so many threads on dash right now on the main forum I wonder why the new wave of dark/dash spam?
An ultimate dash pump coming... maybe or maybe not. I see no pump coming. Only an instamined-coin that has more than half of its supply locked up in masternodes paying operators interest. Allowing those who own a large stake in dash to keep adding masternodes with their interest they earn, which is a problem in itself. While evan is going to move away from the masternode model (supposedly). What will those holding dash to run masternodes do IF evan does indeed move away from the concept of master nodes? If the model of the system changes I see a huge dump in dash as there would be no reason to hold dash. The price is artiifically propped up because to run a MNs you are required to hold dash and not sell them or move them. etc. I do see a dump coming though. Market depth of dash is 60btc on poloniex. Not much to sell into for a coin with a market cap of $13,000,000. Let's double that and say there is 60 btc depth on craptsy. 120 btc market depth for a coin with $13,000,000 market cap...says to me price is too high... down the price goes...

Masternodes will however do the work of quorums i.e. instant transactions (which will be on by default iirc) and decentralized API.

Here, let me Search Function that for you. Ring signatures are going to be implemented in V2. I will begin development immediately after I opensource V1.
18 months later, that promise remains broken. Just like I2P, masternode blinding, etc. And people think this goofy crypto-Carl can succeed where ETH failed.

18 months later, that promise remains broken. [...] Actually he decided to drop the ring signatures in favor of Darksend/Mixing because of blockchain bloat 10 days later. RC3 Progress ReportI've had some substantial progress on DarkSend and have figured out how to make our existing system as secure as ring signatures. Vastly improved security, no bloat (from the ring signatures) and without actually having to trust new cryptography (it hasn't been extensively tested like what DarkSend uses) . So I think it'll give us a HUGE advantage in the coming months. More to come soon, I'm going to start implementing this tomorrow.

If you are unhappy with the Darkcoin instamine, invest in something such as silkcoin, because you will be better off in the long term when SHTF.
Yeah that worked out really well

Funny, Evan passing on end-to-end encryption to use the AFAIK equally bloated method of forcing privacy through his pay nodes--that sounds like his normal logic.

Should I dump Dark coin? I still have less than 100. At some point of time, I was interested to run a master node, but I never have enough Dark to do so.

No one can tell you what investments to make, but I can tell you that it makes no economic sense to hold Dash long term unless it is in a masternode. There are shared masternode services which is an option for someone with <1000 DASH, but you have to trust the operator to not run away with your coins, which may not be such a great idea. Doing what you are doing, you are just being diluted and losing value by the minute (by the 2.5 minute-block to be precise).

Please don't trust anyone in the alt-section. This place is infected by people trying to smear and misinform about DASH just because they are invested in other assets. Most of the dash supporters abandoned Bitcointalk long time ago because of the childish trolling. You can find updated info here: https://dashtalk.orgIn any case, do your own research

Dash/Darkcoin spends the past 2 years trolling the fuck out of Monero, and you have the audacity to post this? You should be ashamed. Honestly, I don't subscribe to the idea that Dash supporters are idiots. I just think they are misinformed and have become misled. But to actively support Evan Duffield is unforgivable.

Dash 2 millions premined coins were 50% in circulation, but now is 30%, the current total supply of Dash is 6.7 millions dash.
Dash is down, but other anon coins are pumped hard, XMR, SDC, NAV. So Dash is correcting to the reasonable price. Dash was dumped below 0.01 before the big pump to 0.027, I think dash pump is over, and long term will be bearish.
