I think people are returning to the coins that are not the (as BK pointed out) "last grab for cash" coins. And putting more into the ones that, ultimately, will stick around now that this boom is dying down.

I 100% agree.

Some new coins look tempting to buy but the risk involved is very high. Better buy a coin like NAUT that shows commitment and healthy growth!

This coin is for mid/long range (crypto ranges:) 3 months and longer in my oppinion.

Coin good or bad needs be backed by money. Only the good coins with serious development, feature releases and backed with money are the ones that gonna make it.

Naut is that coin! Dont buy for that quick double, but buy for steady healthy growth!

Yup How many coin creators have shown as much faith in their product as BK? I mean, he's been buying coins himself for the last month to keep the price afloat while waiting for the new update. 99% of devs would have bailed a long time ago and launched a new coin, rather than risk their own money. My thinking is that if BK is willing to risk tens of thousands of dollars on Naut then there has to be something too it. Seems like a lot of other people are starting to see the same thing.

i will readily admit that, at first, I thought BK was either in it to make a quick buck OR was too naive and uncommitted to make naut a success.

But then i started paying attention ... really paying attention ... and i realized i was dead wrong.  Given enough time and given the perfect circumstances, Naut could become a rival to bitcoin itself.   As if naut is visa and btc is mastercard.




by the way... What NAUT pool should i be pointing my scrypt rig at?  i want to mine as much as i can before POS!

One  reason for the steady rise is that the NSF has been able to operate more effectively.  Even though the stuck blocks are very frustrating it allows the NSF to place supporting buy orders without getting hit by miner auto sells.  Over the last week the NSF has been able to support NAUT by placing bids every 500 sat from 11k to 13.5k today. 

This should be a preview of what will happen when we make the PoS switch.

For announcement... maybe, my regular employ has caused me to put a few things on the backburner. Basically if I had external funding on my project I'd be able to dedicate all my time to it, but I'm using personal time to do it. And as a contract worker, when you get a contract, you do it, otherwise you don't get paid. Of course, no one has interest in investing in something that they don't know what it is either, and I'm not at liberty to say exactly what it is yet (obviously).

I do have another person on my team though, he also has had his regular work take up his time.

I may have to push back my beta for it, but I'm still aiming for the 15th on announcement. Oh yeah, I'm also getting married on the 30th, there's a Jack & Jill wedding shower on the 9th, and my bachelor party on the 16th... so that's all kind of taking up my time lately too.

i can't thank you enough for supporting the price with NSF and your own buys , i see them all the time and it helps boost the confidence on us small guys in this coin... can't wait for POS(i think many critics don't realize how much that helps even tough the price went down it would have been in the gutter if it wasn't for that and the blessing in discuise that is broken digishield)

BK - Maybe it would be a good idea to tentatively approach Bitfinex about adding Naut? They obviously won't to it now since the volume is so low, but it might help to plant the idea until Naut is more established. I think they would be especially interested if some of your friends could also contact them and let them know that they might be interested in a reliable place to buy Naut with fiat.

Wow.. you're not afraid to take on a whole lot, and that is some schedule! I think I'd explode with stress..

It looks like flyingmongoose is our 'community manager' already.

There is also a list of tasks that any of us can pick up on and work on - i think you will find this list at the end (some) of his posts.
Personally, I cannot help with any of these things except last on the list as I am no coder but here is the list, lifted from dogging's post..
So that's about it..
We are waiting on Blocktech to put the PoS wallet into a public testnet..
Once this phase is passed, I think it is just a case of agreeing a block to switch over to PoS.
There is no official timescale on this.. apart from soon!
