im only joking man.. i mean node has huge potential but just needs to get up an running on healthy legs(blockchain working) before it can run for gold in the crypto olympics Wink

thats why i said at this stage.. cos right now node needs fixing. once its fixed, we should be golden! Smiley

edit:

hang on its the client that needs fixing,, not the blockchain right?? sorry.. my bad.. didnt mean to spread fud or anything.. just got mixed up.. :/

im holding my node long term too so im not worried about the client taking time.

I undersand Smiley

I have the same opinion! And i'm glad that the team is pushing it! I'm pretty sure they will manage this quickly, so we could mark this step with a check symbol!

Also in the mean time i see that our group power is pushing it on BTER From position 79 to 29!!! Huge collective contribution! If we join forces, now that we are more vulnerable, i'm sure that node will become big!!!

Let the force be with you! (Star wars Style) Just kidding!

It is both.  The chain needs fixing because the client needs fixing.  Likely the next version will basically contain a hard fork around block 517.

Step by step! We are climbing it!

will the new client have the accounts last transactions or will it still be the networks?

Problem with blockchain.

[sold]

I was the buyer.

Notice I did not know that the transactions in the webwallet not work, apparently there is a problem with blockchain.
I did not know this problem before buying.

That means that the only possibility as the seller can not send them to you, is that the seller will send the passphrase.

And you have to trust the seller until the problem is fixed and you can send to your wallet.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=727745.msg8327268#msg8327268

After the passphrase is provided the buyer can still see that the coins are there correct? Is the trust you are refering to just the fact that they could log in and make a transfer once everything fixed before you do, if they were a scammer that is?

Yes, coins are in the wallet.

The fault was mine to not read the post in the forum that spoke of the blockchain failure .

Maybe in the buying and selling thread should have a warning and advice on how to proceed in that case.

Really the sale can not be completed. The buyer gets the seller passphrase and should trust him until you can change the coins to another wallet.

the client of mac is ready?

We are currently busy with some bug annihilation, and we will release the fully functional Windows Client first!

After a while we will introduce the Mac version as well!

I wouldn't say the project is launched yet. It will launch soon though. Until then you won't see those things.

They are very serious tho. They have been building this from scratch for 6 months and have many exciting features planned for the future.

Here is the link to my trust settings here on forum. This trust system is very unfair. I make good on every deal Ive ever made. I had many, many deals as you can see and I never scammed anyone. All it takes is a random account to give you negative trust and youre screwed. Tomatocage has never even talked to me ever but when the random acct hit me with negative trust, Tomatocage came right behind him and marked neg trust again so obviously he was the one who did it. You can look at Tomatocage trust and see how many of his compeditors at the currency exchange thread he labeled scammers. I never scammed anyone. My trust was green over 20 before this. I hope it never happens to you because the mods cant help you.

I just point that a Linux client SHOULD be released at first! Linux is for now the best OS for securing your crypto.

Hold you horses! Node is operated on Linux! But we concentrated on Windows thus the majority has it!

All Os versions will be released one after another!

Just be patient guys! The devs are pushing the limits!

Keep on voting for NODE on BTER

https://bter.com/voting#NODE

They aint gonna add NODE by that way, Devs have to contact directly those exchanges.

I agree the devs need to contact them, but do you think it would help if there was a 1000 or so votes when they did? Do you think it would make a difference? My thinking is that at least they would also know that there was also community support there.

But yes, I think they are in the end going to want some money. Im just thinking the voting has to help. I don't know for sure. So I vote there to show Bter that I want Node listed there.

I had no problem running the client on Linux after extracting the source from the nodewebkit windows binary.  When the client is finished and re-released I'll provide instructions for doing this yourself.
