I just bought 110K NXT today. Any idea how many ARDR I will get ? (those coins are on polo, should I transfer them to my wallet? Or Polo will add me ARDR automaticaly?) EDIT: I will also recieve some IGNIS for holding NXT? Any link? Hi, If you hold until the end (approximately 9 days), you'll get 9/90 * 110k. Which is approximately 11000 ardor. The ardor asset already has bids, with the imminent asset release (ardor release is still a year away) . The Ignis snapshot is around a year away. I don't think it's set in stone but 50% will be distributed to nxt holders and the rest is ico'd for the devs. Sorry, no link. |

Q&A: There's been a lot of questions coming back repeatedly, which isn't really bad in my opinion as it indicates that there's new people coming in. However, there are a few misconceptions going around so we're creating this in order to clear some things up. We'll continue adding more questions to this list, but please feel free to ask if you have a question now that isn't answered here. What is Ardor?Ardor is a scalable blockchain platform with child chains. With it, people can use blockchain technology without having to build things from scratch. In addition, they will be able to trade with other child chains on the platform. Since it is built with Nxt technology, the features of Nxt, like Assets, Messaging, and Voting, will be available on the child chains. Will Nxt Die?No. Nxt will be supported by the core developers for at least a year after the launch of Ardor and will most likely be supported beyond that. When will Ardor Launch? Ardor is scheduled to launch in the third quarter of 2017. The distribution after the snapshot will be of assets that represent the Ardor tokens that you will get when Ardor launches. These tokens can be traded on the Asset Exchange of Nxt after they are issued, which will be at block 1,000,000 (around October 13th).
Will I get ARDR if my NXT is on an exchange?We have a written confirmation from BTC38, Poloniex, and Bittrex that they will be participating in the snapshot and will be distributing the tokens.
What is IGNIS?IGNIS will be the first child chain of Ardor. How do I get IGNIS Tokens?Before the launch of Ardor, there will be a one-time snapshot to all accounts with NXT. You will receive 50% of whatever amount of NXT you have at that time. Like with the snapshotting for ARDR, no NXT will be burned.
Do I Need to Have Ardor Tokens (ARDR) to get IGNIS Tokens?No. The only determining factor of the amount of IGNIS Tokens you'll get is the amount of NXT you have. What Will Happen to My Assets on Nxt?It all depends on the Asset issuer if they choose to stay on Nxt or move on to Ardor. It will not be automatic. What Will Happen to My Monetary System Tokens?Like Assets, it depends on the issuer of the MS Token on what they would want to do. Also like Assets, this will not be automatic. has anyone created a script that allows you to "forge" a specific asset? i know that the concept is not directly possible, you would not be forging that asset, but the GUI and software could allow the forging on NXT and then auto convert just the forged rewards into an asset that the user has chosen ahead of time. maybe it is something that no one will use, but i thought about it the other day while moving mined Burst to another wallet and then converting that to an asset.

After a week they can buy Ardor. Simple, if you're planning to buy Ardor my advice is don't sell NXT. Why do you need to buy something if you can get it for free? |

Truly geniuses the "development team" ... the plot to doubling their multimillonaire stakes through the invention or ARDR has been wildly successful and has also not only doubled the price (hence their stakes are now worth 4 times what they were at the announcement of Ardor, while unloading millions of NXT at inflated and now distan prices, all along), on ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but the announcement of something in a very, very distant future, but also has made them even bolder and, if possible, more greedy: Now they completely forget about the holy grial of crypto -open source decentralization- and go full metal jacket centralized with Ardor, which they fully own and control anyway. Oh, they expect this private company, Jeluva or whatever, to be so successful selling their blockchain technology that they believe NXT holders will benefit in some marginal way by the name association recognition it will bring to NXT... wow. That's as bold as anyone could think of. These guys were supposed to be working for NXT and Ardor exclusively, remember? After all they would benefit as the multimillionaires in holdings of both that they are. But that isn't enough. Impressive, really.
Meanwhile, they still need you, poor, pathetic pawns, to keep mantaining the network by forging for crumbs while they suck every drop of profit. Masterful. Congratulations on the bolder and bolder schemes that so far keep on working for you. You probably wont ever develop anything remotely close to customized childchains -too rich to actually bother doing the work- but before people realize what the truth here is, you will already be too rich and unreachable to be bothered. Amazing. Simply amazing.
