......

TradeOgre doesnt and will not accept listing fees, They will only list coins they want to list. Its important to note that Zano was listed on their own terms. The best way to get BBR listed is fill out the listing form on their site, if enough from the community request it then they maybe will list BBR also

And this deserves to be respected, does not happen so often these days.

...
As I mentioned earlier, basically I see few major options:
1. Add more listing(s)
2. Do development and take some improvements from Zano.
3. Hire some marketing group
4. Mix of 1/2/3

I personally think that more listings won't change the picture a lot since the project may look not actively developed. Marketing may help. And development of course, but I guess I think so because I'm developer.

Opinions?

i think in rather reasonable averages (absolute rationality does not exist for me), so i try.

1. medium of three listings (at this time), at least two, preferably not more than four. I know stex and btc-alpha at this time. So i see a light pressure for a third one. (I like coinex, altilly, and southxchange)

2. not enough expertise for this. Economically the code has to deescalate deflections (example is the heavily fluctuant historic decred stake reward after launch, or the heavy fluctuation of transfer fees of the bitcoin (NOT their amount), they are a sign of deficiency in coding decisions), and to give small instances a light advantage to big instances (in mining/minting for example).

3. In my opinion less important, better is recommendation. If done then be neutral, concentrate on Boolberries advantages, and never make poor other competing crypto-currencies.

1./ Exchanges- Stex & Alpha KYC so I'd recommend a non KYC for a privacy coin like TradeOgre (Listings by community requests) or maybe Qtrade another non KYC that only lists quality/heavy developed coins/projects or any others that have genuine volume and no required daily trading volume that only increases volume bots etc...

2. I think we have covered boss, so the fork choice rule (https://github.com/hyle-team/docs/blob/master/zano/PoS_Analysis_and_improvements_proposal.pdf) PT II: Fluctiation of fee's  vs BTC/cost basis/weight, not sure I'm understanding your question, appreciate more info or feedback, thx.

3. Well this might be the bit I break your heart on BBR, much like me you seem to have made an emotional attachment to BBR, yet it's simply a version of the same guy's code. So we started with the original CN protocol and design, then we had boolberry with major improvements over and above any other CN at that time including @alias, pruning of blockchain, a GUI (yes back then it was a rarity, well for some anyway). Now we have zano with asynchronous core multi-sig, escrow, E-Commerce on chain, & many more future improvements and enhancements, all made a lot easier and streamlined having the original coders continue to improve their own code rather than have 100 contributors that don't add any value or improvements.
Zano is no "poor other competing crypto-currency" you could not be further from reality. It's leaps and bounds better, most likely to go on to spur another 300+ forks in a few years or 6 months by the needy needing another turn!

IMPROVE THE WALLET--

Nothing really major, but the current wallet does not display the version.  It does not need a major upgrade, just see if you can improve what it is.  Cosmetics, check the code for tiny flaws.       --scryptr

P.S.-  Please get the coin listed on TradeOgre alongside Zano.  If there are requirements for BBR enthusiasts, please post them here.  Any other exchange listings would be a great achievement as well.       --scryptr

It seems btc-alpha is delisting some coins, BBR is one of them. STEX is running, but with KYC only. Time to search for a new exchange.

BOOLBERRY SHOULD BE LISTED ON TRADEOGRE--

I have read that there is no fee involved in listing a coin on TradeOgre.  However, it may require a group effort.

Zano is listed on TradeOgre, it would be good to keep the classic BoolBerry on the same exchange.  Easier for the developer to keep track of his older project, at least.

Boolberry is a low-energy, low-stress coin.  I mine it with my 750ti cards, and they are very efficient even today.

Please suggest any other decent exchange you may be familiar with.       --scryptr

TradeOgr don't list for a fee to my knowledge.
Zano got listed there because Zano community been active on that, and been reaching out exchange.
I guess this is what the Boolberry community supposed to do.

On btc-alpha there are happening mysterious things: bbr, dash, zec are available again, but ltc vanished. Watching it, be careful. If anybody has information about it, tell please.

I think boolberry needs some new original shiny feature(s) to get it out of its oblivion. I do not know which these features are, sorry Smiley. Though bitcoin is old and not to much advanced still it is the most popular...
Most cryptocoin people are not nerds _sorry Smiley_ . They do not care about discusing some code advantages. They just see hype. They are emotional!

Anyway to be honest, about 2 years ago now, when I just heard about Zoidberg`s new project start (zano) my first thought was - boolberry is doomed. No offence meant.

Hello fellow boolberrians!

For those who missed it, yesterday we had our first live interview ever of zoidberg with Seth Estrada over youtube, you can watch it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcqRbLnZ_vQ&t=1s

Hope you like it, you can actually put a face over his name for the first time!

THANKS FOR AN INTERESTING POST! --

I check this thread daily; your post was a breath of fresh air!  On a heavier note, it is sad to watch the hashrate for BoolBerry decline.  The coin needs some perks.  A new exchange is my idea for better circulation.

TradeOgre will list a coin without taking a fee.  There is a "New Coin" application form downloadable on the exchange site, more miners should fill one out.  BoolBerry (BBR) was worth over a dollar per coin not so long ago.  There was a lot of trade activity on STEX prior to the launch of Zano.

Just posting here is enough to stimulate some interest.  BBR's "wildkeccak" is a low-energy algorithm and minable with GTX 750ti cards.  The 750ti rig that I have is nearly silent, and sips electricity.  The coin is just too good to let it slip into oblivion.

Knock on TradeOgre's door, get BoolBerry listed!       --scryptr

Thanks for being a fan of BBR, i've been one as well for quite a long time, i've mined this for quite a while, sold some, purchased some, did mistakes and so on....

As for TradeOrgre, they are quite hard to reach, zano tried for months and all of a sudden they listed us.  They don't really follow any requests or anything, they just do what they want to do.  Beside that BBR is mostly on maintance and won't get any more development to it, unless its about fixing issues.  Devs said in the past that they might import some little features from zano to bbr if those had a good impact and was easy to migrate.  But codebase of zano and bbr are now quite different and devs have their hands full over zano with protocol upgrade being the largest incoming features (with the hire of Anton for this), the focus is really over bringing privacy to higher grounds.

Probably scratchpad size overlapped in miner, what miner are you using?

I appear to have 5000 bbr on poloniex I had wanted to turn them into zano but poloniex wouldn't let me take them out and didnt reply to my messages.

Is bbr still going to exist and is it worth me attempting to keep hassle polo to let me withdraw?

We maintain the network and seed servers. But i can't tell for Poloneix if they ever let your coins go.
