Is there a Mac client for the new update?  That's what I use.

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011:
"I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00.  Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/"  ...sigh.  If only I knew.

how long is everyone waiting for ?

to me it looks like it freezes but then it loads up. so be patient.

20 min, 60 min, 120 min... and counting, going to sleep now so. Next try is 6h.

It was working ok for me.. I closed it and i'm gonna open it again right now. Let's see how long it takes to open.

I just logged in and did a small transaction which was done and confirmed in about 20 seconds.

10659   12/2/2015 00:38:02   10.00000   0.03500   15007997926042764084

I have to say that all the time was just verifying blocks and only had to download about 10 blocks. If i had to download all the blocks it would have taken several hours. But well.. like btc wallet.. first time also takes a loooong time to download database.

i just set up the new version on my vps.

everything works fine, i can access through the browser and log in.

what exactly has to be done in order to be active for PoA? Do i just need to login once and then it starts?

what if i close the browser, is node still forging?

greetings

So I have setup the windows NODE and I have an address with 550k node.

Now I have the wallet open and thats great.

But to forge do I need to forward those 19775 and 19776 ports to that machine?
Or does it just work?

I was able to ride the "node linux" version in "windows", maybe you can try to do the same by running the "node linux" on mac.

node-v0.10.36.pkg

For those who do not want "open window" just use "linux version" in windows.

Node(linux version) works fine in windows:

1-Download and install (Current Version of NodeJs: v0.12.0 not work for me):
http://nodejs.org/dist/v0.10.36/x64/
(node-v0.10.36-x64.msi)

2-Create npm temporary folder, go to %AppData%, ex:C:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData\Roaming and create folder nammed "npm"

3-Download:
http://nodecoin.com/node_linux.0.9.5.zip

4-Just unpack in c:\Node

5-Open command prompt:

cd c:\Node
npm install
npm -g install forever
forever start index.js
exit

6-Open browser and tip: localhost:19775

Smiley

To stop simply open a command prompt and go to the folder:
cd c:\node
forever stop index.js

May need to open for to access by another computer in network.
In the same machine did not need.

Maybe we should open 19776 and add route in "connection modem"
