This match was the best match of the last week of the Champions League. It was very easy for Roma to win the match, but Real Madrid surprised them in the last few minutes in such a way that before they could return to the match, the match was over and Real Madrid won by a 3-4 goal difference. When the scoreboard was 3-1, I was sure that Roma was going to win the match and Real Madrid was going to taste defeat in their second match of the Champions League. But they surprised me too.

Even if they won the last match, it is not something to celebrate, their performance in that match was very bad. With this team, I don't think they can go far in the Champions League or compete against strong teams. Madrid will probably lose very easily against PSG.

After the end of two rounds, things are getting clear about which team is having good results, but the worst things are happening for Serie A teams. Out of 4 teams, 3 are yet to win any game, which is ridiculous for Napoli and Inter Milan without any point, while AS Roma is having 1 point after ending on a draw against Fenerbahce in Turkey, and Como is the only team that has won the first game, but the result in the second game was not favorable for them.
The third round is going to be played a few days after. Most chances are that all Italian sides are going to have good results, which will give them a boost. As the hosts, Manchester United and AS Roma will be entertaining the bottom side Slovan Bratislava. After these games, Napoli and Inter Milan will also have home fixtures; it's going to be a good round for them, but they needed to show a good attacking performance for having good results; otherwise, things are going to be at the lowest level, which is surely not good for Italian soccer.

Did you really watched the game? If you did I think you won’t be righting this and thinking that Real Madrid are back, for your information Real Madrid actually played poorly in that game and had Roma been way too clinical they would have been easily more than two goals up than they did. It was until Mourinho decided to make substitutions that things changed plus Roma then changed their playing pattern and went too defensive which affects their game.

If this performance was against another elite team then it would have been worse for them so i don’t what you watched that made you think that they are back. In fact the only thing that materializes from this game for Madrid aside the three points was the fact that Mourinho can see that some players like Espi and Endrick needs more game time than they have received.

Their game against Roma was a good game and I praise them for a game welldone to be honest. They may be exhibiting some poor form in the La Liga, but they’re really showing a better game here in the champions league which they’ve always been known for to be good with the game. Vinicius Junior may not be doing well now, but maybe he’ll pick form soon or else we will not see the best of this team this season.

With the way Vinicius Junior performance has reduced, I think it’s time for Mourinho to give a chance to Yia Diomande a chance. Vinicius Junior will be out for four matches because of his recent misconduct ban. If Diomande happens to pick better form than Vinicius Junior, he should be giving more starting option or a mix of them in the field to give the best results. Something needs to change or they won’t make it far this season even in the UCL.

We can see that Vinicius’s performance has suffered significant decline. This Brazilian striker has scored only one goal in eight La Liga match. However, it would be foolish to blame only Vini for this. Mourinho has implemented major change to his formation and tactic. They now playing in 4-2-3-1 formation. Vinicius has not yet fully adapted to this setup. Perhaps he isn't receiving enough support from Mourinho! If manager can strengthen bond between Vini and Mbappe, I think most of Madrid’s problem will be resolved.

I wouldn't blame Roma because all the three goals came from a cross. Two corners which were both scored with a header. You should know how difficult it is to stop a header.

Header wasn't  really the problem, and i will repeat it that Roma couldn't handle pressure from fast game. The only teams that can frustrate Realmadrid whenever they swith to fast game are teams with good record of possession or attacking.  Bayern, Mancity, Barcelona, had all been  there and somehow they've used this same strategy to secure a win.

Overall I expect there to be 6-7+ goals in this match. However, if we look at the match very defensively, then there is not much chance of goals being scored here, because if we talk about their previous matches, then there are not many goals in the match, like the result of their last match was 1-2. It is hard for a team to maintain top level consistency throughout the season, so if Real Madrid can capitalize on that and pick up a good form now, they’ll have a chance at the trophy maybe if Barcelona form declines.

For the champions league, they are a good choice for the title, they always play better there even though their performance in the domestics leagues are not impressive to talk about.
