a typical NEMster would be interested in both coins
success is something that can be archived by multiple coins Agree. You can never tell which coin will take the lead. NEM has a great community. Same thing is about Node, though there is not so many people supporting it (needs more advertisement, perhaps,.. or bounties to bring new people into community). May be you are wrong, many ppl know Node now.

As I remember the main goal before was to reach the number of 5,000 stakeholders (or something, can't find the evidence right now), but as you can see we got only ~1300. Comparing to NEM that's 1/2 of their community. But what the hell... not bad anyway, because 1300 is not 70 like it was in NXT

The thread problems on here and the name change won't have helped.

Can someone give more details on EUR, USD integration?
As we said before launch will be without a EUR / USD integration (after the launch and distribution of coins we start working on this option) Briefly about this technology, it will be created the site " NodeBank" through this website users will be able to replenish the account EUR / USD (VISA, PayPal ....) in the system " Node" NodeBank <= API => Node, Node transaction within the system USD / EUR will not differ from the transaction NodeCoin

This is total fantasy for various reason (1) It's illegal to exchange US dollars without properly registering and paperwork. (2) You have to have proof from the users of their identity (valid ID, proof of residency). (2) Visa/Paypal transaction are reversible (chargebacks are possible for upto 30 days). There is no way you can integrate that kind of system in the core. It requires a third party -- a gateway -- like bitstamp gateway on ripple.

hi I'm on the members list but I haven't done anything since I submitted my name early this year, I didn't follow the thread so I kinda missed out on what happened since. Do I need to pay some funding or members fee, did I miss the IPO? how does this work, how do I get some of the coins? I'm a total newbe to this so I'd appreciate all info to get me upto speed

A small piece of NEWS Listen Up! As we announced previously, we are setting a DEADLINE for the Account Creation! Why? Cause it will take forever to collect all the accounts, to proceed to the DISTRIBUTION! We are trying to push this process by PM-ing our members about this fact. THE DEADLINE IS JUNE 27th! Some useful tips:How to create a NODE ACCOUNT #: 1) Navigate to http://5.9.123.114:19775/2) Insert your secret phrase(password) and click the arrow! - Use at least 10 symbols, try to make it difficult to hack and write it down somewhere so you don’t forget it. 3) You will find your account number in the top left corner of the screen! 4) Pm me the NEW ACCOUNT NUMBER and i will add it tot the spreadsheet! The passphrase is Caps and Space sensitive! Don't forget about this! If you created an account in the past make sure to verify the passphrase with the new tool http://5.9.123.114:19775/Double check the Account number in the spreadsheet!
This Announcement will be posted continuously to ensure that everyone gets the message! Those who will not create an account number till June 27th! Will: 1)Be subjected to penalties (not decided yet), but for instance he will be subjected to 10% daily fee, from his coin balance! If he submits his account number after June 27! 2) Loose His Coins!
After June 27 - We will launch our SuckPuppet Removal Formula (LOL) xD and we will eradicate the puppets! More info will be posted later! Regards, Node Team!

How about his other two points? will the gateway be decentralised, if not, where will it be hosted, - Node client - decentralized a) Module Node Coin - decentralized b) Module bitcoin - decentralized c) USD / EUR - from centralized NodeBank - Node Bank (website) - centralized I want to add money to the account Example: 1) I registered on the site NodeBank 2) To add funds the account payment systems 3) We moderating "User" and replenish your account in the "Node" For site NodeBank we register a company for the execution of foreign exchange transactions, such as a popular system OkPay works with bitcoin and USD / EUR We plan to launch two client 1) Client Node - will only NodeCoin (will be in early July) 2) Client NodePay will include a) Module NodeCoin b) Module Bitcoin c) Module USD / EUR and web-site NodeBank The system Node. Module USD / EUR will have two special accounts Example: 256663663636363USD 256663663636363EUR These accounts will be connected using API NodeBank, only these two accounts we replenish through NodeBank, then from these accounts we will send money to other accounts NODEWe already know how to implement it, our programmers write documentation-that would streamline the entire process of This is a great crypto hybrid system consisting of several modules We have just started and are not going to stop our enthusiasm only grows
