As I understand, all options for running POS minnting will remain the same as now.
To do this, an no need static IP as need for run MN.
Only the requirement for the launch mode will change, -  (24 hours a day)

What I can share ATM is that it will be generating stake profits a bit higher compared to standard PoS, again depending on the number of active masternodes.
PoS system we have all been using so far will be still available so you ll be able to run it independently or in addition to masternodes.
The main requirement for one single node will be 10k DMD and static IP address.
PoW will be removed once masternodes re in place. If you still want to mine, you ll be able to do that using DMD multipool option.

So, just be patient a bit more, you ll all be informed about details soon.

so u can move all MN rewards forward to ur POS wallet/address

interesting concept while MN requirements are low this device suit the needs for sure
but make sure u run this MN like a VPS masternode without real coins inside keep the coins at control wallet
that someone just steal ur solar panel that is outside ur house including the raspy is a possible risc
but with a empty wallet.dat inside the loss is less dramatic

in 1 or 2 years it might happen that DMD MN get increased requirements like bigger hdd space or some minimum compute abilities
because its a possibility we add some kind of  decentralized storage ability onto the DMD masternode network too
as basis for additional services

this just as a warning that we cant guarantee forever that a raspi will be strong enough to be a MN

for sure it will be always strong enough to be a POS node

In other words, you ll be able to get reward coins from your masternode and then them to your PoS wallet to stake at current stake rate of 25%. By doing this, you get dual benefits from your coins. Can it be better then this?

About dedicated home IP for MN
I read on one forum that having a dedicated IP you are in fact becoming a potential victim of various attacks with a very high risk.

Having MN and dedicated IP is actually a death sentence for your computer and all your coins.

One user wrote that when the dedicated IP was activated, he had a persistent infection a few minutes later with all known Wana decrypt0r 2.0 worm
While he did not even launch the browser and did not download files from the network!
Yes, it was a vulnerability in Windows and it was able to remove it with the help of Windows updates.

In this situation, I would not have decided to run MN, because the viruses are improving and new ones are appearing.
It is necessary that you come to this issue very seriously!

I think you need to find another solution for dedicated IP for Windows users.

It will be extremely cruel to lose all of your coins because of this dedicated IP.

This is a normal solution.
For a dedicated IP, there is always an alternative.
These are paid proxy addresses or VPN, VPS service

VPS s an option, very easy to set up, basically it s like accessing another computer via Teamviewer. You see another screen with everything you install on that machine, including any security software you might require. It s quite cheap and something I really like to use.

Do not worry about this, there will be a detailed guide prepared for all this. DMD team highly value our community, that s why this coin is strong and it will become even stronger. Nobody will be left behind. Just make sure to acquire and store every single coin you can. We ve doubled in price in a period of about a year time. I m sure we ll do this again.....and again!

Well, there s still time. Especially if you re able to use several services DMD can offer.

1. You can buy some DMD coins via Bittrex. Another exchange will be available very soon.  

2. You can invest into DMD cloudmining option which pays in DMD. Make sure you understand what we offer here is not even close to cloudmining options Genesis Mining or Hashflare offer, for example. It is MUCH, MUCH more advanced investment option which does not depend on standard mining difficulty. Until you get your ROI back, your payments are privileged, since it s our intention to help out our community grow and make money. After you get your ROI back, you continue getting paid standard rate. I did reach ROI long time ago, it s a long term investment but it is a very nice one.

3. If you have a mining RIG or an unused GPU, you can start using DMD multipool via Nicehash. This way you mine whatever coin you select using Nicehash software and you get paid in DMD.

4. Masternodes and PoS income. ATM, we have a standard PoS wallet which generates 25% interest per year. Very soon, more advanced masternode option will be included as well while retaining a bit modified PoS option where the blockreward is the same no matter who finds the block, which means having more coins is like having more hashrate, more coins provide a higher chance to find a block. What will be a preferable choice for most of us is to start running masternodes and then send receipts from masternodes to our PoS wallets to continue staking. This way, you can profit from masternodes and from PoS, but same coins cannot both at the same time.

5. DMD price and scarcity. Well, there s not much to be said here. DMD s scarce, which makes it valuable. I personally think we can go much higher then current price. 

All in all, we ve been waiting years to get here and from here on, I expect great things for DMD.

Have a good look at the fitness for the future in your design. I used to run the stock diamondd on an old Asus netbook with 750MB of RAM and tuned slackware. A resync has become close to impossible now for the poor little thing. Maybe some development on the software end can help here? Aside from it being a memory hog, I noticed it had to plough through recent blocks over and over while it was still a year away from the top.
