Dogecoin : transfer takes roughly 1 hour ,
cost of transfer (as far as known) - 1 DOGE
DOGE is quite widely used for transfers
DOGE already had significant crashes and forks
Asiacoin : transfer time roughly 20 seconds
cost of transfer : 0.01 AC (roughly 50 times cheaper)
AC never had a fork (this present wallet)
AC so much better?

NeuCoin (french startup that raised $2.25m funds) is using a very similar PoS schedule as ours. I don't know if they got the idea from us (we were first to it).
With BTER down... I submitted a coin request to be added to poloniex. Lets see where this goes. |

With BTER down... I submitted a coin request to be added to poloniex. Lets see where this goes. Yeah, let's see where this goes. As Bter was our biggest exchange, I assume a good amount of AC were on Bter. I'll try to contact them to see the status of those coins. We'll try to get on a new exchange, preferably an Asian one. |

Bter told me to wait for an official update, not very reassuring.
Our largest wallets haven't been changed in a while, so I'm optimistic that the AC on Bter was not stolen. If you had AC on Bter, please post how much.

Oh cool  still a few months yet, and 5 % is a nice stable amount to give incentive to keep staking 5% is comfortable though I am personally fine with just 2% per annum. A higher % doesn't really mean much if the inflation outpace the staking rate. actually after looking at mintcoins year end staking stats... not even half the coins were staked, so it's inflation was not even 10% of the 20% it could have been. which means 20% was not enough incentive for the majority to hold and stake. I have a bunch of coins that are 5 - 10 % and I always notice that they seem to have more coins sitting on exchanges waiting to sell than staking. which is a hell of a lot worse than than a bit of inflation. |

Had .1btc on bter and around 100k AC. I will be moving the tipbot onto a linux server cloudserver and updating the code to the tipbot you can donate to my AC address listed below if you feel the work is going in the right direction. I like the idea of a crowdfund is this something I can help put together? |

If you compile from the Linux source, it will recognize it as 2.0.1 (or whatever version number, if you edit it before compiling). There's no difference, the only way the blockchain would accept their stakes is that if their stakes follows the same rules as everyone else's. |

A few of our big wallets started staking, this happens every now and again and will increase difficulty significantly. Increase in difficulty is not indicative of an attack. |

Bter is back online. I suggest trying to withdraw the coins as soon as they enable it and trade on Cryptsy or CoinSwap.
