I must admit that I fall asleep after Sporting goal and wake up already when game was over. So, I saw that Sporting dropped points only next morning. This result isn't the end of the world, but when you see how confident Benfica and especially Porto is looking, it might be concerning.
Last game before international break will be O Clássico between Porto and Benfica. I would give some advantage for Porto as they're flawless now and playing at home.

I think that for this game the biggest advantage that Porto has is the fact that this week they don't have any game in Europe.
Benfica, on the other hand, will play Milan.

Why did I choose the " Draw or Sporting " Double Chance market for the Sporting match, even though the odds were very low? The reason was that Sporting was playing away against an opponent coming off two consecutive draws; whenever bookmakers offer very high odds for a match like that, a red flag goes up for me. A very strong Sporting side playing away against an opponent that hadn't won in four straight games yet with high odds for a Sporting win? I immediately thought: "Something isn't right here; I need to research both teams further." I then discovered that Famalicão's two recent draws hadn't been against particularly weak opponents, suggesting their performance was improving. That’s why I decided not to take the risk of betting on a Sporting win.

By looking at the last five meetings between them, benfica has won twice, while Porto has won just once and they drew twice, and with the way both teams are in fine form recently, I just can't pick any of them as the favourite in this game even though Porto is playing at home.

So if I will be betting on this game, I will be going for a score draw, like 1-1 or 2-2 draw because the game is actually going to be fierce.

We can take the teams’ excellent form into account. I also think we should consider the fact that Porto are excellent at home and rarely lose there. So I would even lean towards a Porto win, but what puts me off is how poorly Porto played at home against City. I haven’t seen such a terrible performance from Porto at their own stadium in a very long time. Zero shots on target was a disaster.

Now I don’t know what to expect from them at home against Benfica. Hopefully they will play much more boldly, so I hope Porto will avoid defeat at home.

My goal in including Barcelona wasn't to boost the parlay odds, but rather because I enjoy watching the matches I bet on. Since I wanted to watch the Barcelona game that day—and I watch them regularly I placed a bet on them. Take the recent match, for instance: I bet on Barcelona again because I wanted to watch their game. As for the Sporting match, it went just as I mentioned: they drew and only managed to score a single goal, and that was thanks to a penalty.

Porto and Benfica are really performing well this season and they are currently inform which makes it difficult to know which team will take the three points in the match, but since Porto is at home they have an advantage over Benfica and win the match. So if I'm ask to bet on direct win in the Porto vs Benfica match I will put my money Porto. Porto and Benfica are both scoring, so if you are interested in betting on the Porto and Benfica match and you don't know on the market to bet on, I think you should go with BTSS.

And it seems like the defensive Champions showed working tonight, with the final score resulting to 3 goals to 1. I thought this game would end as a full-time draw but it didn't happen that way.
Maybe if not for the red card they wouldn't have been too exposed. Or we could say it was fatigue after the Europa League Competition opener against AC Milan. It was a beautiful attacking football from boths sides, and that youngsters with the jersey number 25 was magical, he deserves a bigger club in Europe top five divisions.

I didn't know who to back on this game so I ended up just going with over 1.5 priced at 1.30. That over 1.5 price was shocking because both teams are capable of scoring goals so I took it. Even when it was just 1-0 during the half time, I didn't panic. I don't usually know who to back when two strong teams meet so I use this kind of option instead and luckily for me today, there was more than enough goals to justify the selection.

Its going to be a long and sad three weeks with no club football. Brace for impact!
