In contrast, the idea of taking loan is a risky move not when it specifically for investment. You are right this is totally a dumb idea because I don’t know how some people do reason from their own end, like there are aware of what investment is and bitcoin being a volatile currency should have given them more reason for being risky but they intend to take a loan and invest into something which profits isn’t guaranteed. what the hell is wrong with some people
Investors who borrow money to invest are truly foolish. After all, investing is inherently risky; by borrowing, they are simply adding another layer of risk to an already risky venture. Why take out a loan to invest in Bitcoin—or anything else—when such investments can be funded through discretionary income? Yes, borrowing might be justified if it creates a specific opportunity to purchase a larger amount of Bitcoin at a low price. However, borrowing simply to maintain a regular investment routine is truly unwise. An investor who can fund their investments from discretionary income should never resort to borrowing. I do not consider investing with borrowed money to be a rational approach. To those who could invest using even a small portion of their regular income, I would advise investing in smaller amounts rather than ever taking on debt. Bitcoin investment is not a get rich quick scheme which you are sure of making many times profit on your investment on a short timeframe so if you don't plan to take profit for many years there is actually no need to borrow and buy Bitcoin. There is no need to put yourself under pressure because you want to buy dip or aggressively, if you don't have a reserve funds for it you should just concentrate on using your regular discretionary funds to do DCA. Don't compare your Bitcoin accumulation with that of whales, many of them can afford to buy as much Bitcoin as they want without taking any loans for it, it shouldn't matter if they will make far more profit than you when Bitcoin perhaps reaches $1,000,000, you should focus on what you are capable to accumulate. Bitcoin is not running to anywhere so instead of borrowing to buy you can work smarter to increase your income so you will have enough discretionary funds to accumulate more. Your point is really vital because if someone is trying to buy more bitcoin that doesn't suit their financial situation they may be putting themselves into financial pressures. Borrowing money to accumulate more bitcoin may seems to be a good idea especially when the price is going up, however this money must be paid back regardless of the market conditions or how the market may turn out. It is not a good thing to compare oneself with another investor, our investment should be tailored to our financial situation and not based on how much others are using or how much bitcoin they have. People should buy bitcoin with an amount they can afford and also have an emergency funds incase of an unexpected expenses. And that is why when. It comes to investing in bitcoin there is no need for pressure and everyone should adopt the rule that invest in what you can afford, because if anyone should pressure there self to buy they will end up pressuring there self to self you need to have a lot of things in place and this is why you need to know to know how much you can be able to spare when you want do dca and you also need to have emergency funds because that is one of the ways you can actually arrange your portfolio because the market conditions do no really affect you because you are buying when ever you want. And is why DCA is always recommended and it faster and easy to make use of so we have to be determined.

Yes it's quite understandable because its not everyone that support this idea of borrowing funds just to invest. People do see it as a negative energy stay far away. But then, I don't think it's as bad as we think. The only way I consider it not to be problematic to our investment is when we don't have plans of paying off the loan from our investment holdings since we will be holding for the long term plan. Perhaps, if we're hoping of clearing up the loan from our salary, business profits or whatever, that will be better. But what is really important is to ensure we are not paying from our investment holdings because that seems to be problem as why people normally avoids it. However, i know we all have the right to our personal decision in our investment, hence you don't find it convenient for you in your bitcoin investment journey, then you can always wait till anytime you figure out your discretionary funds then you can invest.

Anyone can borrow money but I do see it as na extra level of risk more like heavy financial pressure on the investor because he's thinking of two things at the same. How to pay off the loan he took to invest in Bitcoin and how to generate profits from Bitcoin knowing full well that Bitcoin is filled with volatility and we know that's not good for the market. The market is not a safe space because we're not certain of the market direction and where it can lead to next, more reason we're very careful in the market space and we know exactly what we're doing. For me, keeping contingency funds wouldn't be a problem because we have other means of income and depending solely on the available funds we invest, we should just get ready for losses and when it comes, I don't think we can handle ourselves.

We don't need to pressure ourselves to invest in bitcoin, seeing other investing in bitcoin and you want to invest also when you are not prepared for it could also make you to sell your bitcoin in lost because you weren't ready for it at first but just forced yourself to do it because others are doing it, i believe there are people who do so. To invest in bitcoin required you having other things giving you money then you can start investing when you realize that you have some discretionary income to start investing in bitcoin, and also some emergency funds to safe guild your investment from getting sold out incase of an emergency that may require you selling your bitcoin. Using the dca strategy will relief the pressure of investing in bitcoin since you could either be buying BTC by weekly or monthly depending on when you know that you have some discretionary income left.

Taking a loan to invest is not a good decision at all. Whenever a person takes a loan for investment, he is definitely investing outside his discretionary income and investing outside his discretionary income is gambling. If a person invests with a loan, then he will definitely be under a lot of pressure and if after taking a loan, his source of income goes away, then he will definitely have to face a financial crisis at that time and at this time he may have to sell his holdings. Therefore, the right decision to invest is based on the financial situation of each person.

It doesn't make any sense to take out a loan to buy Bitcoin if the goal is to own it for the long haul and it doesn't make sense to sell all of the Bitcoin one has if they made 33% because that's just a normal profit.
Profit and wealth go hand in hand. I think the focus during the accumulation should be on continual buy in not to look to make small or moderate profits. The time it takes to build a strong Bitcoin portfolio or to hold can vary from 4 to 10 years or even more, depending on factors like income surplus funds consistency and the investment strategy's aggressiveness.
However if you sell Bitcoin just because you've made some money, then they will start to become scarce and if you start to buy them back, it will get much harder.
There is nothing wrong if an investor decides to take loan to buy Bitcoin. As long as he’s not doing it with the intention to trade it later for short term profit and use part of it to repay, because that would be a very dumb move and am 100% against that. If he simply just wants to buy more to add to his portfolio size and continue holding, then that’s fine. He must also have reliable ways to repay the loan, but it must be outside his bitcoin investment. It could be from business or other income source. If he has to rely on that investment to repay the loan, then it is a very wrong thing to do. If he has a separate reliable way for the loan council, then he can invest with a loan, but I would not recommend investing with a loan even after that, because this type of activity usually creates a different pressure. Many people start trading with a loan, seeing Bitcoin as a means of getting rich quickly, they have the thought of getting rich quickly and that is why they decide to invest with a loan. However, not everyone is the same. However, it is always better to manage an investment within your means, and it is better to refrain as much as possible from investing with a loan beyond your means.

Small investors can profit but depends on two things; the amount of money used and the duration of time they can hold their Bitcoin investment, that's how long that you're willing to hodl because we can't put in money into Bitcoin today and tomorrow expect to see profit, Bitcoin isn't magic money assets, but it rewards those that has patient holding it. Generally, Bitcoin rewards you over time, and that's one well-proven method to be profitable as a small investor.
Yeah, Bitcoin is not a magic wonders, it requires consistency in accumulation of Bitcoin by always putting in that amount to increase the deposit as much as possible and patience to wait for even a decade+ without thinking of withdrawing. Putting in money this month and expecting profit next month or even months is gambling about Bitcoin which means expecting it to be magical. Consistency, patience and decipline to avoid the temptation of withdrawing (all of which is holding on to the proven history of long-term holding being the best) is the magic wonders of investors in Bitcoin investment. However, investing in Bitcoin requires a long-term plan and patience. Every investor should make a plan so that they hold Bitcoins for a period of 5 to 10 years and continue to deposit more to grow their funds. It is better if every investor does not sell their deposited Bitcoins but holds them for a long time and follows the DCA strategy every month or week. In terms of investment, it is most profitable if they can hold them patiently while maintaining their discipline. Those who invest in Bitcoin should follow a plan that gives a lot of returns on their money over time. Accordingly, if B is employed in Bitcoin, it will definitely provide financial freedom in the future and will give several times more profit than the amount invested. When you use the word “definitely”, you’re making it sound more like there’s a guarantee of making profit In bitcoin whereas profit is not guaranteed In bitcoin as you can also lose your investment in the long run during a heavy market crash. Bitcoin is highly unpredictable due to its high price volatility and at such even though bitcoin have the potential of generating profit let’s not also forget that it also have the potential of making you lose your investment during extreme market downturns. Invest according to your level of risk tolerance, treat bitcoin more like a high risk speculative asset and don’t be too profit minded so you don’t end up getting disappointed after you might have invested with more than what you can afford to lose. The thing about Bitcoin is that it can make you rich, but also bear in mind that it can also wipe a big chunk of your capital if you make any wrong move or overexpose yourself. That’s why it’s good for guys to treat it exactly as what it is “a high volatility speculative asset” and size their investment position well according to their own actual risk tolerance, never put in more than they can afford to lose and quit chasing around guaranteed profit that probably doesn’t exist, that’s how you avoid getting rekt and disappointed. We have seen 70-80% drawdowns happen before, which means there’s always a high chance that it will potentially happen again; this tells you that nothing in the bitcoin market is guaranteed.

We have seen 70-80% drawdowns happen before, which means there’s reasonably decent odds that a similar level correction or even a greater correction could take place in the near term future (or even in the longer term future) always a high chance that it will potentially happen again; this tells you that nothing in the bitcoin market is guaranteed. I agree with everything that you said.. but I have a wee bit of a problem with your wording in regards to how you characterize "always a high chance".. so in that regard, I think that your wording is too strong.. and above, I have suggested another way of largely saying the same thing without overly promising negative bitcoin happenings that may or may not end up happening. In the end, your phrasing is not wrong, and I am not even proclaiming that I am correct in my proposed changes to your wording - yet at the same time, there can be problems when we overly express certainty, especially when it comes to how we choose to characterize what may or may not end up happening in the future... and yeah, by the way, there are also chances that bitcoin could end up going completely to zero, yet many of us still invest in bitcoin while we know that the whole thing of bitcoin could go to zero (or close to zero), and at the same time, we also consider that bitcoin has upside potential that is quite great too, so in consideration of both bitcoins upside and its downside (of course there is sideways, too), then we can also recognize bitcoin as an asymmetric bet to the upside in which it is possible to lose 100% of the amount that you put into it (and perhaps no more than that if you do not leverage) while at the same time having upside potential, too. Bitcoin may well be amongst the best, if not the best, place for normal people to put money, even while it is not guaranteed to end in "profits."

1) Self-Custody is a right. Ya you are right, bitcoin is worth taking the risk as a normal person it also worth investing into it as one of the best asset in the world while understanding that nothing is guarantee in the market is what that can make you bear what ever happened at the end of your investment. Bitcoin is an investment that doesn't guarantee us profit and is ought to be invested with our discretionary income that is money we can actually afford to lose and hold for long rather than money meant for essential need and then accept what ever the outcome may be at the end of your bitcoin over accumulation phase.

Borrowing money to invest in a business you do not know when you will arrive at profit is a no no don't give that kind of advice do that it doesn't encourage small business owners to start looking for loans to expand their business or invest in bitcoin. The risk is much and your patience will no longer be there to wait for the right time to take profit in your investment. The best form of investment is the investment done with good planning, the amount you used should be your own capital you will not be worried to take profit unless you have no plans before you invested. If you have different means of making money you should avoid taking loans for any investment especially bitcoin if investment because you can invest today and not make profit in the next 3 months depending on the situation of the market. Your emergency funds is like your backup you can be making money but it has to be kept in difficulty because sometimes you can have shortage of income due to expenses when you need funds for emergency you run back to the savings it shouldn't be considered as an investment project.

I believe you should know that nobody will start seeking for a loan for the purpose of investing in whatever investment when he already has is own personal cash at hands. Most times lack of money or not being at a better financial position at that point in time normally make us choose such decisions, not that we enjoy doing it. But then, it's still not a bad idea if we invest with a borrowed funds with the hope of clearing off the loan with an alternative means. However, there are most times when we may be experiencing some slide dip in the market and dude may find it thoughtful in taking proper advantage of it. Maybe afterwards, you realize you are unable to met up at that very moment due to no funds at hand. Hence soliciting for a loan become the only available means and the only alternative that can see you through that situation at that point in time.

If you lack sufficient cash on hand it is more practical to focus on increasing your income rather than taking out a loan simply to avoid missing an investment opportunity You might have a secondary job in addition to your main one or begin a business . This will slowly build up your discretionary income so that you can invest it from your discretionary income. if you're borrowing money to invest it's a bad idea to invest based on a hunch or a guess about when you'll be able to pay back. Rather with an increase in earning power and investing in the surplus money regularly you may be able to buy more bitcoins when the market dips. This approach eliminates the need for a loan. In this way you can avoid taking out a loan and also enjoy the advantages of regular DCA and market dips.

I don't think folks should put themselves under unnecessary pressure by taking loan just because they want to take advantage of dip. A dip should only be an opportunity if you already have spare cash available for it. But if you don't have at that moment, then leave it. The problem is when someone start having the mindset of buying every that comes. Because of FOMO, he may be tempted to use money for important needs in cases where loan is not available. That is not a sustainable way to invest. Another dip can come later and If you have spare cash; take advantage of it. If you don't, just continue your regular accumulation.

Not all price declines are opportunities for you. The greatest strength of even small investors is not to invest large sums of money in a price decline, but rather to survive for a long time and save gradually in accordance with your financial situation. The money borrowed is not part of any discretionary income, but rather it creates a liability on your future potential income. When you go to catch a price decline with a loan, there are two schedules to consider together. On the one hand, the market schedule, which neither you nor I can control. On the other hand, the loan repayment schedule, which is fixed and stressful. Bitcoin does not reward those who buy more under pressure and cannot hold on to it. Rather, Bitcoin can be a blessing for those who buy according to their ability and try to implement a long-term plan.

I don't think folks should put themselves under unnecessary pressure by taking loan just because they want to take advantage of dip. A dip should only be an opportunity if you already have spare cash available for it. But if you don't have at that moment, then leave it.
Just because you see people investing during dip doesn’t mean you should look for all possible ways to invest also. You don’t have to take loan which you believe will affect you because of investment, make sure you don’t depend on your investment to pay back the loan, because if you don’t have any means to pay your loan, then just stay away from loan. After investing, and you think bitcoin price is going to start pumping, don’t be surprise that bitcoin price will continue dumping, and might not bounce back before when you will be paying back your loan. I don’t always encourage people taking loan just because they want to invest in bitcoin, always make use of your money, and it should be any amount which you can afford to lose, and any amount which you won’t be using within a short period of time. Some people that take loan to invest might end up regretting, because things might not go as planned.

Some people that take loan to invest might end up regretting, because things might not go as planned. Well as long as the person’s loan repayment plan is not dependent on bitcoin’s price going up and they have a reliable income source or some existing funds somewhere to use in paying back the loan, then it won’t necessarily be a bad idea to take the loan IMO. Although the person still has to come to terms with the fact that they are taking a leverage and they must understand the potential loss and borrowing cost attached to taking loans. If the person can keep their position size to around 5–10% of their net worth, i think that is a pretty practical way to contain any damage that may arise; even an 80% Bitcoin drawdown would then translate into only a 4–8% hit to their total net worth, which i believe IMO most people with stable cash flow can easily absorb without derailing their broader financial plan.

You’ve said it all Mate. The problem about timing the market is that you never really get to accurately predict the next position of the market. Many times, what was predicted to be the next DIP ended up being anything other than a dip. The market is naturally volatile and unpredictable, which means attempting to predict it or targeting to make a move might just end up being another mistake. Besides, what’s the point of targeting a dip if you’re actually going to hold for a long term and still end up being profitable at the end of the day?

People always make mistakes here when they watch others enjoy; they also want to join even if they are not in a good situation, but they try having a loan or doing anything that is going to be problematic. It has never been recommended because this can be done enough damage or you could never be able to recover this again. Trying to increase your sources and then having things that you feel can bring changes into your life is the best trading, trading which is always a risky thing that needs many factors before entry, understanding, or risk management, and also having all your preparation done well is needed. Never ever think about a loan for trading; it's a really terrible mistake. Give yourself time before taking out any loan for consequences because it's always good to do so before entry instead of after regretting that you have never had enough time and chance to settle things easily; trading can bring changes in seconds.

These are things I don't really encourage people to do because whenever they involved themselves into that they automatically put themselves in a tight corner because they believe that when they take out the loan they could be able to double their investments within a short period of space, but without knowing that if things doesn't go as they planned then they began to pay loan they didn't expect it would go that way. Of course you are right, anyone who must investment should invest with their hand earned money, and they should also invest with what that would never have effect on their head or mind.

Bitcoin may well be amongst the best, if not the best, place for normal people to put money, even while it is not guaranteed to end in "profits."
Irrespective of how motivated you are about Bitcoin, always ensure that you manage your risk properly so you don't take irrational risk that will land you in depression. Invest amount that will not put you in trouble or depression when it is lost and ensure that whatever you are investing in Bitcoin is something you can leave in Bitcoin for several years because you never know when the investment will be in profits. Also try and manage your expectations because Bitcoin is not going to make you rich overnight, it is not a ponzi scheme or one of those shitcoins out there, so you must be willing to give the investment enough time to grow only then will you have hopes of the benefits in the future.
