Haha, wow. I would not have expected re-downloading to be quicker.
You can download entire DB as a file:
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BxjgDTbyv7y6TkZQVzE5akctcFk/edit?usp=sharing

Is it possible to release those for the other coins as well? I think the most preferable way would be, if possible (depending on your bandwidth allowance) doing automatic uploads like every week or so for each coin so that as new users jump on they can download everything right then and there and get it done.

Other currencies databases are tiny comparing with Bitcoin. The client software downloads them in 2 hours

I have a question too... using import/export wallet we can import/export to the official Coinname-QT, right? If so, what happens if, say we have the BTC and LTC wallets in our Ufasoft client, and then we export our keys from the official clients and import them in to Ufasoft? Will they all be merged in to one (meaning that both BTC's will be merged and both LTC's will) or will they show up as separate entities?

I am asking because I have three separate BTC clients on three different PC's and if possible I'd like to be able to run all three inside Ufasoft but as separate entities (ex. the listing would show BTC, BTC, BTC). Is this how it would work, or is it different?

I was going to test it out and see but I'm scared of screwing something up, :p.

Yes, they will be merged. That means UfasoftCoin will show SUM of all imported BTC money as single item.

Got ya. Is there any way to export them back individually after, or would it all be held in a single wallet from that point forward?

You are supporting the right coins except for the runner-up: Feathercoin. This wallet software could grow to something big.

Feathercoin protocol uses the same MagicNumber as LiteCoin. By this reason our client cannot to classify incoming packet as LiteCoin or FeatherCoin. The only solution is opening separate TCP port for FeatherCoin. But current application architecture does not allow this.

Hey there Ufasoft! Is there any chance you can modernize the look of the client? I figure the hard part is the actual coding, but I think it could pick up a lot more people if it had a better looking UI to it (something like Digitalcoin's or Feathercoin's or whatever -- basically they're all the same).

I love the functionality, I just hate the look and feel of it, Sad.

*Cries* I suck at that stuff, Sad. I may give it a go sometime when I learn a bit more about graphics and stuff, lol.

It is still by far my favorite client though -- even on slower PC's it loads up quick, gets connected to nodes fast, etc. The normal clients take up to 15 minutes to boot on my laptop and yours only takes a couple seconds, o.O.

With the latest version, I'm getting runtime errors if I leave it running for long periods of time. Will try to provide more details the next time I get one.

The new version fixes the thrashing problem completely for me.   However, I have yet to be able to get a good block download with
it, it usually stalls in the low 100,000s and then I wind up having to kill the process in task manager, and the db is corrupt. I am wondering if by providing the premade block chain download this code is not getting tested as much as it should in the field?

Here is what I keep getting. About once per day I check on it and there are these two error messages and all activity has stopped. This never happened on any previous version for me.

Currently I only have BTC and NMC enabled.

Edit: ufasoft, are there release notes for version .66? Just realilzed I'm on .64 still... Do you also administer the website? The email notification subscription feature doesn't seem to work, and if there actually is such a thing, I'd like to get on it.

Is there an API I can use? (a sub-component of this project perhaps)

xCoin logic on C++.
UI on C#/WPF. They interact via COM. So you can call coineng.dll from any programming language, supporting COM.
