Windows 8.1 x64 Catalyst 14.4 sgminer-5.0-pre-release-2014-07-20-win32 X11
All I get is: Rejected ... Share above target.
Is this because x64 bit Windows is just too complicated for Nicehash or am I doing something wrong? I've never gotten their sgminer to work on x64 Windows.
Suggestions? I can't be the only one, right?

Need to see config file, not miner output. 5.0-pre works for many other people, so the problem must lie there.

You can try to use my proxy: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=611338.0It just needs java >= 7 to be installed (windows/linux: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html or Debian/Ubuntu: apt-get install openjdk-7-jre) It will allow you to use cgminer 3.7.2 with Nicehash through the Getwork protocol (since cgminer 3.7.2 can not be used through a proxy or Nicehash with the stratum protocol) : -Download and unzip the proxy package: https://github.com/Stratehm/stratum-proxy/releases-Configure the proxy: you can use the stratum-proxy-full-sample.conf configuration file from the proxy package as a starting point. (Default configuration is fine, just modify the pool list you want to use) -Only for Scrypt pools, set the option in the configuration file. -Then, run the proxy with the command line java -jar /path/to/stratum-proxy.jar -f /path/to/configuration/file -Finally, configure cgminer to use Getwork: PoolUrl: http://ipOfProxy:8332, User: whateverYouWant, Password: whateverYouWant -You can access the GUI with your browser on http://ipOfProxy:8888

I took a deeper look into ntime rolling issues produced by certain miners and it looks like that certain mining software implementations heavily rely on the fact, that default slush's implementation of stratum protocol ( https://github.com/slush0/stratum-mining): def check_ntime(self, ntime): '''Check for ntime restrictions.''' if ntime < self.curtime: return False
if ntime > (self.timestamper.time() + 1000): # Be strict on ntime into the near future # may be unnecessary return False
return True
actually allows ntime to be rolled 1000 seconds in the future! It means that every miner could actually be solving a block that would be valid after 16 minutes! But we all know that all coins have blocks max. 10 minutes ahead. Well, I am not a specialist when it comes to cryptocoins, but I don't think it is valid to simply assume 1000 seconds rolling into the future is acceptable and a valid block could be generated out of block that has time so heavily into the future?? Can some crypto-specialist can confirm whether this is okay or not (considering altcoins too and not only bitcoin)? This is good info, thanks! I've contacted Cointerra support again and I'm hoping they will get in touch with you directly to help resolve this. There's a TON of Terraminers out there and with BTC difficulty rising the way it is, services like HashFast EDIT: DOH!! NiceHash Sorry!! are going to be more and more popular I should think to maximise profitability....

Most of scrypt ASICs don't support extranonce subscriptions (sadly, ASIC producers have no interests in implementing this important feature, and it is only 5min work to pull from github) - it is normal to see higher hashrate swinging on scrypt - and it gets wilder the more orders are being cancelled or getting dead.

WTF, what's the point to allow your user to set diff in password if pool never take care of it ? Sometimes it goes way lower like from 0.001 to 0.008 wich is way lower than what it's writting at your site as the minimum accepted and sometime it's soo high it take more than 5 min to my rig to solve 1 share { "pools" : [ { "name" : "NHash_X11_multi", "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:4336", "user" : "1KSTYGj25RRQ5i1GNVUGTjUsSyZr4uSPiz.R9", "pass" : "d=0.020;p=0.29", "nfactor" : "10", "algorithm" : "darkcoin-mod", "gpu-engine" : "1100", "gpu-memclock" : "1500", "thread-concurrency" : "13188" }, { "name" : "NHash_X13_multi", "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:4337", "user" : "1KSTYGj25RRQ5i1GNVUGTjUsSyZr4uSPiz.R9", "pass" : "d=0.020;p=0.48", "nfactor" : "10", "algorithm" : "marucoin-mod", "gpu-engine" : "1100", "gpu-memclock" : "1500", "thread-concurrency" : "13188" }, { "name" : "NHash_X15_multi", "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:4339", "user" : "1KSTYGj25RRQ5i1GNVUGTjUsSyZr4uSPiz.R9", "pass" : "p=0.7;d=0.020", "nfactor" : "10", "algorithm" : "bitblock", "gpu-engine" : "1100", "gpu-memclock" : "1500", "thread-concurrency" : "13188" }, ....etc

NiceHash posted this on their Twitter feed about an hour ago:
"Due to heavy load on X11, min. diff set to 0.1. This is temporary until we get more server power."
That may be what is causing your problem?

NiceHash must be under a heavy DDOS attack now.
My price was set too high and my miner failed over to my second priority pool. Now, even when I set my price quite low, I can't reconnect to NiceHash. My miner continues to fall over to my second priority pool. That's a bit of an issue as no other pool has even been close to NiceHash for the past few days. Whoever continues these attacks on Nicehash should be put in jail. They are screwing up way too many miners and buyers.

Take it easy, we are not under attack (yet), but so many miners joined us recently that we were completely unprepared for the sudden hash increase. We are working on a solution.

Thats a good problem to have
I wonder where all the new X11 Hash Rate coming from.... Is there a new ASIC miner for X11 coin or something new going on??? Very odd that the hash rate went high so fast in the last couple of days

Providers: as part of our servers upgrade we have changed IP address of our main proxy. This is a long-term setting as we have now enabled dynamic scaling.
If your miner can't connect, please do the following (not necessarily all of it): - flush DNS on your rig (windows: "ipconfig /flushdns") - restart your mining software - restart your rig (in case DNS won't refresh)
In the following days we will put even more power to our proxy servers and, most importantly, introduced additional USA proxy. Stay tuned.
Pool operators: please whitelist our new IP (contact us for details if you need assistance).
Thanks for using NiceHash!
