since getting into crypto back in early 2014  diamond is the only alt i've hodeled to this day.
if only i did the same with all the shitcoins alts I mined back in the day (that i thought were going nowhere but down ...scam, pre mine etc..),
 but i'm not going there, its too depressing.

Landone I will try to answer your questions:
DMD is designed to be storage of wealth, that always has been the "real world plan" for this coin.
Currently it fullfills this with hybrid PoW PoS security mechanics in place, that makes it resilient against many attacks,
in the near future it will be even more fortified by a third factor called master nodes.
In DMD 3.0 we will have three different sources of block generation and the implementation of a new proof of work algorithm,
I'm quite confident DMD will still be called a "Safe Haven" in the rough sea of cryptoworld for a long time to come.

the coin rollout speed and coin max stay on the old plan just a bit streamlined for less reward jumps and utilize slow decreasing curves

rollout vectors are MN (masternodes) POS POW so a broad range of users can participate in coin rollout

options to take part in DMD Diamond coin rollout:

with no coins POW
with some coins POW and POS
with much coins POW POS and MN

So when you say coin-pile do you mean making seperate 300-600 DMD transactions to your DMD wallet to increase the chance of POS? I don't think I have ever truly understood POS...

Im hoping someone can help. I purchased 4 reactors for the higher POS in late 2016, setup the scrape address. Nothing has staked , not once. Ive had my wallet unlocked the whole time, and hqave been on latest version 2.1.0.4. I made sure there were NEVER close to 1000 DMD in each reactor at any time. Look at the date of the last stake. Can anyone help tell me what Im doing wrong.

dont worry as dmd user u will even in v3 have luxury that split and merge into correct size happens automatic
just keep wallet running rest work by itself

If I'm not wrong, I think you should have exactly 1000 DMD (one pile of coins) in each reactor....not more, not less. I have a legendary, I have exactly 3000 in it, in one pile and it's working.
