As what i have been research, Satoshi Nakamoto is the one that created bitcoin. Satoshi nakamoto is a alias of a person or group of person that created bitcoin, he is originated from japan. But all of that is a speculations, as of today, no ones knows him or them, the truth about its identity. But as what i know is that we are thankful to him or them because he or them created bitcoin that helps us to earn profit to support our needs and wants.

My pet unprovable theory is that Satoshi (I think it is a single person) works for a government organisation for his day job and Bitcoin was his home hobby project. So i do not think that we need to know these question just do what you have to do and keep doing your work. No need to find him if he is some where then he will be happy and proud to be the creator of this incredible forum.
