If your time is too valuable to spend a few minutes reading the Terms of Service, then you probably don't care much about losing your deposit. The casino gave you a warning, and you agreed to it – so whose fault is that? You want the casino to pay developers to block registrations from certain countries, but why should they spend money on that when you can't even spare a couple of minutes to read the rules?

Everything works as it should. Registration is easy, the interface is nice (in my opinion), and I haven't had any issues so far. Maybe that'll change if I hit a big win – who knows? But for now, everything is fine.
You know some gamblers must have been going away without reading casino TOS getting lucky enough not to break the casino TOS or not being caught after they have broken the rule. Some gamblers can be lucky with this and some might not be lucky.

The lucky ones perhaps will think reading the casino TOS is not necessary for them so they will go ahead to use different casino without checking if the casino is available in their own region. All these rules are set for players so they will not go against their well documented teams should restrict players from over messing up things due to emotions. Regions where the casino does not allow users from should be taken seriously or face the law when penalized.
It doesn't matter how lucky you are. I'm just surprised when people blame the casino for a gambler not reading the ToS (and agreeing to its rules).
Maybe I'm weird, but I always read every document I sign – and not just read them, but actually try to understand what they mean. If I ever get banned for not reading the ToS, that's on me, not the casino or anyone on this forum.

PS. I don't like most casino ToS – they're usually designed to protect the house. But even so, I still read them to know the basic rules and avoid any potential issues.

Many of the front and back arguments are from gamblers because reading and diligently going through the casino seems like a problem for most gamblers. It wont take anything or it wont take up to good 7 minutes to read through the terms and conditions of a casino.  I'm sure most casino understand many gamblers dont read which they use as an advantage of gamblers. They go with policies that favours them more knowing that gamblers wont know about it because they dont have that time to go through the terms and conditions and whatever they decides they know lazy gamblers dont have options because of they dont read to get information of how a casino operates.
It is true, casinos are aware of this things and as smart as casinos are, many of them are looking for whom to victimize with this, and ignorance won't save any gambler from it.
I'm sure that some gamblers who has not been victim of going against casinos Tos, may not understand how casinos behave when such problem arise.
There policies mostly benefits them I agree to that, which is why gamblers need to read their Tos, and understand it before proceeding, the thing is, regardless of how many times the inattention of gamblers towards Casinos Tos has been discussed, some gamblers will not stop giving casinos room to victimize them.

...
All these rules are supposed to be be in there terms and conditions but then a lot times people don't don't have the luxury of time to go through all those bulky rules to be able to get the information they really want.
I feel like the casino should have done it in such a way that if it's not supported in a particular location then the registration processes and deposits shouldn't have gone through in the first place so the casino should have done better than accept the deposit process your bet and confiscate your funds at the end of the day.
Are you really saying that? So you want the casino to carelessly provide a clear, comprehensive TOS and move to completely prohibit access from restricted regions because you are too lazy to read a few lines about where you plan to deposit your money? This may be a great idea, but it doesn't make it any less important to check TOS before making a deposit and each time you want to move forward with registration.
I agree with you that personal responsibility and reading the TOS are actually important. But you missed his main point which is fair business practices.

If the casino has technology that allows them to track a user's location and seize their funds, then with the same technology they can also block users before they open an account or make a deposit. Allowing restricted users to deposit is a predatory trap through which they can take users funds with zero risk. Yes, of course, players should read all the rules, but casinos should also block all those restricted players before any incident happens.
Geographical blocking via IP restriction is not a legal defense for the casino, since users can easily avoid geographical blocks by using a VPN. This makes the terms of use the first line of defense for the company to disclaim liability toward authorities and regulatory bodies. Also, the casino has the right to let itself be visible everywhere for promotional purposes and not to forbid unrestricted users from checking their bets once travelling to a restricted region.

Ethically speaking, the casino shouldn't just rely on rules stipulated in TOS but rather block payments from restricted countries, show clear warnings before registration, or issue automatic refunds of deposits to avoid the problem altogether.

You don't have to support poor ethics in gambling. It all the duty of every gambler to make sure that they check the TOS of a casino before using it so that they can have full understanding of what the casino is all about.
The idea that gamblers may not want to read it or gamblers may be in haste to gamble will not be acceptable when they break the rules and they are asked to face the consequences of their actions since they don't want to understand and follow the rules at first.

But not all casinos that advertise this no KYC live up to their words, although I don't know if the actions that follow after a big win in some of these casinos are actually normal, because there are some casinos that would ask for your KYC once they found out you won some certain amount of which some actually use this technique to cut down their losses and then offer the customer a certain percentage of the money
Any casino that's saying one thing and doing another is fraud as long as you don't state it in your policy that KYC is required if by any chance, something changes, you need to inform your customers of the change in the policy and not to use it as an avenue to cut down their losses, casinos are making enough money which they don't even need to play dirty before they can be in profit.
I don’t think saying they are fraud is the right thing to say because most of them that actually say no KYC, state requirement of KYC in their policy. We actually don’t read this policy, since we feel it is too lengthy and no time to do that. So at this point I won’t just call them fraud because they used the No KYC just to attract more players.

What you call such business is no important because if it does not affect your money, you are well while what happen with the other people who have accounts on such sites, and even have funds there won't affect you too. So each person has to take care of their money, and to do that, there is nothing simpler than reading ToS, and find most important terms related to account safety, and fund safety after deposits and long term later.

There is no requirement to read all things in ToS because with searching, you can use key words and find such terms, and know that whether you can use a site safe or unsafe. Then make your decision to join it or ignore it, and prioritize your fund safety first.

It is wrong for you to call a casino fraud due to a situation that happened and has been resolved.
It shouldn't be your business if anyone could not read a casino term and condition and end up breaking the law. If you are one of the admins in such casino, are you going to admit that your company is wrong for freezing a customer fund because they could not respect the company's term and condition? I think that is the situation here and everyone need to geg clarity before assuming what was not in the picture at the first instance.

I think you are making a point about callings them outright scam just as you have said it too quick for that, let’s see it like a bait marketing than just calling it fraud and some gamblers might still see as scam because it’s doesn’t work in their favour, it now left gamblers to figure out how this KYC game works better, because main gamblers see no KYC on the homepage and then quickly to deposit immediately. It high time gambler to take note and just check what the TOS is saying…

Gamblers generally do not have the patience and time to read ToS. That is why maximum gamblers ignore this issue. And only then do they. Read ToS when they face any problem. Are you sure it is about the patience and time? Check the forum for instance, as soon as the announcement thread of any casino is posted, the first thing people do is to check their TOS to know their stand on important things like KYC, VPN, Multiple accounting, registration, restriction and even bonus and wagering requirements. That is to say that people are increasingly becoming aware of the importance of reading the TOS because it is what determine if they will be able to use the platform and get withdrawal if they win. What I can agree with is that people are reading the TOS but chose to cut corners. They are not acting in ignorance and that does not also mean that some casinos do not make their TOS vague in order to confuse their users.

There are many things written in the ToS including descriptions that not everyone has the patience to read, especially I don't have the patience to read everything. I'm not saying that everyone avoids it. Have you read the ToS of all the casino sites you have gambled on? Normally we know some common rules of gambling sites and maximum sites have those common rules, that's why we don't have the patience to read the ToS of all the sites again. Casino sites always ask gamblers to read the ToS, so they can avoid their responsibility in any situation. However, those who are responsible gamblers try to read the ToS, but it is not the same for everyone, different people take things into consideration in different ways.

Now I want you to see it as the casino is a business, and firstly their number one job is to stay profitable…and the reason for the use of TOS is for their own safety, and as funny as it sounds ignorance has taken charge in most gamblers' mindsets, some gamblers think not to read TOS doesn't mean they have signed in but as little as it is the moment you deposit, you signed in…Like you said, even after we talk about it 100 times, some people will still rush in, get burned, then come online to complain which the casino already have planned for that…
Casinos are doing business that will make them to make money from offering gambling services to players and that is why they have their own term and condition so player does not complain about being cheated when every of their rules have been arranged in a way that makes it visible for players to read what they needed to know about the casino they are using.

You can make money if you can play games that will make you profitable and you don't have to give up when you are not making profits at all. You can take your time and play that your favorite games and if you are lucky to win, it will put a smile on your faces.

That is the painful truth, most of us don't read the ToS and then bitch around when we think that we are being screwed by casinos. But if you look at it, and I'm not siding here, but sometimes it could be our fault on why it happened to us.

And then we blame everyone including the casinos for our mistakes. But when we try to open the eyes of that gamblers, they won't readily accept that fact and still play the victims. So it's very important for us to really take the time to read the ToS and then ask first before you deposit your money and play.

People don't have to read all ToS, and I believe that as users, nobody read ToS thoroughly. Except if you are a lawyer and want to find something for your customers that is necessary for an coming lawsuit.

If it is a ToS written or printed on paper, it takes a lot of time to read but with digital version of ToS, it's very easily for searching and saving a lot of time. With searching, people can find information they want to check in ToS without reading the whole ToS.

Unfortunately, if people don't care to search and check ToS, it's their responsibility for anything they do wrong later, that will result in issues for their accounts and funds if they broke terms in ToS.

Spend a little bit more time, take action more carefully and responsibly, users will be well.

A lot of the casinos I know are against the use of VPN for the reason that VPN can be used to circumvent geographical restrictions. Due to this,  even if I know that a casino permits the use of VPN, I will be reluctant to use it to avoid getting into problems because I have seen casinos that allow the use of VPN but did not hesitate to use that against a player when there was issues. Instead of following your suggestion, casino should clearly make their stand clear about VPN and restricted countries in their TOS and it will be wrong if  they enforce it without stating it in their TOS.

If a casino representative says clearly that VPN use is allowed, like in live chat, email, or a reply from here, that can help protect the player later if there is a problem.
So it is not just about the ToS, which can be unclear sometimes, but real proof from the casino that can support the player if the casino changes its mind later.

A casino that is a fraud will not resolve issues when they are called out or accused by one of their customers when but the issue between a casino and a customer has been settled and both parties reach an agreement regardless of who the judgement favours no one should call the casino bad names. If a customers money is freezed because of their inability to follow the rules of the casinos as started in their terms of service the customer should be blamed and not the casino unless the casino did not state it very clear in their terms. So far before we judge a casino we should look into the matter so that e don't fault a casino when the customer's negligence cost them their money.

As we are in the Spin casino ANN thread, it is worth clarifying about the use of VPN. Starting from your idea that the casino should clearly make their stand about the VPN use in their TOS. Despite the fact that the TOS in the Spin.io casino doesn't call out VPN use explicitly, users should be aware that accessing the platform from a restricted jurisdiction is a breach of the rules in the TOS about restricted countries. If your account is identified as operating from a restricted country, you will have to face account closure and forfeiture of balance.

Just my general opinion on the use of vpn on cryptocurrency casino that states that No kyc even though they are centralised.

The goal for the flexibility is to drive traffic from the community, so for that reason, I don't think that a gambler account will get blocked if they try to access such kyc from a restricted country using VPN, but in general is not a safe idea to access casino via vpn when your country I restricted.

But if your country of origin is not restricted and you want to use vpn then you may not have any issues with that highest is that your access may get denied if your vpn setting places you in a restricted region by the casino.
