People don't get how cheap WC is. Initial adoption is all about marketing.

1. Got a great name
2. Good seed community and distribution (which is rare)
3. Can't be killed by multipools

A little adoption by people and price increase can take it very high and make a rare alt coin success.

If WC can't succeed we should give up on alts

Are there any other faucets then the one listed in the OP? I could take me awhile to get my first WC if I have to wait 12 hours between requests. Too bad I can't solomine because I don't know how to set up a pool mine.

When it gets PoS only big players will have good fun with it. As with any PoS big holders can manipulate the market as much as they want. Tho they need to do it in steps, as in pump-dump to consolidate themself, but each they due to having more coins they can push it more. So tbh it all depends on how much % of the coins they own and how much do they want to push, but they can push as much as they want. This means predictions are hard, unless the big holders want to share info about their plans...

Simply amazing how well Whitecoin is doing in this final day until PoS begins!  With BTC down nearly 12%, a lot of other major ALTs down as well! Whitecoin is up 12-14% with strong support even as this last and final phase of pool dumping is happening. People are just buying them up!

The next few days are going to be very exciting!  Wish I could buy more but I got my final 700k this morning averaged in at 1130.

No, stake interest is not from transaction fees. Stake interest will be the only way to get new coins beyond the 300 mil mined through PoW.

So the total number of WC will increase over time.

I think 10,000 is certainly feasible. But you have to think days if not weeks. The Blackcoin run up to 90,000 took from March 13th to April 14 to of from 1300 to 90,000.  That's 30 days. Personally I see a lot of people who made out big on BC looking for the next big thing, because huge gains are no longer possible with BC.

Buy and hold. It will move up, down, up, down, but long trend will be up up up.

I have just shy of 2.5 Million Coins and I am not selling anytime soon. I want to see 20, 30, 40k and more.
