Ordinaryly the rich dudes spend more in gamble than the poor but that doesn't change the fact that they are not that safe than the Rich in terms of gambling addiction. As a matter of fact the poor are more committed to gamble than the Rich as they usually sees it as a short way of becoming rich, and as a result become more likely to be addicted as they proceed.

However, the rich invest heavily in gamble when they're opportune to do so but you can barely see them chase lost as the poor does.

Forget about the numbers, we should be looking at the money aspect because a rich man can spend more than $200k in a month and above $1m annually. Even if you combine everything a poor man would spend over the next 5 years, it still wouldn't be close to what that rich dude has spend.  The wealth gap and how much they can actually spend in a week or month should be use to scale who spend the most in gambling.

That is obvious that rich spend more than poor, and it does not matter if we talk about casinos or anywhere else. I dont know what can we discuss here besides OP slightly confusing individual betting and society who gamble. Rich individuals bet more, but in mass there are more casual gamblers who are depositing more.

I can suggest to discuss situation when poor is given large amount of money, meaning he turns rich. Will he keep on low amount gambling, or his deposit amounts will increase greatly? And how quickly that might happen? Or will that even happen?

Because I don't think that their is anything to discuss here, since the rich will always spend more than the poor in anything that relate to finance. If like ten thousand poor people make a single deposit into their betting account with the intention of gambling with it, I can bet you that it may be only like three to five of them can deposit more than $1k, but a single rich person can deposit more than $50k into his casino account, just to bet on few games, if it's football or any other sport he intent betting on. We have seen that on several occasions, and drake is one of the examples I will use since his own is public, because almost all the amount has used to gamble are above $100k.

There are majority of low amounts of stakers than high stakers, 20 thousand low stakers can stake $100 totalling $20k a day while one high staker can stake $20k a day. This doesn't mean the rich or the poor stakes more than each other. But it says, the right deposit high amount while the poor low amount.

From statistics the poor sometimes do more spending than the rich when it comes to gambling and my reasons are ; because they spend little amount on daily basis and if this amount are being sum together they have spent  more than the rich. I agree that the rich uses a huge amount to bet but this happens once in awhile because they are not greedy the way the poor is and are just trying to survive by excessive gambling.

The rich doesn't chase looses the way the poor does and it's takes a longer period before they engage in gambling and mostimes their gambling is as a result of catching fun and entertainment not necessarily making profits and that's the difference between this two set of people which is not comparable. So I'm of the opinion that the poor spend more than the rich in terms of gambling.

That's also true, to know how many wealthy people gamble, you need to be part of their social circle. Since you move in a different circle, you can only judge based on what you think you know. And I believe there are quite a few gamblers who keep their hobby private. For example, very few people in my own social circle know that I occasionally place bets, and I think that's the right decision.

On the contrary, the number of rich gamblers may be relatively small, but they gamble a lot of money, and sometimes win big. I think we're mixing up two completely different things here again: how much money someone spends on gambling and how often they gamble.
And I wouldn't say that rich people gamble purely for entertainment, while poor people are always trying to make money from it.  They just have much more money to work with, so their problems can go unnoticed for much longer. On the other hand, there really are people on low incomes who see gambling as a way to improve their financial situation. And that's where the biggest problem starts. When someone counts on gambling winnings as an extra source of income, it's much easier for them to fall into the trap of constantly placing bets and trying to recover their losses.

What's much more important is understanding why someone gambles, how often they do it, and what impact their losses have on their life. And discipline is mainly about not losing control of your money, not about turning gambling into a steady source of income.

I believe that many casinos cannot survive in business if it's only $50 and $100 deposit gamblers that are patronizing them, after paying winnings and costs of running their casinos I'm sure that they will be left with next to nothing so poor gamblers are there to feel in the number of active gamblers. One gambler that gambled with $1000 and lost is more favorable to the casino than 19 gamblers that lost $50 each so quality beats quantity for a casino to make profit turnover.

I don't think that casinos are bothered about how many gamblers that lost in a day their major interest would be how much is lost in total, the total number of losers would be a secondary matter. Sometimes they come with more money and sometimes less, so they do not have a fixed amount for their gambling goal. Poor people gamble according to their budget.
