Most pools adopt PPLNS as their reward system so, I'm just wondering..

PROP - Proportional. When a block is found, the reward is distributed among all workers proportionally to how many shares each of them has found.
PPLNS - Pay Per Last N Shares. Similar to proportional, but instead of looking at the number of shares in the round, it looks at the last N shares, regardless of round boundaries.

So basically PPLNS you have to be mining for a while to build up shares before you get you hash-rates share of a reward, PROP it's instant...the downside to this is that people can hop in and out of the pool with no penalty. The upside is you get your full share of the round instantly.

1. There was an payout issue some hours ago. It's all solved now.
Sorry for late reply. I was busy with whole jackpotcoin pool optimization.


2. Pool optimized

- No more port connection error occurs. You will be connected safely from now on.
- No more fake hash is accepted.

I wrote "fake hash", but actually it's not from bad miners. It's just a bit a bug that each miner using
different difficulty base. We accepted who reported 24 difficulty share but actual difficulty was 20.
This variance happens time to time.

Please tell me if you see 'low difficulty share' error and banned for several minutes.
And Tell the miner programmer and request fix to make it as same as sgminer's difficulty base.


3. Fee

We are considering to raise fee to 1%. Well, I opened the 0% fee pool for 1 month.
Time passed 3 weeks, and we see huge hash coming to us.

It would be better for us and coin environment.
I'm afraid about miners telling me "You're a liar. You promised 1 month."
Tell me your thinkings.



4. Please vote for jackpot distribution poll.

how can i run ccminer with your pool?

Easy.

ccminer.exe -a jackpot -o stratum+tcp://jpc.hashtome.com:3333 -u username.1 -p password

You might have to change the ccminer exe name depending on your NVIDIA card version, there's ccminer30.exe, ccminer35.exe and ccminer50.exe.

30 = 6XX series
50 = 7XX series

I use ccminer 0.9 as it doesn't require any .NET libraries so it's easier to use.

Price right now is 30 sat, which if you had someone to buy it at that price would be 2,730,000,000 satoshi (2.73 billion satoshi)

That converts right now with BTC trading at $525.57 to 890 BTC, or $430,439.10.

Are you kidding me? That was worth nearly half a million $?!

Now to my point... Someone out there has to get this info to someone who will write an article on how much the jackpots are.

Check my math for a mistake, but I think it is correct (although it is 2am).


PS. Might I also suggest he/she go buy some votes to get us listed on a big exchange! They are going to need the masses to move that coin over time without crashing the price.
