Hello I've tried this procedure for staking:

You need to unlock the wallet, not un-encrypt it. Here are the instructions to unlock your wallet for staking while keeping it secure and encrypted

To start Staking whilst retaining the security of your wallet, go Help>Debug Window. Now select the Console tab.

Type the following at the bottom: walletpassphrase YourPassphrase 9999999 true

Replace the YourPassphrase with your own passphrase. (the encryption password you added earlier on) The 9999999 relates to the amount of seconds that you wish to leave the wallet open for staking. Once you have added this hit Enter.

It's not working for me..i keep getting this code:

Error: The wallet passphrase entered was incorrect. (code -14)

That means you entered the wrong password...

I just noticed we can still mine PoW, block rewards are 10 WC. Dedicatedpools show blocks still being found and paid for. Sup with that?

looked at code, important parts...

int64 nSubsidy = 30000 * COIN;     <as we saw 30k coins per block>
static const int CUTOFF_HEIGHT = 10000;     <cutoff 10k blocks>
static const int64 nMinSubsidy = 10 * COIN;     <minimum coin subsidy hmm>
else if(nHeight > CUTOFF_HEIGHT)
   {
      return nMinSubsidy + nFees;     <if above 10k chainheight return 10coins+fees Cheesy>

this can be good an extra set to secure the coin

20:56:12

getdifficulty

20:56:12

{
"proof-of-work" : 13.22051048,
"proof-of-stake" : 0.00024414,
"search-interval" : 0
}

not about difficulty im saying you can still get coins from POW Wink a few to secure it more... 10 per block + transaction fees

so market cap is not 300k, but it will continue to go up. PoW and PoS rewards. right?

They use "passphrase" instead of password and it must be at least 10 characters long for it to take

I'll be damned.  I didn't see them making one for WC this early.  I must eat my earlier words about not bothering to ask.

excerpt from hashcows

Note on payouts: As of late, we've been mining a lot of WC and AC. (We were in both very early, much earlier than the big boys). These coins are going through a fairly decent dump period, and we have quite a backlog to work through. Instead of just dumping them all on market for reduced profits, we try and hold some back for the right time to move them.

i like them a lot more now compared to waffle Smiley

Hashcows +1  Waffles near ZERO.....nice

well they were dumping as they went... i see other multipools saying they held on to their coins.... perhaps it is them dribbling them out.
