Wow - someone jumped in at Cloudminers w/ over 60Mh/s. Sure knocked my take down a bit... lol!

I am having 65 MHash/s with a few nVidia cards. My co author Chris84 is around 35 MHash/s

Haha! Thought it might be you! I'm getting ~8.5 w/ 2x 660 FTW's and 1x 750Ti SC

I am doing solo mining because I have a real chance of hitting the pot.

god knows what a pool owner would do with the Jackpot...

Huh I thought after Block 6000 its not that big anymore. My 7970 are hashing with 2,4MH/s ?!

the authors of the AMD miners need to implement their stuff more efficiently. In particular resolve the divergence... An if/else on a per thread basis just kills performance.

I mean the hard fork happened yesterday, so now it is up to the miner devs. to compete with each others.
(the past years everybody has been laughing at nvidia owner for having something not good at mining and nobody ever came
with a coin for those poor users... and nobody even said it was unfair...  so apparently it is only unfair when it works the other way around...)

in the spirit of healthy competition i want to share my Radeon 7950 config Smiley
let's try and give the nvidia guys a run for their money !

i don't think i can squeeze out more than 2.19 mh/s on my 7950 (Powercolor with a low stock voltage)

anyway i am running the sgminer posted by the OP on the first page.
i hope this gives people some ideas to experiment etc..

My bat file:

Quote
del *.bin
sgminer.exe -d 0 --kernel jackpotcoin --config jackpotcoin.conf

And my conf with the wallet running for a fall back if the pool goes down..
i experimented LOTS with TC and it seems work size is stuck at 256 regardless of what you put in the conf i think.
NO auto gpu stuff, i want it set manually how i want it Smiley
Oh and if you use your wallet to solo mine i highly advise using scantime : 1.. for the pool i am no so sure. (i am using 3 on the pool)

Strange, but with my config I get beter WU with default scantime (def. value 7).
With -s 3 I get WU ~1080/m, and with default - ~1220/m.
Edit: by the way, these results are for the pool.
