Yea, France are a strong team and they have proven that over time. From there play style and aggressiveness, it seems clearly that they are more hungry and really want to win the world cup. They lost at the last world cup against Argentina, and this time, they would love to win. It's okay they win though, I would prefer them instead of Argentina who just won the last one. But for me, it would have been so exciting for me if we see a new winner

I'd love to see a France vs. England final, because those are teams that deserve to make it to the final, and if everything goes well with the Argentina vs. England game, then we shouldn't be surprised if that's the matchup. I hope these semifinals are the ones that redeem the World Cup, because so far I haven’t been very impressed with it it’s a World Cup where I’ve stopped betting; I liked the group stage much better.

It might seem unlikely to some but I'd prefer for Norway to win this world cup, if for nothing else then to just see the Haaland meme keep growing, plus Norway's performance has really been admirable so far and the same countries winning the world cup repeatedly doesn't really bring much excitement to it for me.
But if I'm talking about the popular world cup winners then I'd prefer for France to win over Argentina but this is all wishes and hopes, i don't really know what to expect at the end of each match.

I know this is already a long thread, but I can't help but say my opinion because I have long forseen a France vs Argentina final from the group stages. I think so far FIFA has been in more ways than one more favorable to the Argentina team , perhaps due to the presence of the G.O.A.T who is about making the Ballon 'D Or list and might probably win it, that's supposing they win the world cup.
France has the potential though, with dictator Mbappe leading with major memes across the globe and it would be a great site to behold for them and the career of mbappe who is still younger and has more years ahead in his footballing career.

You are absolutely right, the cup will just goes to whoever that survive the game, so being ready for any outcome is also important, as surprises things won't stop existing in football because it can turn out that people who we are rooting for might not be the ones to win the cup. So, for the benefits of doubt, its better to except everything from it whether good or bad, kos it also helps one to avoid unnecessary stress and pressure.

That's the most important thing in the game, we don't have to be totally bend or be too sure about a particular team since football can be very unpredictable. We get to stay prepared in accepting things the way they are so we won't be disappointed when our favorite failed to deliver as expected. Personally,  I'm not hoping on any team to lift up the cup because I don't want to tension myself unnecessarily if things decide going against my will, I just enjoy every single moment of the game and that's it.  And also, for those that will want to be little aggressive in their game's, I will suggest they watch their steps because thing's can go against their will and it won't go well with them. This is a likely case but I'm still expecting England to put up a strong fight. We might also see England in the final. I have seen so many people rooting for France to win the 2026 world cup and imo, that'll be fair since the last won in 2018, but I won't be surprised at the outcome if Argentina bags it at the end. The last dance for most top players in the history of football has been a moment of tears for some, but it may add up to build another young player's overall statistics and trophy cabinet. It doesn't count for the FIFA best player award (I don't know if the rules have been adjusted, especially since we can't even trust FIFA these days), but Mbappe stays at the top of the list of favourites for the trophy, so winning the WC, additionally will put him in the category of elite forwards like the Brazilian Ronaldo.

I don't want that final to happen because Argentina obviously won. The way they knocked out the Swiss was something I also didn't like, with one less player, with a supposed simulation. It's not worthy of a World Cup match, but oh well, that was the strategy for them to win. But at the same time, if we see an early goal, things will change completely. Both teams are pretty good, and they have quality... but the ball is round.

Despite all the controversy, Argentina are showing their talent and have reached the semi-final and will win the match against England and reach the final. The teams are progressing as FIFA has lined up the best teams and Argentina will probably win the trophy in the final match. It seems to me that things are arranged very perfectly. Although I could be wrong but I am not the only one making this comment, many football fans think so.

In as far as the discussion  is wherth we might see France vs Argentina  final  repeating  again just as it happened  in the 2022 FIFA world  cup, I think the Argentina  haven't  been tested  by a more competitive  country  team like England  since the tournament  started, the semi final  between  England  and Argentina  will be the biggest  test  to the Argentine  and if they can pass the test  then we may likely  see the France Argentina  again that will also depend  on the outcome  of the match between  the France and Spain  from.

We are all focused  on France  and forgetting  that Spain have also been  brilliant  in the tournament, they could  actually  stop France  because  they obviously  have the quality  in team, I feel like the semi final  might end in a different  way from what we all are think and probably  see a final  between  Spain and the England.

I don't really agree with the topic title and the OP's opinion. I agree that France has shown the most so far in this World Cup, but Spain is playing better and better as the World Cup goes on, and if any team has the strength to beat France, it's Spain, the current European champion.
Their match, in my opinion, is the final before the final and the winner will most likely be the next World Cup champion.
The second semi-final is weaker, Argentina and England have shown many weaknesses in their previous World Cup matches and have reached the semi-finals based on their character and mental strength, not so much on the quality of their matches.
I think that second match will be very close and that small details will decide.

Moreover, many players are available in this match meaning neither France nor Spain is injured. Therefore this semifinal match will be quite intense especially in the first semifinal. The second semifinal will be an even more exciting match as defending champion Argentina will face a team with a much younger squad, England.

Of course, because the composition of the French players is very good. This doesn't mean that Spain's players are not good. They also have players of the same quality but the difference is that some of their players are not yet well-known on the national team stage.
