The 6970 should work, I've tested it. Could you post your command line options?

Tried with -a 0/1/2/3, no difference

Could the reason be that the system has only 2GB ram? 6970 is the only card in it and so far had no problems with scrypt/x11

The 6970 has only 2GB RAM, so 1 thread is the upper limit. More than 2 threads per GPU make no sense, too.

Noirshares Upgrade Process

Step 0 Dump Private Keys

Step 1 See if blockchain redownload is needed.
   Help > Debug Window > Console. In the console type "getblock ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffeeee"
   If return is Block not found (code -5) there is no need to re-download the chain proceed to step 5
      1a otherwise backup privatekeys type "dumpprivkey <NRS Address>" and copy down the output some place safe as this is how you will get your coins back.
      1b repeat 1a for each receiving address
Step 2 Shut down NoirShares, verify not still running in background

Step 3 If Block found open application data folder for NoirShares
   Windows default is %appdata%/NoirShares
   Linux default is ~/.NoirShares
   Mac OSx default is /Users/<your-user-name>/Library/Application Support/NoirShares

Step 4 Delete everything except wallet.dat(unless you dumpedprivkeys in step 1) and (optional)NoirShares.conf

Step 5 Install new QT, unzip new QT, or build new Qt.
   Allow to sync to block height found at http://nrs.argakiig.us

Step 6 If keys were dumped in step 1
   Help > Debug Window > Console type "importprivkey <privkey from 1a>", Repeat for each private key.
   (Note: Qt can appear to hang during import step this is normal as block-chain is being checked for address to update balance with)

chances are you are going to need to modify *.pro to goto the correct libraries before qmake step

So if I got "Block not found (code -5) "
Then I do not need make anything ? Just start new wallet?

It's synced, and getting lot's of PoS coins.

Only issue is that block height in wallet reported: 23286, block height found at http://nrs.argakiig.us is 23533

I've downloaded all the blockchain with no addnodes.

If you have a encrypted wallet you first have to type walletpassphrase <passphrase> <timeout> before you can dumpprivkey.

Guys i had the same problem ,just restart the wallet, and left it open some time until is fully sicronized, maybe you can see some strange behavior but it stabilize when its fully sync

Hey, I previously had wallet installed but never had any coins on it. I uninstalled the old one and downloaded the Qt zip. Unzipped, ran, it synced with the network. I then sent NRS to the wallet address and it is showing as unconfirmed and that wallet out of sync. any suggestions ? When I run getblock fff... i get code -5.

Edit: Removed all files except wallet.dat, re-synced and now its working!

I solve my problem:
1. delete all from AppData\Roaming\NoirShares  except wallet.dat
2. download new wallet and start ( wait to load blockchain )
3. that's all
