Do all the investors in each of groups 2, 3, and 4 get the same amount, or does the amount that they get based on how much BTC they gave vs how much is total in each group.  I would assume it's based on how much they gave vs the total but I didn't see that clearly stated (or at least I missed it)

The highest can get the 100,000,000? There are more than 100,000,000  Huh
It is propotional. You can check the spreadsheet to see the NFD/BTC rate. If an account has more than 100'000'000 iin the spreadsheet, than this is just temporarily. Noone will get paid more than 100 M!

@NFDcoin - the 0.0001 btc I sent to you was for the free giveaway, not for the category2. I will send you a separate btc for the category2 later. I think all other 0.0001 btc sent you also were for freegiveaway. Otherwise it does not make sense. Thanks.

Hey tobo.

You were added to both categories. If you invest more in the second category, then it will just be added to the 0,0001 BTC Smiley

whats the upper limit of btc investment?

For category 2 --> 0.1 BTC
For category 3 --> 1 BTC
For category 4 --> none.

There is also no total BTC cap, only a 100 M per person cap (that hopefully won't be reached by anyone!!)

can i send from exchange?

yes. Just make sure you send me the hash and the transaction ID fast. If someone claims your payment before you do, it will be much work to figure everything out!

so I have a question. If someone were to send 1.01 BTC would they be included in just the >1 btc category or would they be included in all three categories?

No!

Each category is seperate. This is because if someone has only little BTC to invest, he has still a good chance of getting many coins in category 2. But he has no chance of entering category 4.

My guess is, that in the end, the NFD per satoshi invested will be the highest in category 2 then category 3 and the worst in category 4!

But you can enter all three categories if you send to all of them Wink (But you can never get more than 100M, even if you send maximum in all three categories)

How long does the giveaway last?

Till the end of the IPO. This is the may 10th at 23:59 UTC

PS: Because noone wrote to an escrow yet, I did it myself and messaged Anon136!

excellent answer and great reasoning. I like where you're going with this.
Another question, how would you know which category i would want to be in if someone sent .1 btc?

There is a seperate BTC address for each category. They can be found in the opening post.

@all The posts needed to join is now 50! If you don't have 50 posts, you can either make 50 posts until the 10th may or send 0,0015 BTC to the address on the opening posts. All those BTC will be sent to Seans outpost!!

PS: Can't send any messages for a while!

I hope the amount of BTC invested will take care of that. So that it will be way to expensive for someone to get more than 100 M! Also most of the investments will be tied to a bitcoin talk account. (Even if many are marked anon, I know who sent them) But yes, it will always be possible to game the system. Everyone has a brother, sister, mother, friends ect... can't do anything about abuse, but design the system in a way, that the abuse don't hurt the honest people to much! (That is why I made the category system. It looks complicated, but it is very good for small investors!)

it doesnt look complicated to me, and thats why im worrying that you'll have to change the rules or someone IS going to get over 100M
with the current rules you'll need to get OVER 6 btc in order to guarentee that nobody will get over 100M

Ahh, now I get what you want to know. If the spreadsheet says, that someone will get >100M than this is just the way the calculation works. But it is capped at 100M. I will not add more than 100M to that persons genesisblock transaction!

If lets say in category 4, at the end of the investment period only 4 BTC are invested, than all those 4 will get 100M and the remaining 100M will be put into bounty account, and this account will be given to a treasurer!

Hope that clears everything.
