What motivates you about Bitcoin?

How about we don't generalized it that everyone who do invest in to Bitcoin is doing that mainly for the goal of profit, this is because bitcoin itself stands as a store of value, some people can be in to Bitcoin because of the alarming increasing inflation rate of their local currency and consider Bitcoin a safe place against inflation of their value. People holding Bitcoin have the liberty of their own goal which can be different from the other person, the most important thing is that those holding Bitcoin should have a goal which motivates them to hold.

No problem if some people hold Bitcoin for the goal of "store of value". I don't say all people hold Bitcoin for profits, I only say 'most people', right.  
Of course, we can't generalize it because each individual may have a chance to hold Bitcoin with their own goal. It is okay as long as it is a realistic goal.
Anyway, regarding holding Bitcoin to deal with inflation, this is still debatable among people. Some people said Bitcoin price is too volatile, so it can't really avoid the inflation. However, as long as we can hold for a long time, Bitcoin price actually keeps growing very well although it won't be as stable as Gold price.

People will be always doubtful with us. Moreover it is related to digital investment. They won't trust us although we can succeed. So, why we must spend time and energy to deal with them. The best way is to focus on our own business, we don't need to hear anything from the people. We just make it as the motivation to work harder and make us to never give up. And we don't need to show up to them although we can succeed someday.

What motivates me? Well, for one: if war were to break out, I would not have to worry about finding a way to get my money out of the bank or even having my access to it frozen. Knowing that no matter what happens around you, your wealth isn't trapped inside a frozen bank account or tied to a failing local fiat currency. Long term Bitcoin output and Bitcoin fixed supply make Bitcoin logically anti inflation. But in the short term, Bitcoin can go down by 40%, 50% or more, even when fiat currency inflation is high. Investing in Bitcoin can be a silent financial move only if the person investing can keep it secret. Investing in other assets has physical visibility but in the case of Bitcoin this cannot be seen. So investing in Bitcoin requires a lot of maintenance. What motivates me is the fact that bitcoin has done well in the past and so many long term investors that were patient and disciplined benefitted from its growth. Of course I know success is not guaranteed in Bitcoin investment and it may not do what it did in the past. I just prefer to continue building my position gradually and holding instead of chasing quick profit that will eventually become worthless.

However, you can’t make your brother’s acknowledgment your sole motivation, because people’s opinions can change at any time and if one day he admits you were right, you’ll lose the motivation to keep investing. Yes, hard to beat indeed. But that also gives us the responsibility that we need to be more aware of the risks that we have in the surroundings per se. On how we keep our own wealth inside those wallets, and how careful we are in keeping the seed phrase we own.

Hopefully bitcoin does well again in the future… even better, so i will be in a more better position than folks gambling away their own for short term profit.

However, you can’t make your brother’s acknowledgment your sole motivation, because people’s opinions can change at any time and if one day he admits you were right, you’ll lose the motivation to keep investing. So you also need to have your own understanding and motivation for why you should continue holding onto it.

What motivates me to invest in bitcoin is how bitcoin works and it has grown for the past few years even when people try to bring it down, if bitcoin is not a good investment, it will not be the best investment in the world currently, another reason why bitcoin motivates me is because of how people can earn from it in the future when you invest in it, even if it is not guarantee that you can become rich through bitcoin, what i know is that you most surely earn from bitcoin if you invest, when you invest in bitcoin and hold for a long period of time, you can earn more than what you invest, it is better than saving your money in the bank for future use.

One thing I really admire about Bitcoin is how it has managed to survive several major downturns without disappearing from the market. I know a lot of projects that looked very promising during a bull run but the moment that the hype was gone, they were nowhere to be found. That same history and past performance is the very same reason I believe that the present price of bitcoin isn’t really what determines the future and so people should look past the price we see today and rather focus on what has kept Bitcoin relevant over the years.

I share my experience with the bank. I had a fixed deposit of 500000 BDT in the bank and kept it as my emergency fund. But sadly, that bank is almost bankrupt now. The bank is not able to give money to any customer. Because the bank has defaulted on a large loan. Now a customer can withdraw 15000 BDT per month. This means it will take me about 3 years to withdraw 5 Lac BDT. I am not able to withdraw my own money for my own needs.

After falling into this situation, I decided that I will never keep money in the bank in the future. In the case of Bitcoin, my Bitcoin will be completely under my own control. I can cash out my Bitcoin whenever I want. There is complete financial freedom here. That is why Bitcoin constantly motivates me.

You can imagine, you are now begging for your own money. Even tough it is emergency money for that matter, banks are not always trustworthy at all, because stories can come up when you are highly in need of the money, just like you experienced. It's good that you decided to put your money in Bitcoin because there's no way you would experience such a thing with Bitcoin. As long as you keep everything safe, you have nothing to worry about with anybody, because you are the one who is fully in charge of your Bitcoin.

Bitcoin itself is a big motivation.. for me what actually motivates me about Bitcoin is the ability to give people total freedom over controlling their wealth, money, walking without obstruction or relying on a central authority like the government or banks.

The technology is 100% working in all transactions nationwide enabling people to pay bills so fast and reliable globally in as much as one has a good networking system.

Safe guide against inflation : from my research so far,  I discovered that bitcoin operates with a hard cap of over 21 and above million coin ever created,  and more to come,  due to this development,  even if the banks cannot print more Bitcoin,  already many sees it as digital gold to secure their wealth especially when local currency loses it value. Therefore Bitcoin serves as an advantage which is an impressive development.


Financial Freedom: Bitcoin operates on a peer-to-peer networking system without a central bank or government in control of it . This allows investors to hold their own money /wealth and receive and send money globally using only an internet connection.

I think that just seeing where bitcoin is and where it has come from is motivating for me. I have not lost faith in it and I do think that Bitcoin has a bright future ahead of it. As more people adopt it and hold it it’s just becoming the new normal. People are still learning though, and countries are still in the adopting phase and tons of new users are joining the network both in ETFs and real BTC and it’s definitely promising! I hope we hit new ATHs this year.
