I actually saw that 8972433069625705159 has transactions every 2-3 blocks (max 50000)
Interesting.
Can it do that automatically?

Here is the answer, it is active in the network and take advantage on forging. But we are still monitoring the network POA. Also, we will improve it

There is no incentive for people that hold to keep node open and secure network.

It probably depends on the perspective from which we relate.
If all things go well for node, I do not think it's too much to target 1$ per 1Node - ie the potential is really great.
This means full integration, aggressive marketing, many transactions...
How much is worth then forging?

But really at this point is worth probably not too much.
I for one do not now forging primarily to gain...

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

damn you need my blood type too? realsilk told me to send account number and he will investigate so I did. All of us that are saying we are not forging were previously forging so the issue is not our os or connection.

BTW I'm on FIOS with >50 ping to just about anywhere. Except NK! Hahaha OS Win7

The account number will not give us a complete picture, for example, info about your internet connection, we need to analyze an array of information and all the factors then we can understand where is your problem. It's even more important for us than for you. Probably your channel isn't stable enough, and we need to think about how to figure out with that, but in order to understand this we need information. The algorithm is very simple: 1 second online in a row = 1 point, 1 Node transaction = 1 point. We are constantly updating the system so we need your help.

+1

How about opening a child board in the nxtforum ANN section as a start?

The NXT community is much more friendly and open minded than BTC here, and one major step for every 2nd gen coin is stepping out of the Bitcointalk shadow.

Don't underestimate this! As long as a coin is in this altcoin swamp here, it is not taken seriously!

So how about integrating that into a marketing plan?

I have a dual wan load balancing linux server.
From a client node may have simultaneously two ip addresses.
It's ok?

I'm not having any trouble forging.  I keep my machine running and I'm seeing my account hit more and more blocks each day.

My guess is the one account that is hitting the most blocks is Bter.  Keep in mind, they probably have the largest balance and I'm sure their node is always on.  We see this with Qora too.  The exchanges often hit all of the blocks when the other top 2, or 3 nodes happen to be offline at the same time.

Anyway, keep up the good work.  Also, if you want to move this discussion off of here, I recommend Slack or even reddit.  Personally I like the public, forum feel of reddit but a lot of people like Slack for community organization and project development.

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011:
"I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00.  Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/"  ...sigh.  If only I knew.

Easy to find out using blockexplorer. On the other hand devs after many of us showing this concern did and delivered to them this special client. Or u can just ask them.

Trust in BTER is not there after bitbay scam. One more reason we need to be on polo.

Giveaway would be more enticing if more than 'Jr. Member' users could participate.  May be less effective since newer users have less posts, but will put Nodes into more people's hands, promoting the system.  You should also think about also applying the promotion to signature space on other forums, or making a Node promotional thread in another forum.  Perhaps we could make a sample promotional post for people to post in other forums that users could use to promote Node in a professional manner.  I would be willing to pitch 15k+ Node for the promotion.
