Pardon my noobness but what does "Minting suspended due to locked wallet" mean?

What's minting and do I have to leave my wallet unlocked, opened and running at all time to profit from "minting"?

if you don't unlock your wallet , you will not receive stack coins , just unlock it .that's give you some bonuses everyday

Alright thx!
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

After the fiasco with Asiacoin there wont be many investing without a full blockchain/source code audit by a trusted third party.

if it's already done I'd love to hear about it and be able to spread the good word

I reviewed the source code today and I am satisfied that it is clean - it is a simple clone of CommunityCoin.  I performed a diff between CommunityCoin and this repo and checked all the differences.  You can try it yourself by downloading winmerge and doing a folder compare.  My credentials - I have many years of experience as a developer (including C++) although I have never developed any crytpo currencies but I am getting interested in this area more and more.

micryon also searched all the repositories in github today for the same scam as asiacoin and UVC was not mentioned: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=595056.0

Trust me I got burnt by asiacoin as well hence why I took the time to do this as I am moderately invested in UVC now and don't want to get burnt that way again.

I have confirmed the premine is 500,000 which is 0.5% of the 100m total coins.  UVC has 20m coins during the POW phase but 100m including the POS phase.  I clarified this by PM with the developer today.

Well done man, however I don't think it matters that UVC copied from other coins, they don't have tech innovation TBH, but they ARE really trying to make something new in the marketing field, and I think they did good job since launch.

Well, at least they've never scamed ppl and always being active.

Long live UVC  Grin

Yep, staking works like a charm.  Smiley

You have to run the wallet all the time and don't close it or shut down your pc, then the stakes will show up.  Wink

I like that logo. I have just a small number of coins, but this coin does look promising.
