A recommendation for a giveaway.

Randomly send node to open node wallets once a day.

I for one have not seen anything for POS in over a week and will probably be closing the wallet and opening a more active one. I'm sure there are others that are considering this.
True, no need to send thousands. Just 100 or 200 Nodes daily.

Even 50.

The whole point behind this particular giveaway is to let new users in on NODE and see how it works.

Those of us that have been here already know how good of a coin this can turn out to be.

At the moment this 120K NODE giveaway is the one I am conducting out of my own pocket and whitecloud who donated also.  I had to take time limitations into account.

Send this idea of node rewards to the devs, maybe they can set up something.

I didn't direct this at you, just thought of it because I saw your giveaway promotion. Good work.

The Devs should be monitoring this thread, if they are not then this coin has little chance.

120K NODE Giveaway!

120 000 NODE coins will be given away!
Special thanks to whitecloud for donating additional NODE to the giveaway.

thanks, I do recommend Node to the people around me and give them advise.
A few of them are slowly ready to put in some money and as warren buffet said
you have to be patient, but if you invest in good innovative technology you may have
almost certainly some big profits in 5, 10, 20 years.

....
almost certainly some big profits in 5, 10, 20 years.

That is true but 99% investor in crypto are pnd gamblers at least most of them lose money over time
due to many scams around, anyway crypto is growing and more and more companies are starting accepting it.
I have hope that some day i will be rich like all here because we have chosen right coin. (all want the same )

Anyway i would more want save for my retire in 50% in crypto than give my money to banks/government
all see what is going on in Russia now when governments are printing money all our savings are stolen in legit way
crypto can help people brake that monopoly at least - crypto have future.

Would it be possible to implement a system that shows forging earnings for each Node?  Like is there any way to track how much we are earning from forging?

I am participating in the signature campaign but I do not want any nodes in return.
I did have a signature including Node before and surely after January 2015.

Perfect!  Smiley I would also add 1000 for Facebook's Like and 500 for each friend's like of Facebook Node Community page for the first hundred of people and 500/250 for the next hundred. So Community self-organized, it's cool, so we also support it and run some of our programs.
We want to focus precisely on the activity of the Node Network, so our programs complement each other wonderfully Smiley

Cool, thanks.

Not a lot of people have signed up for the giveaway so if you want the extra NODE they will be there for you unless more people sign up and claim them.

I leave just addy for coins I support (cept noble marketplace: first of it's kind) I think these big gaudy sigs do not help promote. I ignore them and if I see a member that has something I like to say I look up what coins he supports in his sig.

I have the client running on an Ubuntu 14.04 VPS.  It hasn't had any downtime and has been stable for more than a month.

Ubuntu needs Node.js running on it, but not the one from the depositories.  You need to use the chris-lea version since it's the latest Node.js.  After you install that version, just follow the node instructions
