it might only be by a 1-goal difference. I tried checking several prediction sites and they stated that the win would be for Atletico Madrid, not Man United. But there are indeed some that predict Man United will come out on top because currently Man United is in the top of the standings, in 4th place.

This will be one of Michael Carrick’s biggest tests of the season because United have been on and off, since the start of the season, but right now I don’t see United winning Atletico Madrid at home. Galatasaray playing at home will not help them against Barcelona because Barcelona of this season looks like they are not going to lose any game cause they appear too decent when they play regardless of the team they play against. Barcelona has excellent winning rate this season and Galatasaray on the other hand has been conceding too much goals in every game they play so they will have big problems to defend against Barcelona if not they will concede up to 3 or more goals. On paper Atlético Madrid is the favourite to win Manchester United, but i will not use because of the performance of Manchester United in the premier league and because Atlético was given smaller odds compared to Manchester United to completely write Manchester United off against Atlético Madrid, because Liverpool were playing badly in the premier league last season but when it get to the champions league they played well and even qualified to the play off stage, so i think Manchester United would do like Liverpool in the champions league. Even if Atlético Madrid won their two last domestic league games, while Manchester United lost and drew in their two last games in their domestic league does not guarantee Atlético Madrid will defeat Manchester United.
