Honestly, Argentina was terrible till the last moments. The moment an opposite team scored a goal, then something was happening to Messi and the whole Argentina and they were doing an amazing comeback in just couple of minutes. They did it all the time, which shocked me because I wasn't expecting it all the time in a row. Honestly, their matches were so exciting that my heart was beating fast at every second another team scored.
It's interesting what they'll do in the next world cup because it's clear that Messi played a huge role in Argentina's team for more than a decade and we saw how he carried the team even in this last world cup. If they don't change strategy, I don't think they'll do much in the next world cup.

The way Argentina played against Spain in the World Cup final match was nothing like the performance they had in previous matches. The fans in the gallery tried to cheer them up again and again but they were helpless against the Spanish team's tactics. Basically, none of the tactics of Argentina manager Scaloni worked against Spain. Although there was a lot of excitement among Argentina's fans before the match started, they gradually calmed down and Spain won the trophy.

Guys I just saw on X that Cristiano Ronaldo is admitting that this yar will probably be his last year like after this year he will hand out his boot and close his professional football for the rest of his life. I know it's a bit hard moment of all of us that a players who give a lot of fun to the football will no longer here to represent the greatness of football......

However age is big factor and definitely this world cup make him feel more distracted and that's why he is now  acknowledging that I am no longer a young man and leaving a football will be a better place. Cristiano Ronaldo has extraordinary career like he came as nothing and give a lot to football and even made a history that struggle can catch every point.

After twenty-five years of an active and impactful career, it seems Ronaldo wants to spend more time with his family. He has won almost everything except the World Cup. Retiring from football to chase other areas of interest is such a hard decision because the game is addictive. But there is always a beginning and end to every journey. We would have to wait and see if he would take up a managerial role or if he would find other areas of business, like David Beckham. I mentioned David because Ronaldo has thesame personality that can build many brands.

Of course, everything is easier when you have a football wizard like Messi in your team who can solve the game on his own.
Argentina is truly a team that has impressed me with their fighting spirit and never-give-up attitude, and they should be congratulated for that, even though the better team definitely won the final.
However, I don't think it's realistic to expect Messi to play in another World Cup, 2030 and without him Argentina is just another average team and no longer a candidate for a medal.
At the 2030 World Cup, I expect Spain to once again be the main favorite for gold, with their main competitors likely to be France again and possibly England.

Well, form match day one to til final I was pretty obvious that only one guys is just carrying the whole team like only Messi were the man to rescue his team in every single match. He was the top scorer of his team as well as he was the top assister of the tournament and even he was the only man to create more chances than others. Except Lionel Messi no one was that good to defend his team like in entire tournament only Messi were the core point....

But still they got failed and I think it's okay for Messi but not for Argentina because Messi did everything with satisfied root despite Argentina didn't help him to win the final for him. He sacrifices his whole career for Argentina team but they didn't give him any good time.

It's been clear for some time that Messi is old and slow and that he's no longer as physically fit as he used to be.
Given that, the entire Argentine team has stood behind Messi, and organized the game and strategy in such a way that Messi doesn't have to play defense but can rest and focus only on attack and goals.
This strategy may seem simple and easy, but in practice it's not easy to implement.
Argentina managed to do it and almost managed to win the title in such way that speaks volumes about Messi's quality and how much he means to this team Argentina.
Without him at the next 2030 World Cup, I don't see Argentina as one of the favorites for the title.
In fact, Spain showed at this last 2026 World Cup that the system and the team are much more important than the individual qualities of individual players, like Mbappe, Dembele or Messi, and that's why I see the Spanish team again as the main favorites for the title at the next 2030 World Cup.
