So then what are the advantages of using NODEPAY over what we have now?
NodePay this integration for websites, you can now take Node. When will the euro and the dollar, you can also take Yes but he's right. Ripple is already doing that. Ripple is currency agnostic. As soon as anyone introcudes any currency into the system - provided there are market makers - you can trade any currency for any other currency. Granted, there is no real nice website integration for services but it might have been a good idea to build NodePay on top of a system like Ripple. That way you would have been way more versatile. Still interested to see how NodePay will play out.

I cannot send a transaction. When I try to send a transaction I get the "Are you sure" screen then I click send and nothing happens. The screen just sits there. I have tried with two different addresses. I saw that there hasn't been a transaction since 9am. Is anyone else having trouble?

So I decided to share with You our future plans for the Node on the Integration of the Euro and the Dollar We and our lawyers have long thought about the technical and legal integration of the dollar and the Euro, our plans were in the beginning has changed.
We looked at a lot of payment systems with which we can interact. In the end, it was decided to create a processing center which will take responsibility for processing payments, SWIFT, SEPA and VISA. This center will be connected to the client Node. Each new transaction in EUR and USD (incoming and outgoing payment) will be duplicated records in the blockchain from the processing center, but the main is the processing center. From the client Node will be possible to make direct payments SWIFT, SEPA and VISA. To use these services you will need from your side registration and passport data in the system NdoeBank. Each registered user will receive their own account. More detailed technical and legal information will be published later. In terms of the technical implementation of the project may take from 9 to 12 months.
The processing center is a system which works directly with one of the banks offering their services on the implementation of money transfers
A thought crossed my mind. Instead of taking real US-Dollars you could implement BitUSD into the Node wallet. BitUSD is also a crypto currency that is pegged to the value of real USD - that means one BitUSD is exactly worth one USD. http://whatisbitusd.com

AML and KYC are highly US-centric standards. When did they first appear? Would be interesting to know, but I don't want to start digging in wikipedia for that. Anybody knows?

For your info: In response to mounting concern over money laundering, the Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering (FATF) was established by the G-8 Summit that was held in Paris in 1989. The FATF currently comprises 34 member jurisdictions and 2 regional organisations, representing most major financial centres in all parts of the globe: Argentina Australia Austria Belgium Brazil Canada China Denmark European Commission Finland France Germany Greece Gulf Cooperation Council Hong Kong Iceland India Ireland Italy Japan Luxembourg Mexico Netherlands New Zealand Norway Portugal Russia Singapore South Africa South Korea Spain Sweden Switzerland Turkey United Kingdom United States So no, it is not highly US-centric standards.

<irony on> I see - not US centric, but designed, introduced, maintained, and enforced by the US, starting in 1989 at the G-8, with such global super powers as South Africa, Hong Kong, and Luxemburg being the driving forces.
And don't forget Belgium and Iceland as major driving forces shaping US monetary policies! <irony off>
I am surprised however, that only 34 other countries are in the inner circle of this - including such super powers and money laundering hubs as Luxemburg and Switzerland. In any case these are 34 of 185 or so member states of the UN- so the question is indeed: which jurisdiction are you talking about? Of course this is US centric, starting with the oafish akronyms. the others are dupes, vasalls and dependents of the US.
