Ah yes no problem, have you added nodes and added the encrypted private key in syscoin.conf?

if you send me the encrypted privkey you recieved in your email i can make up the syscoin.conf for you and all you will have to do is copy and paste to get you up and running.

That stinks.

Oh dear lord don't do this people. First, your coins aren't stored in syscoin.conf, and it can't be used to load them for you. Second, the privkey you received in your email can only be used to permanently load your coins into a wallet, which means this guy would have access to your coins for as long as you kept them at that address, even if he actually did turn over a wallet.dat file you could use to access your coins.

tl:dl giving anyone your privkey is a great way to get your coins stolen. Don't do it.

Too many assholes like this trying to steal from the uninformed. Good on you for outing him to the community.

Yes!

@ all!! Attention, this guy is a scammer!!!!!!!

LOL, this is sadly going down. Those who predicted that it might get below ICO price might be right - devs seem not to have any support plany. I would like to be wrong on that! The coin's specs are good, though.

I think it's bit too early to make statements like that.

My wallet does not synching! "NO BLOCK SOURCE AVAILABLE..."

WTF I CAN DO HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh?

Try this.....

Wallet >> Help >> Debug Window >> Console >> "addnode de2.miningpool.co add"

Yea thanks, this helped.

If this does not work, there are lists of IPs you can try back a few pages... Eg...

addnode=faucet.no-ip.biz
addnode=212.17.40.234
addnode=66.248.204.251
addnode=54.198.232.29
addnode=71.85.227.255
addnode=de2.miningpool.co

Enter them into the console using this format "addnode www.xxx.yyy.zzz add"

Once a good IP is added, you should start to sync.
You may need to try a few.

edited to add these...

If you knew enough to offer assistance - you knew enough to know that what you were asking for had nothing to do with his problem and everything to do with his coins.

Really what the fuck do you want with his private key? What does that have to do with the conf file?

Trying to steal coins from people! You get a negative trust for doing so, a little mark so people will see that your trying to steal their coins.

Your a troll and FUDster, I remember you posting shit about Syscoin throughout the thread.

Just a quick note: there are several PMs I need to catch up on, been focused on the crazy crazy day that was today. I will catch up on these in the morning, pay out bounties as needed, post the dev wallet addresses and we'll have block explorer up and running as well.

The entire team appreciates the support and patience the community has shown today. We have a lot more work to do; today was just the start!

I think that sugar coats matters somewhat and that it was all rather disappointing. You came across as amatuers/middlemen and not professional managers/programmers with direct control over your product/brand. Market confidence was undermined -- though it seems to be stablising/rebounding, the coin price was headed for a solid triple, possible quadruple, gain at launch before this embarrassing and completely avoidable wallet glitch fiasco. Let's be honest about it - that's the first step to a recovery and restoring market confidence in your ability to handle things going forward.

I think SYS can recover from this if it takes specific steps I'll suggest in my next message. You already took a big first step in not blaming MOOLAH or anyone else for your internal issues (which is a lot more than most devs around here do when something like this happens) and you accepted full accountability for the wallet glitch, but there are other things you should/shouldn't do to get SYS brand back to where it was headed before all this drama/chaos.

I agree
