This is absolutely ridiculous,though stories similar to this are always on the headlines.In the story and the video,the both individuals made everything clear to the public.She’s just pained in regards to the fact that she struggled with the man when he had nothing and only for both party to put an end to the marriage,her ex husband won $40 million.She is venting in pains and it’s actually nobody’s fault because it was after the divorce was finalized that was when the her ex husband hit the jackpot so literally the man owe her nothing even the judge told her she can’t help her on the matter.

If i happen to be in the man's shoes, I won't give her anything. The woman is biased, although you did not give us the full gist about the story. What did the man do, did he agreed to share the money with her? Saying that she gave up her career doesn't make sense at all because if what she said is true then she would have stayed with the man. although I don't know what came in between the both of them that made them to divorce but whatever the case maybe so Long as they have divorced long ago then she's not supposed to have any share in that money.

When does a husband and wife get divorced? A relationship ends in divorce only when it is no longer possible to maintain any kind of relationship between them. Gambling and lotteries are completely based on luck, the woman has no luck, so the man who won the lottery after their divorce was finalized. If I were in this position, I would never give any of my winnings to my ex-wife. Because it is completely my own winnings. Why would I share my winnings with her when I have no further relationship with her? I don't know what the laws of that country are and what kind of verdict the court will give. But I would say it would not be fair to give that money to woman.

Greed! This man is very lucky and life smiled to him right after getting rid of a pain in the ars, I am speaking from what I read now, so if this is correct and the story is real, I would say that this is also very rare to happen. I saw so many men getting successful after a divorce after working hard and focusing on their career, but nothing like winning a jackpot just after three hours of the final decision of divorce.

This is just wow…legally she’s not entitled to anything. I will say the man is one of the most lucky man at the moment, hitting a jackpot after his divorce , what are the odds. She sure did and that's why she's asking for an encumberance for the marriage that she's with the winner. There have been cases like this not only about winning a jackpot but became common with superstar athletes. I guess these women knows business which is lucrative by just having that capital using themselves and time. No offense to them but, when a toxic relationship gets to that and they're only driven by money and what their partner has got with their wealth. They will have a hard time finding the actual partner that they should be with for the rest of their lives. I saw the story late last week and it was pretty hilarious and satisfying
I would do exactly what he did. I think he even made a counter suit for wasting his time even after bagging the $40M

I think a thread like this was created before but I didn't know how they finalized the issue, but reading some post here I understand that the woman failed in the court on the case filled against her husband. If It was me I will not give her a dime because she has already divorced me because I had nothing and now coming to claim that she suffered with me. This is a lesson to women out there, you might be patient but not being patient enough may leed you to everlasting regret. I know about couple who break-up because of financial problem but later their partner became rich and they end up regretting. Am glad the man won the case atleast the woman will regret her actions of leaving that man.

Wow, crazy timing, if only the process was a bit delayed perhaps if would have been easy for her to get her request or demand but it's quite unfortunate that she left few hours after her ex husband became a millionaire, what an interesting story. If they ask me I'll boldly say that woman doesn't deserve any compensation even out of good conscience she doesn't deserve because her actions shows that she was only in the relationship because of money. We have seen countless stories like this.
The question is what was the nature of the divorce?What is a bad one that turned both parties to arch-enemies or it ended on mutual agreement with respect.
In the end, if this story is actually true, it is left to the goodness of the man's heart to do what he wants. In my estimation, there is nothing the court can do than to throw the case out.

That, that is a troubled woman! I was curious on the details and had to watch the video and to think that, she actually lied to the judge and when the husband had to contradict her statement she didn’t argue, I wouldn’t have proceeded above that, it says everything.

She said, the husband bought the lottery ticket with their joint family account before the divorce and then,
The husband said, he bought those tickets after the divorce on his way home, right after getting a beer. Surely the man was celebrating with himself and got lucky.

Then we have the divorced partner coming up to give meaning to every number of the ticket to further strengthen her claims to the money, that’s just hilarious.

She clearly doesn’t deserve a cent from that money. Giving her anything at all would be out of goodwill and nothing more.

I saw this on a friend’s status but I really didn’t get the full gist of what transpired between this couples. That woman is a gold digger, that’s the best word I think that will befit her. You can’t leave a man you’ve been with together for seven years just like that without a good reason to. Then coming back to want to share his big win is even more stupid of her, she just made herself looked like a gold digger even if she wasn’t in the first place. This is not even a case the judge should prolong but dismiss immediately because it is baseless.
