How do you know that it is WC that Wafflepool has to sell?
http://wafflepool.com/stats

I've been watching the stats closely. the 30,000 blocks are white coin. When they hit a new block the number goes up another 30,000 for the 5.4 million coin "mystery" coin. Also when they dump white coin you can see it happen on mintpal.

And WP has to convert to pay their miners. I cant see that much of buying power unless price goes real low. And what if WP stays on WC tomorrow, then another 6m coins.

Profit switching pools are coin killers.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I bought in at 2200 (ouch) shall i sell and accept my losses? Or how long should i expect to wait to sell at my initial buy-in price??
I hate to say it cause that's quite a loss, but selling now and buying when it's dirt cheap after the waffle dump is the best idea. Waffle pool is dumping 6 million white coins.

Yep sell em off wand buy back in after the dump. 92 BTC worth of Whitecoin to be dumped and that by Waffle pool alone. The panic selling that will occur by those who haven't realise what this going to happen will be quite devastating to the price. Probably settle somewhere betwee 1000 and 1200 sat I would think - depending on how much people want to pay of course.

When will this pool dumping be over guys? When can i expect to be buying back in at rock bottom?

Might be a day or 2, the pool is still mining them almost at the rate theyre dumping.

Thats pretty messed up! Will hang around on this thread for a few days then. Hopefully i'll get word when its time to buy again. sigh.

I see what you mean. WP just hit some moer 30k blocks and the unconfirmed number of the last "hidden" coin went up. Some moved to unexchanged waiting to be dumped. That 5m+ is definitely WC.

Waffle just dumped another 200,000 White Coin on Mintpal. Someone put up a 5 BTC buy wall but it was crushed by waffle and some other sellers.

There seems to be a lot of buying appetite still. The buy orders are placed irrespective, but gobbled up each time.

yeah but i don't think it will be able to keep up with the amount of coins being sold. still a couple of days of dumping to go through, and let's face it, most people already bought all the WC they could, they don't have more bitcoin lying around to buy up the coins that are being dumped.

Yeah, I'm surprised there's so many buy orders. That's a very good sign for White Coin. We'll see how long they can fight off waffle pool.

Yeah this is going better than expected after multipool dumps... if wc can put up with another few days of this the POS stage will be really fun.

i sent coins from two pools and after hours i was told there was a possible fork at cryptsy..
early today transfers were literally instant !

i have not seen any complaint anywhere and my wallet seems fine and all the pools seem fine so wtf ?

and if i mention it on chat they get pissed off and tell me not to talk about it..
all i was asking is if anyone else heard the source of this so called fork rumor and has anyone else had missing deposits.
so any idea ?

Waffle pool just smashed through some buy walls and drove it down to 1508 satoshis for a moment. They're trying to take it slow it seems, letting the market recover a little before another 100-200k dump.

This will work out fine until the market starts selling off naturally, then waffle pool will sell as fast as they can.

They probably then have a person manually looking at the market and selling than a bot just dumping.

I think you're misinformed. Wafflepool essentially auto-trades all coins as they mature.  This is often sized in block-sized or a few block sized sells.

Very little trading is done manually on Wafflepool, by my understanding.  Coins are sold as soon as they mature.

The WP engine won't mine more coins if there does not seem to be sufficient market depth to make the continued mining profitable at the lowest level it could be reached.

It is more likely CM dumping coins on mintpal then WP.  You see CM clear their unexchanged balance sheets in multiple chunks?  And Terk said he is trading manually in the CM thread..

it want go that low.  They have been selling WC for days.  These people saying the coin is going to crash are trying to scare you into dumping so they can buy cheaper.  These pools dump all the time so they can payout the users.  To think this is just the first day of this is ridiculous.  They did the same thing to Blackcoin, and once wc makes it through the pow stage we will see the price climb.  Plus the multipool will hopefully be out of beta at the same time.
