Trust wallet now offers prediction market

Was just trying to explore my trust wallet this morning when it suddenly came to my attention that, trust wallet now offers prediction on not just crypto but several other happenings including sports predictions, political news and so on and it seems they all started it this year which I don't know if it's a good move or not but it seems people are really going into it as the figures I see been stakes runs in millions so I had to bring it to the attention of the community for those who might be interested but not aware and I want to know your take on it.

It seems more investors and companies are beginning to see how profitable the betting/prediction industry has become and want to take a share of the cake, and it's indeed a profitable business currently if we look at the rate of people involved and the percentage of gamblers that lose/profit from it.

I have my trust wallet that has been sleeping for years, so I need to check whether the option is available for me yet.

And also I wonder how they manges to integrate the prediction market because playstore have strict policies regarding gambling, so they can't list trust wallet if it has gambling related components and also how this works when users from regions where prediction market is banned?

You will see it on Trust wallet if you open the wallet. I was only trying to do something on the wallet for a friend that said he is using it when I downloaded it after many months ago that I deleted it. The friend needed my help was the reason because I do not like close source wallets.

Prediction markets are not seen as gambling in United States. Google is in United States.

There are many loopholes that regulators in many countries are not seeing and this is just one of them.

Crypto service providers such as Trust Wallet are simply tapping into the opportunities the prediction market offers. They want to partake of the financial gains before the departure of Trump. It is actually a good approach, it an exciting way to know about news that can inspire the market behavior, I personally do not make out much time to go in search of news activities and stuffs like that, but gambling being a fun activity will casually make you know more about crypto and news that can influence the market as a result making you a better investor. The overall action is very smart and it will definitely fetch them more costumers.
It's not your regular boring wallet that just stores crypto alone anymore..

Prediction markets are indeed developing, but they are a wallet. A place that should be for storage, even though we know similar wallets also have swap or trading features. But prediction markets might be better not integrated into wallet features.
Some consider prediction markets like gambling, and others consider them different. Those who try both can judge, just like traders and gamblers.

Got the notification back then but I wasn’t that bored of the checking it out because I have already given up on trust wallet, not that they scammed me or something else but I don’t just feel the move to keep using trust wallet as I loose passion of it. However, if they have decided to keep offering predictions service then it’s a good move for them because they are also trying their best to expand their services in order to attract more users on their platform to covers a wider range of people.

Before anything else, this is not a huge deal because many cryptocurrency-related brands are adding prediction market services now to their platforms with perpetual trading. However, in the case of the brand in question, they learned about this through Metamask when they announced in October 2025 that they would be adding prediction market to their wallet, whereas the wallet in question added the prediction market on December 2, 2025.
Given that their service has failed as a wallet, why would anyone use it as a prediction market?

A post I just replied to in the forum just talked about how some traders are moving to the Prediction Market because the market currently is slow. Crypto applications are helping it and the effect is that traders are now being introduced to gambling because the moment they get used to that thrill that comes from the potential of quick profit, They may find trading to become more boring and start tending towards gambling or worse start approaching their trading as gambling making rash decisions and losing money to the market. i think this sis a trend that traders should be careful about because a habit or mindset that you do not have before can be indirectly introduced to you.

The integration of prediction markets in Trust Wallet has been in place since the end of 2025, Trust Wallet do not act as providers, they are merely an integration of Polymarket & PredictFun. Personally, I'm not surprised by any of that, because they really do need to have whatever is new in the industry.

You are wrong in looking at it, the one on the right is the expected result along with the betting capital you make. Let me make it easier like in a sportsbook.

If Yes $0.16 + No $0.83 = $0.99, it is possible to buy two and spend total of $0.99 to get $1 on any outcome. It is like arbitrage. But in reality, you will not always get such opportunity due to fee, spread, slippage, liquidity, execution price etc. And it would not be right to decide just by adding the displayed odds on screen.

hmm, I like your Clarity Act example. Here, it is not enough to just pass bill, it has to pass both chambers within this year and get President's signature, then Yes. IMO, trading just by looking at Yes or No without reading this resolution condition would be biggest mistake.

It is clear that convenience has increased a lot. But with convenience, risk has also increased. Especially if any new user think of it as easy money instead of simple gambling, that is when they will get into trouble.

A game can be yes or no and still have uncertainty. Just because it's just two doesn't make it an easy one. If we are moving over to prediction market in trust wallet, that means there's something special about the market I have not get my hands on. I see nothing bad in having a prediction market in trading view.

This feature made me forgo the trust wallet app  because once you begin it, you definitely can not do away with it except you have trained yourself to be disciplined and not over do something which has the potential of turning you to an addict.
Although I have seen it long ago but I never thought about it because I never wanted it to get all over me at the same time so self discipline is what I hold onto and will not allow myself to get addicted to prediction market just because I have my wallet app that do future it there.

It's still sounding wield to me that a wallet is offering trades like a prediction site, it is way out of what a wallet should represent, their functions are basically access to our cryptocurrency, just like a bank account is to your traditional currency, they shouldn't concern themselves with gambling. I know that some exchanges have also dabbled into the prediction market but theirs are quite understandable since we trade our coins on their platforms they decided to take the trading further by offering trades on events that are unrelated to cryptocurrency. Prediction market is trending and it's a profitable business for these sites who are indirectly offering gambling services in the name of prediction market. Left for me alone I would rather have every gambling activities to be only on casinos but clearly that is no longer the case.

I do use trust wallet, but for sometimes now, I have not accessed my trust wallet, and to be candid I don't really know the reason why many wallets, and exchanges are inculcating prediction market or combining cryptocurrency with gambling, and to me, it is not entirely right because putting your money into cryptocurrency like Bitcoin is an investment, especially for long term purpose, but when cryptocurrency investment, and gambling is combined, is a way of jeopardizing the interest of investors because it is possible that Bitcoin or crypto investors can be lured into gambling with their Bitcoin asset since gambling, and cryptocurrency investment are now on one platform.

It's all about money. Platforms have realized that prediction markets are becoming a widespread trend around the world, and especially within the gambling community, and they know how much money can be made from this. So any platform that can will surely try to provide a prediction market for their customers or users so that their users don't go to another platform to make their bets, and so that they can generate more revenue through this.

I wonder why you didn't understand such a simple thing and needed to ask. Whether it's sports betting or a prediction market bet, you don't lose money if your bet turns out to be correct, it is just that the odds will be higher and lower, but you lose if you choose 'yes' and the result turns out to be 'no', because you didn't bet on 'no', so you have lost. Even if you have the option to bet on both sides, you will still lose money because if you are winning $60 for a $10 bet on 'yes', and winning $11.8 on a $10 bet on 'no', you will bet $20 in total, and in case 'no' turns out to be the winning bet, you still lose $8.2. This means that you will only win if 'yes' becomes the winner.

Its a bit confusing which board this should be on since it talks about both a wallet and a prediction market. Trust Wallet is already quite complicated, and adding a prediction market only makes things worse.I used to think of Trust Wallet as just a wallet, but then they became an exchange, and now they are offering a prediction market too. It might linked to a wallet but since it's talking about prediction then gambling discussion is the right place it should be, although people disagree that its not really gambling cause there's no house edge but people betting against each other over the outcome of different events. However, since there's a bet at stake i see it as gambling. Your advice is valid cause the platform is not very secure so people still need to be cautious due to too many malicious DApps there.

This has been there for a long time, maybe you are just learning about it now. I first saw it earlier this year but I have not given it a try. They had some crazy events like those relating to the war in Iran, the war in Ukraine and some other geopolitical events which are not my interest, maybe that should be the reason I did not pay much attention to them.

The right board for this should be gambling discussion since prediction market is just like gambling.

Well, even though I don’t have the trust wallet app, I am not surprised that they now have the prediction market feature on my app just their their competitors. It also seems as if having this feature means an increase revenue stream for them. It makes me wonder if their target audience is the folks already using their app or to attract new customers. Also, I wonder, which of these platforms have the highest number of users of the prediction feature is it the exchange wallet apps, online casino, or the main prediction market platforms?

Trust Wallet is very popular so here is the advertisement mentioned, the advertisement given here is a poly market for betting. Or you can assume that it is yes or no, if you bet $100 here then you will definitely get $200 if yes wins and the same role in case of loss. But if you bet on yes and no wins then you will lose the entire $100, but in my opinion it is better not to join all these places for betting because there is a lot of risk.

I get Trust wallet is supposed to be an application which allows people to interact with smart contracts, and also with platforms like polymarket. But I am not okey with wallet actively pushing prediction markets on people who may not even been aware how they work and how to bet responsibly.

Let us imagine you buy a Trezor or a ledger and the first thing you notice on your wallet dashboard after the set-up is the fact you are being offered to participate in prediction markets with your life-savings or investments. It would be too invasive for my own taste.

If someone wants to bet on prediction markets, they will find a way to do it, it is not necessary to push it so aggressively.

It's been a while since I last used my trust wallet. And with this, I'm not yet sure if I am going to try their prediction market because it seems that they're almost everywhere. The wallets, the exchanges, the bookies, they're adopting it mostly. It's not yet saturated though and I think that whichever gives the best experience will be known to this and not yet to beat the two known on this one, polymarket and kalshi.

I just want to share this reddit post though for everyone to know, Do not use Trust Wallet for prediction markets. And we all know that there has been a lot of issues/compliant on Trust Wallet before.

The OP just given the warning on them and he suggests to stick to polymarket. Now, this gives me some trust issues on trust wallet. LOL
