Is smart work really for everyone?

You've said it all, you need the hardwork money for starter, atleast before venturing into something you will need money so if you don't have anyone that can help you there will be some difficulty.

Even if you have a master plan you will still need the funds to push the plan into action, so it's better to be exposed to both hard work and also smart work, one needs the other to make something meaningful today.

The only way that hardworking can pay is if the salary is very heavy, and such works are not very common like others, they always require special skills.

You are right. There are some people who believe that only hard work pays, while for others, smart work does. In most cases, it is better for people to have both, as life might not always give them what they are expecting and both smart and hard work can be helpful to them. However, people have their own opinions on which one they believe will be more useful to them, as they won't have to regret their decision later. Smart work comes in different forms and there ar some that requires you to start by having money, this is the reason why a lot of rich people don't really need to do much because all they have to do is put themselves in a position where their money makes more money for them while they are asleep. There is also a type of smart work that involves working online, you don't have to be rich to be able to do these  all that is required of you is having a skill set that is needed. That's true. Some people still manage to succeed in life with their hard work, but just as you have said, it is good for one to be smart when looking for quicker results. I also think discipline is important because it helps one avoid making mistakes even when things are not going as planned, and helps one stick to their plans. Anyway, people have different ways of achieving their goals in life because some people may not succeed despite all their efforts. Sometimes, luck and connections are all that people need in life to succeed. But they still have to do their part.

I would start from the fact that whole phrase is just vague point of view. It doens't necessarily even mean that you could apply it in your job, no matter how "smart" that idea is.

It's a concept that you shouldn't work yourself to death, if you can find a smarter and more efficient way to do things. But thing is that if you are working for someone in a factory for example. It doesn't make much sense for you to figure out how to be more productive with less effort.

Because you are working within the rules you are given and if you give that idea to your boss on how to improve the output, that just means there's less need for workers, when they can get more with less.

People who start their businesses from the scratch, they need to work hard and work smart. Both are important, we can't only tent to work smart only because it doesn't work for certain businesses. We can't think that each business must prefer to work smart, it is just in theory. In reality, it can be quite different, I know it because I have experienced myself. I ever built my own business and I focused on smart work, it totally failed.

So smart work is for everyone not only for some person's alone. It's left for individuals to choose which of the two to follow.

Work smart while working hard.
Many of us want that wealth so we can live in peace at the right time. Fewer problems, thanks to financial stability and a retirement that will not make us worry about where we want to spend our money. Still, there are people who work hard but cannot achieve what they really want. Construction workers, factory workers, and a lot of employed people work hard their entire lives, and yet that is their limit. Wealth seems to avoid them, but do note that without them, these hardworking owners and employers may not have their great wealth either. It's part of the balance.

Smart choice is a matter of choice, because many people just work, work hard but they are not working smart, why? even though most of them still remain in their comfort zone of poverty.
That is why there are other people don't get the point were being hardworking is not enough for us to become success.

Honestly, I don’t agree with that. Even if you’re working hard, you still need to work smart. You need a plan and a strategy because what’s the point of stressing yourself so much if there’s an easier and more effective way to get the same result?
I feel like people confuse working smart with looking for shortcuts. You can’t just have a plan and expect things to happen without putting in the work, but working hard without a good strategy can also be exhausting or you won’t get good results. For me, both go hand in hand. You need to work hard and work smart.

I don't think one is any better or more important than the other , tbh. They play different roles, and one can't replace the other.

How are you gonna build experience and improve your skills if you don't put in the work to learn and practice?  On the other hand, if all you do is work hard without knowing how to work  efficiently,  you can end up wasting a lot of time and effort.

So to make it , you need both , and you gotta know how to combine them.

Along with hard work, proper use of skills and intelligence is also very important, it is very wrong to have this idea that only by working more hours it will be possible to earn more. The essence of hard work is never much, because a worker works all day and gets a very small amount of wages, but there a manager sits comfortably in an AC room but he gets a lot of salary, again a businessman himself does not work hard, but he makes a lot of profit at the end of the day. That is why it is not possible to succeed only by relying on hard work, but you have to work in the right place and not just by working but you have to do research where you will work hard and achieve success through planning and intelligence.

It is important to be smart/hardworking in whatever you are doing, it will help you to get a better result. Infact it is hard for us to assume that someone can smart and not hardworking or vise versa. The truth of the whole thing is that whether you like it not working smart still need physical and mental labor which is hardwork for it to be accomplished

Smart work may not be for everybody but there are a lot of wealthy people I know today that made it without working hard but they were smart so I disagree with you that only hard work can make you get rich, this is a generation that has unlimited access to the Internet and these days most people are working smart and getting it right. Everyone can't do smart jobs that is the reality. You might be very good at tech while some else can be good at bricklaying, both works pays well but just that smart work is less stressful and pays more. We can't be good at the same time, just because I'm a bricklayer doesn't mean that I can't be successful with my handwork. I have seen bricklayers who are landlords, they own houses and are doing well. It all depends on how you manage your money and put it into good use. Hand work is stressful but it pays well especially if you are lucky to win a big contracts.

Choose the job that you are most skilled at because everyone gives work to skilled people. For example, if you are experienced in graphic design, you will get work from buyers in your own country, you will also be in demand from buyers outside the country and your income will be high. The number of semi-skilled or unskilled people is very high because they do not want to work hard. Only those who work hard and gain expertise in any one job can be successful.

In whatever time or era you live in, you have to be hardworking, you may not find successful people without hard work or effort. If someone inherits wealth, he has to work hard to maintain that wealth. To make wealth sustainable, hard work is required, it can be physical work or mental work.

In my view, ‘smart work’ involves jobs that are a bit stressful but require careful thought, and offer a good time-to-money ratio. However, as the OP mentioned, wealthy individuals may, after working hard for a while, automate their work to some extent and practise what is known as ‘working smart’. For those starting from scratch, we could say that ‘working hard and smart’ is the best approach.
