but as we are called [DMD] Diamond and they call themself diamond coin
there is enough difference

and in fact they reuse a name of a diamondcoin that was existing before a quark clone
(a long dead coin)

what can and will be protected and defended is the trading shortsign DMD and the domain name bit.diamonds
which is the same as our NEM based namespace bit.diamonds

diamond or coin are words u cant protect same as hammer or nail everyone can use them
alone that is a reason why they should should consider another name because they cant protect diamond coin

in the past crypto coin people become lazy and added coin to any currency and so we became known as diamond coin too

it would avoid a lot of misunderstandings in the future if u consider this and adapt ur name

DMD Diamond is with over 500 000$ marketcap a respectable coin and should have been visible for u already in the market researche phase

but they seem to need their coin addon and want to keep using diamond coin

we ourself never claimed diamond coin but DMD Diamond as our name so in fact i see no big problem for the educated followers of DMD
for uneducated crypto crowd it might create confusion

but its not only negative effects if they start promoting their diamond coin
a lot of people will find DMD Diamond too
lets see that as free promotion
special because we focus on different future business and we will be able offer stuff they cant

there is no staking problem just some code lines state 7 days min age now when in fact min age is 9 days

staking is working for everyone

dont worry i myself had troubles with ETH and nicehashminer too
but in fact i run only nvidia cartds this days i earn same good on other algos



for AMD cards mine ETH will maybe still be the best option

the general increased profitability of GPU mining is based on ETH attract most AMD cards on it
and this way other algos did raise a lot in profitability too (less diff because less competition = increasing profit)

if ya have nice GPU take advantage of that

For me ethminer from nicehash doesn't work too, but instruction from here https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=news&id=65 works fine for 2Gb 7850. 1Gb and less cards are not supported.

running headless raspberry pi2 (no monitor no keyboard no mouse) accessible with rdp over local network
the use os is ROKOS flavors v5 which include native DMD wallet support

a 5w staking device



some might say rdp (xrdp on linux) is insecure but in fact is use out of the box a encryption but u should set in conf to high (128 bit bidirectional)

encrypt_level=high

How long does it take to startup DMD client? (loading blockchain etc), windows client takes several minutes to load from coldstart.  Not talking syncing just loading, from SD card must be quite slow ...
