I’m ashamed of myself at this point. I was very confident about Manchester City winning against PSG at home. I forgot that the Champions League has nothing to do with a team performance. Manchester City conceded three goals in the first half, and I couldn’t even my eyes. Manchester City have not recovered from their last defeat, and they have lost another game against PSG with the same result. Enzo Fernandez is alway unlucky any time he plays against PSG.

It’s obvious that Manchester City won their last league game against Liverpool due to the red card. PSG will remain a threat to their opponents in the Champions League, I really underestimated them due to their poor performances in the league, and they haven’t played against big teams. But the champions have proved they can still do it against whoever they play this season.

It was a big mistake to believe Manchester City would win. If the opponent is not PSG, I agree but since this is PSG then 100% of the victory is already in the hands of Enrique troops. Maresca is just beginning his journey as City coach and has yet to fully understand his players. While PSG do not need to hesitate, chemistry, dangerous tactics, the way they press opponents and are supported by quality players so that before the game starts PSG is already superior.

Performance in the league and in the UCL can no longer be used as a definitive reference. The opponent, the pressure and atmosphere are already different.

However, a series of corner kicks in the final minutes changed Real Madrid’s fate. they executed them brilliantly and managed to score three goals. I can’t agree. The incredible script of the match and Mourinho’s decisions turned things around, but at the end of the day, it’s still just a group-stage game - essentially a flashy encounter that will be forgotten in a year’s time, as it carries no real significance for the tournament. In Rome, of course, it won’t be forgotten for a long time, and I suspect Gasperini will never forget it at all. You are saying this because Manchester City lost, if not you wouldn't have been saying this. Did it occur to you that Manchester City was given the lower odds? Even the bookies tipped Manchester City to win and many bettors also believed that they will win because of their performance since they haven't lost any but PSG didn't show that vibrant energy they showed last season despite that it was in their league games that they had a lot of problems. Maresca understands the team already,, if he didn't understand them he wouldn't have won that many matches. It was until the match started that people began to see PSG as the favourites but before the match started, most people were for Manchester City. I agree that the league matches and the UCL matches are not the same but most times, teams do replicate their league performance to the Champions League.

Roma actually tried, their problem was just that they can't handle pressure from a fast game. I will say it again, Real Madrid have this strategy of switching to a fast game around 30 to 20 mins before stoppage time. Once they pull up that jujitsu move the best thing for their opponent's coach is to replace the tired players with those that can mark and also handle good possession. I strongly suggest changes in midfield and defense.

The players were so tired and under pressure to the extent that they were completely playing nonsense at that point.

Initially i did not rate Paris Saint-German among the teams to win the champions league but having seen how they played against Manchester City and won 2:4 they have not changed at all; they are still the same Paris Saint-German of the last two seasons, and i think they are favourite to win the champions league.

The first 3 goals before half-time in the first half came as a surprise. Maresca decided to go end to end with PSG as he did with Chelsea in the Club World Cup final. He forgot he doesn't have a compact midfield that is able to stop PSG counterattacks. Cherki is the best midfielder Manchester City have after Enzo Fernandez, but that game was not for his type. Cherki wasn't helping in tracking the ball until Maresca decided to bring on that Egyptian player, who helped Manchester City to have a stable game in the second half. It was too late for them to equalize because the score in the first half had already ruined the day.

I don't think you are really hitting the point on both teams, that charges didn't affect the players one bit if not we would have seen it from there last match performance against Liverpool, PSG was just better because they had a refreshed team, they literally used 9 fresh top players in there match against City and that's the major reason they are not doing well in the Ligue 1, they are prioritizing the Champions League over there domestic league because  they know they will still win it eventually

Bro since UCL started this season I have never put Man City in the list of favorites. So without having to wait for the result of The Man City vs PSG game, it still doesn't change my choice.

You can't really say that Manchester city aren't on their best form right now, because they're the one topping premier league right now. If you said PSG aren't on their best form i'll agree to that because they're not doing well in league1 which we saw them struggling but from the look of things, it's seems PSG was preparing for this champions league against Manchester City. Naturally, it will be very difficult for them to come to terms with this, as Roma was leading 3-1 until the final seven minutes of the match. For Gasperini, everything was geared toward a victory he truly believed they had won until Real Madrid staged an incredible comeback. With Real Madrid pulling ahead 4-3 in the short time that remained, accepting the result was bound to be extremely difficult. It is certainly an unforgettable evening, though for all the wrong reasons a major blow for Roma.

That doesn't mean that we shouldn't disappointed on how they bottle 2 goal at the 80th minute.  Real Madrid equalized then in the span of 3 minutes and won the game,that's is big disgrace from Roma, these came from set pieces. Even there fans will be disappointed, especially since the game was played at their home ground.  They were playing well and dominating the game from the start of the game towards the 80th minute.  Roma completely destroyed Madrid midfield especially the two double  pivot , Tuchomeni and Valverde. Manchester City created and missed a lot of big chances for sure while, PSG was more clinical in the way they took their chances. Manchester City only hit things kicking for them more after the halftime dressing room pep talk. Still, they conceded yet another goal, PSG was clearly better.

Personally, I was a bit surprised by the outcome of that match, especially since PSG had such a commanding lead in the first half. I still don’t understand why Man City played so poorly in the first half. PSG truly demonstrated exceptional preparedness, and, well, they showed they were on a different level in that match. And even though they haven’t exactly had a perfect run in Ligue 1, PSG has truly shown its strength in the UCL. It’s actually quite the opposite of Man City, which looks good in the Premier League but in the UCL, I don’t see them playing as well as usual.

I was wrong in my analysis, and it seems I didn’t take into account certain factors, such as what you mentioned regarding the depth of Man City’s current squad.

I wasn’t surprised though, when I saw the PSG lineup I knew there was going to be a serious problem for Manchester City, because 80% of players in the PSG team rested during the weekend league matches, while Manchester City played against Liverpool with full squad. So yes shouldn’t have expected top performance from tired players that just had 2-3 days to rest.

And not forget, PSG are the defending champions. so they have to prove a point which they did, they took Manchester City by surprise with early goals in the first have and before Manchester City could stabilise the game was already knead for them. the only team I see that will be able to try to stop this PSG team this season from winning it for the third time in a row is only Barcelona.

Perhaps it is indeed Barcelona that, at least for now, looks like the team capable of giving PSG a run for their money. Usually, I also count Arsenal among my perennial favorites. But this time, I have some doubts about Arsenal as well. In the Premier League, we’ve seen that Arsenal sometimes struggles to perform at their best. However, PSG is also in a worse position in Ligue 1. Strangely enough, though, they’re a completely different team in the UCL. They’re still proving that they’re a strong team, one that’s even worthy of being a title contender once again.

I had bet on Real Madrid before the match started. I was disappointed with the team's unexpected performance because Roma were less strong than them. Roma played impressively compared to Real Madrid for most of the match but in the last 7 minutes of the match Real Madrid's attacking players put an end to all the wrong thinking and scored 3 goals and Real Madrid won 4-3. I still hadn't stopped watching the game but I was mentally preparing myself to lose the bet. Even in the 82nd minute of the match I was almost sure that Real Madrid would lose but they improved their situation very quickly.

I had predicted that match would end in draw. But luck was on Madrid's side. By 57th minute, they were trailing 3-1. Los Blancos secured victory by scoring three goal after 83rd minute.

Roma could not be considered weak opponent this season. Moreover, it was their home match. Meanwhile, Mourinho is still struggling to bring consistency to Madrid's performance. Although Madrid scored four goal and secured win, it is clear that their performance lack stability.

On the other hand, Inter Milan were defeated on their home turf.
We are witnessing gradual decline of team from Serie A.
Despite being considered favorite against PSG, home side lost 4-2.

Manchester city were the underdogs in the match, even though they have stepped up a bit better, they were still defeated by psg.
Manchester city is unpredictable and PSG is reliable, so I wasn't all that confidence about who would win the match but then, when PSG scored the three goals in the first half, that was when I knew the end has come for Manchester city in the match.

PSG might win the title but the way the champions league this season is going, the surprises and the unexpected performance by teams we did expect should also be something to consider because thier performance rivals than of the big clubs in this competition. At this moment, we can't be certain about PSG future in this competition.

PSG has talented players who are determined to implement the strategies given by manager Luis Enrique. It is not wrong to think that Man City will win, but it was necessary to consider that their opponent is strong PSG. This team applies their own strategies in such a way that even if the opponent is very strong, they trap them and snatch victory. after yesterday’s matches, i took another look at the teams’ chances of winning the champions league. right now, the top three favorites are, in order, barcelona, psg, and arsenal. the combined probability of these three teams winning is over 50%. in other words, there’s a very high probability that we’ll see two of these teams in the final and one of them as the champion. the fact that barcelona is the team in the best form this season also boosts their chances. expectations for them are very high.

I'm not going to bet on the winner of the Champions League, the waiting time is too long and the odds are still small, although I myself do not know which team will be the champion, other teams are still potentially even though they are not seeded.

Bayern Munich are given odds @6.00 --- Real Madrid @8.00 in my opinion this is a gap.

Next week you will see the UCL defending champion team and the best performing team, the odds are almost the same, this is an interesting match, who wins can determine the odds.
