Total amount of coin will be ~30B which has been mentioned many times through the thread and on the first page describing the coin. Smiley

I don't think it matters.

I've got my coins spread across 2 or 3 addresses and I get the full 0.1% of my total holdings every 24 hours.

when you compare what this coin has going for it compared to the average typical features of other popular new "clone" coins,
the features listed for Jackpot Coin is utterly staggering !

and if this was not true i would say so on the spot with out hesitation.. i call it as i see it.
Absolutely, what I like also, is the mining aspect of it, it's spectacular. I wish more where like this.

Welcome to all the newcomers in the Jackpot fever!

We are still looking for a better coin logo as well as new icons for the wallet and possible banners etc. There are bounties for that:
Quote
1.5M Better logo
2M New icon set/splash screen/inside screen for the wallet consistent with the new logo

Here are the current entries:
BTW, we should continue our logo contest...

so far I see these are the ones proposed:
 A - from goo38
 B - from crypto-rainbow
 C1/2 - from strasboug
 D1/2 - from see360
 E1/2 - from toknormal

Still looking for a better and pro one I guess...

(A)

(B)

(C1)

(C2)

(D1)

(D2)

(E1/2)

Thanks for compiling them!

Edit: And I don't forget you see360

Regarding the coin icons, did you guys see the other variations of D? I only posted links to the gallery, so you might have missed them. One of the devs wanted to see other shades of gold. For example:

which looks like this in other light:

i don't see how making POS the superblock reward idea as fixing anything..
all that will happen is it will do more harm than good.
POS only coins are dead .
Kill off the mining motivation and your will regret it i think Wink

and MiningPoolHub guy who gets every jackpot if your so worried about it being fair why did you open registrations back up a while ago ?
and further more it would require no effort at all to boot off some of your miners to keep the pools even ..but you don't (for obvious reasons)
don't want the fee's ? want to make the coin better ? want to make it more fair ? then hey what is stopping you from restricting your pool
and forcing people to go to another pool that NEEDS the users such as Cloudminers ?
you would rather have the coin forked and changed drastically ? seriously ? that is awfully short sighted and risky

there is always ways to exploit things as a cracker for a decade or two i know.. it's what we do.

so why try a risky method of fixing a problem you guy insist exist even though i previously proved doesn't exist in the first place (and you all happily ignored me)
you know the problem where you closed registrations on a pool then opended them up again ? LOLOLOL

do you guys even get basic logic or common sense or what Huh hahhah

and there is NO problem you guys are blind and can't see the obvious.....

2gh/s max avg on one pool vs 20 to 30gh/s on the network........

there is no problem...............

want me to list coins THAT DO suffer from the problem your inferring ? such as Secure Coin (SRC) where 99% of net hash is on ONE pool ?

if it ain't broke DON'T FIX IT !

and pool operators try exercising some responsibility and not blaming the coin dev.. if too many people are on your pool YOU do something about
rather than blaming the coin dev... something tells me your going to come here and say a bunch of shit and then do whatever and happily collect fee's though lol
Crypto 101... play the good guy at Bitcointalk then wander off and MAKE MONEY ..classic  Roll Eyes

Can't argue with you there, but so are coins with a too fast blocksize reduction, if you know what I mean.

Huh What am I doing still holding a bag of Blackcoin  Huh

I should ditch it and buy more Jackpot. But then again, isn't this a miner's coin ? If it gets popular with miners what's going to make it popular with traders ?

This coin's features are great.  I'm hoping that down the road the powerful mining features keep it's network powerful, but yeah, that big jackpot could prevent the price per coin from going too high.  Always depends though.  The ultrafast transaction speed and hybrid pow/pos could easily make this an ideal coin for daily transactions and the benefit of the jackpot in this sense is it keeps the market liquid.  If a few merchants can accept this coin it would be great too.  Hopefully it can be on mintpal by sometime in June.  That'll be big for it.  it'll be on swisscex in a week or two as well.
