Jackpotcoin Mining Pool Hub
http://jackpotcoin.miningpoolhub.com

As too many miners suggested, we will raise pool fee 0.5% every day.

We are currently charging 2%, it will be 2.5% at May 29th 9AM UTC.

3.0% at May 30th 9AM UTC
3.5% at May 31th 9AM UTC
...

We will directly lower the fee to 2% when our pool hash doesn't over the 50% nethash.

We hope this pool fee rule would help coin environment.
Thanks.

Dear MiningPoolHub OP

Another brilliant idea that has not been discussed with pool miners. You wanna spread the hashes? So why are you kicking your miner's asses instead of asking yourself why is your pool more attractive than others?
My answer is simple. You've got PPLNS reward type instead of this fckn hopping not secure PROP. The second thing is that the jackpot share is 50/50.
Don't cut the limb you're sitting on. Instead of that give advices to other pool operators how can they improve their pools.
If I could jump on other pool that would be similar to yours I won't even look back. But if you're trying to MAKE me to change the pool to the worst one with bad practices (increasing pool fee (so your's income at the same time) under the slogan of "spreading the hashes" IT IS a BAD PRACTICE), believe me...  you'll become just a pain in miner's ass, and your ratings among ppl would suddenly drop down so it would turn against you.

1st - ask miners what steps they think the pool should take
2nd - let other pool OP's find their way to be attractive to miners
3rd - I was saying it somewhere earlier, don't listen to few ppl at this forum who gives you bad advices, sometimes ask yourself "how would it really help"

Hash@Me has always had a 50/50 jackpot split. Yes we're on PROP not PPLNS, I actually did this deliberately because it's easier for miners to work out that they are getting the correct return for their hash, but how is it less secure? If it would make the pool more attractive I'll switch to PPLNS, it's really very little effort to change, but I don't get why it's *that* big a deal?

Miningpoolhub is trying to do the right thing, he's a good guy with a good pool, I think you're out of line with your comments.

Way to be the 'problem'.

You are basically saying 'I am not leaving because you have the best pool to make money', but are going to chastise him for making the decisions he feels are best.

He built the pool into the best without asking what the public thought or taking a poll on how to do it, but you think he isn't capable of making good decisions even if it isn't the most popular with the masses?

He is actively promoting people to leave his pool at their own discretion, and since that didn't work and the pool continues to grow so now he is taking steps to incentivize people to leave.

Don't accuse him of trying to make sure his profits don't drop while at the same time saying you aren't leaving because your profits would drop.

If you don't like the way he runs his pool, then leave.... it is what he wants right now, and if you can't see why it is SO horrible for the coin and what the outlook would be if the coin were to gain mass market appeal at this time and others would see one pool running 90% of the hashrate all of this time and effort would instantly become worthless with little chance of recovery.

So look out a little bit for the investment you have already made in mining this coin and stop looking at getting a few thousand extra coins a day by being at the big pool and move.

I am testing right now to get some numbers for others to use to hopefully dissolve the perception that you make so much more at the big pool, and I have already moved 50% of the available hashrate I have to a second pool that I have been changing to the different options.

You will be surprised what you will find out.

EDIT: I went and checked my stats for the past 12 hours and I have made 3777 more JPC with 50% of my hashrate over at HashHarder than I did at MiningPoolHub.com. Same difficulty, same settings, same timeframe, everything being equal. More money to be made elsewhere.

I will be sharing all the info I collect with everyone once I have covered each pool for a couple of days, but the point is, people are losing money in the big pool right now, and the payout from the jackpots isn't enough with so many there to even make up for it.

Hey folks!

We just finished rolling out some massive back-end upgrades to jpcdice. Improvements include increased betting speed, better server reliability, thicker security, and screaming fast betting speed (~100 bets per second). If you get a chance, c'mon over and play around with some of the new features and try your luck!

jpcdice.com

Also, we really like some of the new poker chip styled coin logos.

Have a nice day!

the site is running much faster now, thanks

Am I blind, or miningpoolhub removed "Round" link  Huh - so we can't see how coins are distributed between miners?.. Also we can't see if this pool found a superblock and how it will be distributed...   Sad

Edit: if you try to get there manually (by changing the address) - you get "Page currently disabled. Please try again later.".

+1

I am the one pushed 1G hash to jpc.hashatme.com. I am not affiliated with the owner.
Actually I have more closer relationship with Miningpoolhub's owner.

We were trying different ways to spread hash but nothing really had worked before.
Finally we made some success with the help of these two pools' cooperation.

I asked Miningpoolhub to raise the fee to speed up this process.

Right now a few percent fee is less important issue than 51% attack possibility.
And later on the fee will go down once we achieve all pools under 50% share.
