We should take a step back, chill, and give Barwizi a chance to answer the questions.  Everyone, please keep in mind there is still hardware and btc invested. This isn't a skeleton company as we have real assets still at stake. No matter what has happened, things can be explained and the business can be salvaged.  Let's just give him a chance to explain in a civil manner and keep an open mind about the future of the group.

Why do i need a sock puppet?

sheesh, i post fom my own account. And the above screenshot can easily be taken out of context. I keep telling you to join the investor chat but you refuse.

{edit} i sold some, not even half of my holdings, and i sold some not all of my GF shares.

your investment is 0.006, mine is 0.2086. I invested x35 what you put into this company so don't tell me about losing money because of  YOUR FUD. That is excluding some of the costs i incurred in fiat to even setup some of the infrastructure.

I maintain my shareholding and work daily to improve it's value. the fact that you'd run off swearing and using big black letters makes me wonder what is wrong with you. What do you know about the time i spend working? What do you knwo about the nights i don't sleep? What do you know of my personal lifestyle? If i was living a lavish life, would i need to get down and do the work myself?

you've been going on and on, tell me, what have you done apart from invest and now post FUD on the forum? Get off your high horse and walk a mile in my shoes. I was here from the start in a myriad of altcoin releases and worked my ass off, talked to the right people and built connections that pushed NRS to the front. There are some disappointed people who have put a lot of work into this and wonder where the hell you get off saying shit like that and attacking not only me but the integrity of the group.

Do you think you the smart all knowing one? Hell there are people more invested in this than you, have you wondered what they did? They came into the investor chat and asked their questions. You pretend to be Robin Hood the do gooder yet all you've done is shit on your own investment. While you force the rest of us to take financial hits and work twice as hard to get back where we were before your childish tantrum.

If you are an investor, step up in skype and air your issues, get your answers and find a way to move on. All this forum posting seems like a desperate attempt to try and get attention. I've been here longer than you and I've dealt with many respectable members of this forum. My work is honest and fair. dont go off attacking my person that you know nothing off.

yo LemonandFries, I didn't know you had less NRS than I do lol

Incorrect, I invested 0.3 BTC, the fruit cake stole the rest from me

FUCK HIM!

First off i don't think those are the amounts in btc but more the % of the GF you own back during launch it was 1btc for 1 share.

Second this is for barwizi: i am concerned by this post as a great CEO would not attack someone like this i understand that lemonandfries is frustrating you but this is no way for a business man to act in public. lets address a couple things you just posted here:

1. this statement "your investment is 0.006, mine is 0.2086. I invested x35 what you put into this company so don't tell me about losing money because of  YOUR FUD. That is excluding some of the costs i incurred in fiat to even setup some of the infrastructure." in my opinion that is your job so congrats pat on the back W/E you need to feel good about it.  you should hold more financial burden than your investors you are the creator of this company that is your responsibility. Also its only FUD if you can show that it is, your avoidance of these questions in a public forum does not help your case. companies and CEO's make statements to the public and address issues publicly on a daily basis its key to staying transparent.

2. this statement: "Do you think you the smart all knowing one? Hell there are people more invested in this than you, have you wondered what they did? They came into the investor chat and asked their questions. You pretend to be Robin Hood the do gooder yet all you've done is shit on your own investment. While you force the rest of us to take financial hits and work twice as hard to get back where we were before your childish tantrum."  I can say from personal experience barwizi you have an issue with how you talk to people. That being said i dont know that Lemons issue would have been addressed i was in that chat for months. GF chat is nothing more than the people with no ability coming up with crazy ideas and ranting for hours then you showing up once a week to say hi. i was asked if i was trolling the chat when i brought up concerns on projects (noirlotto and your crazy rake you wanted). Dont get me wrong their are some great minds and great talent in that chat but the tangents and runoff topics did nothing to help push the development of this project.

3. this statement: "I maintain my shareholding and work daily to improve it's value. the fact that you'd run off swearing and using big black letters makes me wonder what is wrong with you. What do you know about the time i spend working? What do you knwo about the nights i don't sleep? What do you know of my personal lifestyle? If i was living a lavish life, would i need to get down and do the work myself?"  All these things are expected of you  no one told you to start this project no one asked you to stay up all night doing it. You decided this was a good ideal. You decided to stay up all night working on it. so you cant direct that back on him. He has been rude but you have also avoided every question asked. It doesn't matter how much he has invested, the point is he has invested so he is entitled to knowing how things are going. The GF emails we get are a JOKE and the info given their is vague and very poorly written. I understand why people are frustrated and resorting to "big black letters" and "swearing" you have been in and out of these conversations and are not public facing enough. If that is the role you want to take make it clear and appoint someone to be public facing like the PR guy we haven't heard from yet in this whole thing where is he sleeping isn't this his job?

All im saying is their is a reason people are mad and its lack of communication and follow through. My recommendation is to start directly addressing these accusations instead of holding peoples investment amounts over their head. They gave you money weather it was 1 dollar or 1 million dollars both are entitled to have concerns and express them. The entire reason i left the GF chat is due to statements like you just posted there, You attack the individual ignore the problem and redirect. you may want to think twice about how you address people as you are representing your company not your high school.

+1

You are all facing the same issue, rouge nodes that are transmitting incorrect chain. version 60007 is the latest and syncs just fine, please look in your debug log and on "getpeerinfo" in your wallet, find the nodes broadcasting the bad chain and block them. We realised that if we do a complete forced peer block in the first phase of cutting them out, we run the risk of completely fragmenting the chain. This update allows people to sync, the next with a version bump again will completely lock out all other peers. We made a mistake in the first version so we split the update into two, as you can see, some have working wallets and others do not. You'll find that most who are having issues are connecting to the same set of nodes.

Please block the bad nodes in your firewall settings

Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Firewall

then go to advanced settings and modify your invound and out bound rules to block the offending nodes.

Hi Barwizi and others,

Unfortunately I also cheered a little bit too early. After I downloaded the wallet and synced it without problems, I closed and re-opened the wallet and then it was stuck again at 2700 blocks ago and not syncing anymore. Also not after more then an hour.

To try and solve this, I took the following steps (which worked):

1. I cleared everything from my %appdata%\noirshares folder except for the wallet.dat file

2. I used Notepad to create a Noirshares.conf file in my %appdata%\noirshares folder. (if you do this, make sure you save the file as Noirshares.conf while "All files" is selected. Otherwise you might save it as a .txt file)

3. In the Noirshares.conf file, you enter the following text:

checkblocks=1

4. Run the Noirshares QT client again and it will start syncing again from the beginning. It might get stuck a few times in the end, but then just close the client and start it again and it should continue to sync.

5. After it has totally finihed syncing, you should be able to open the client again and it should remain up to date.

This should however ofcourse not be necessary and everybody should just be able to download the client and it should just work.
So please DEV's focus your energy on building a completely functioning wallet without all these issues.
After that it would be nice to get some updates on where NRS is going so we can all squash the trolling going on here and built a strong community again.
The last days have not been good for my investment, so let's turn it around guys ! Cool Cool Cool

also works with 250 check blocks

why can't you just talk here?

something to hide?

the whole point of crypto is transparency, that's the reason Satoshi even came up with it

the banks have screwed us over by doing insider trading

let's discuss it here in a public forum

why is it so hard? do you plan on pump and dumping again? do you want to tell me when the pump will happen so I can cash out?

Barwizi:

come up with the information and post it here

I don't care if your relative died and needed funds, perfectly fine by me, things happen and sometimes we need the help

I don't care if you had a new kid and want to buy him a DBZ shirt for when you're both watching anime on the couch on weekends

Just BE TRANSPARENT and actually do what you claim to do.

that's all we're asking for

from your constant posting and supporting of the project along with you being part of the GF list (I keep up with everything, I just post when I feel it is necessary such as now), I can safely assume with 90% probability that you invested a bit more than you could afford to lose.

Also, the fact that you are trying to get rid of some of your stake also signals that you are trying to at least recoup some of that money.

Your emotional state (saying I suck) and backing up this scammer almost proves to me that as soon as you can, you will dump your NRS along with your stake in order to get back the money you should have never invested.

I also have not sold that is true but guess what? I don't give a shit about a few $100, it is just beer money to me.

I've spent more money at a stripclub in 2 hours than I have invested in crypto

what I do care about is people like you, people such as yourself that put more money than they can afford with the hopes of hitting it big

I don't want to see you not be able to pay your rent/mortgage, I don't want to see you not be able to afford food
I don't want to see you being scammed out of the last fiat you have to fuel someone else's fantasy life

This is to warn others that anyone can be corrupted.

Maybe the project started out right, but then greed kicked in

Remember NEM's UtopianFuture?

Mr. No Envy Movement but we all found out he had a lot of sock puppets and he used them to enrich himself

Let's not become another NEM or let another scam pass by us without saying anything

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

Here's an idea:

How about using NXT Asset Exchange to supply the GF members with tokens towards their investments and so they can sell and buy as they wish.

I don't like the idea of an unknown CFO in control of the GF funds.

That is not very DAC/DAS (  Roll Eyes ) sounding to me.

And about that exchange you promised Barwizi? any templates done yet?

Barwizi:

come up with the information and post it here

I don't care if your relative died and needed funds, perfectly fine by me, things happen and sometimes we need the help

I don't care if you had a new kid and want to buy him a DBZ shirt for when you're both watching anime on the couch on weekends

Just BE TRANSPARENT and actually do what you claim to do.

that's all we're asking for

you sucks, no one wants to read more

sorry dude you lost more than you should have invested

it's not my fault we were misled, blame Barwizi for being dishonest

how do you know what I have invested? always just presumptions? no facts, be quiet

it sucks

from your constant posting and supporting of the project along with you being part of the GF list (I keep up with everything, I just post when I feel it is necessary such as now), I can safely assume with 90% probability that you invested a bit more than you could afford to lose.

HAHA, ingenious

Also, the fact that you are trying to get rid of some of your stake also signals that you are trying to at least recoup some of that money.

we know each other personally? I do not think so. but one probably they appeared in my dream time

true I want to sell 0.3 NRS NRS from the fund for 20 BTC per Share.
so I really want sale ... do you have a realistic loss.

Your emotional state (saying I suck) and backing up this scammer almost proves to me that as soon as you can, you will dump your NRS along with your stake in order to get back the money you should have never invested.

we know each other personally? I do not think so. but one probably they appeared in my dream time Wink

I also have not sold that is true but guess what? I don't give a shit about a few $100, it is just beer money to me.

I've spent more money at a stripclub in 2 hours than I have invested in crypto
great Wink you are a hero

what I do care about is people like you, people such as yourself that put more money than they can afford with the hopes of hitting it big

Barwizi:

This still has a solution, all you have to do is be open about the project and investor trust will be regained.

UtopianFuture did the right thing and admitted to it, NEM did not fail.  Instead investors regained trust after seeing such honesty.

It is a lot easier to be honest than expending all this energy trying to lie your way out of it.

you're an angel

again sorry dude, it had to be done

like I said, you are putting the blame on the person that you shouldn't be blaming.

first is yourself for investing more than you could afford and second the dev that misled you
